Chapter 94: A Different Place
After the operation, I took my phone and returned to the bathroom door.
On the screen, Lin Yan looked at my dazed expression as I just figured out the situation, and his eyes became deep.
He licked his lips and lowered his voice, with an unquestionable allurement:
"Baby……"
"Show me... down there."
My face suddenly turned red!
"What are you looking at! I'm not wearing anything underneath!" I subconsciously clamped my legs together.
"It's because you're not wearing any... that I want to see."
His eyes were like hooks, and the burning desire could be felt through the screen. "Just take a look, let me see... Is it okay? Last night... Was I too..."
There was just the right amount of "worry" and "guilt" in his tone.
My heart is beating fast.
My reason tells me that this request is too shameful and too perverted!
But looking at his face filled with longing and desire, remembering the detailed arrangements he made before leaving and the madness of last night... I just couldn't bring myself to say no.
I bit my lower lip and whispered softly, "...I can only watch for a while."
"Yeah! Just a moment!" He immediately promised, his eyes shining as if he had discovered a treasure.
I took a deep breath, feeling my cheeks burning. I untied the towel, letting it slide down to my ankles, and stood naked on the cool tile floor near the bathroom door.
I didn't dare look at myself on the screen, let alone his eyes. I could only lower my head stiffly and slowly move the camera of my phone down.
The cold air brushed against my skin, stirring up tiny particles.
On the phone screen, all I could see was my flat belly, the smooth lines of my thighs, and that area in between...
"Wife..." His voice was hoarse, filled with suppressed excitement, "...open a little."
“That’s enough…” My toes curled up in shame, but I obeyed.
"Come closer...yes...let me see it more clearly..."
His voice seemed to carry electricity, penetrating into my ears.
I felt like I was being roasted on a fire, my whole body was burning.
"Hmm..." He seemed very satisfied with what he saw (although I had no idea what he saw). Through the screen, I could clearly hear him let out a low, possessive sigh. Then, on the screen, he leaned close to the camera and gave the screen a loud kiss, making a "bo" sound.
"Hey! You pervert!" I suddenly took away the phone as if I was scalded, hurriedly grabbed the bath towel and wrapped it again, my heart beating wildly.
"Alright, alright," he chuckled, his voice happy and satisfied. "Don't be angry, baby. I'm about to join our partner company. I'm hanging up now. Love you."
Before I could curse again, the screen went dark.
I was the only one left in the bathroom, wrapped in a bath towel, my cheeks burning, but a small flame was quietly ignited deep in my body because of the shameful "examination" just now.
I scratched my wet hair in annoyance and looked at the water heater which was still heating with the indicator light on.
The time waiting for the hot water to boil suddenly became extremely long and unbearable.
For some unknown reason, I walked into the shower again, and the cold tiles irritated the soles of my feet.
I turned on the cold water switch and let the cold water wash over my body, trying to extinguish the evil fire.
But Lin Yan's low voice, burning eyes, and the loud kiss on the screen... were circling in my mind like a spell.
The cool water slid across my skin, but it aroused a deeper desire.
Leaning against the cold tile wall, his fingers slowly moved downwards uncontrollably, filled with a hint of guilt and unspeakable desire...
Just for a moment... I just want to fix this... just for a moment...
The next day, thinking that I had to solve the stomach problem anyway, I simply ate in the school cafeteria.
It saves trouble, although the taste is far inferior to Lin Yan’s cooking, and even not as good as the restaurants I often go to downstairs.
I was concentrating on a plain-looking rice bowl when a familiar, yet slightly exaggerated, voice rang out overhead:
"Chen Rui? Why are you here?"
I looked up and saw Fang Qing, holding a tray and staring at me with a curious look on her face.
"Why, your family owns the school cafeteria?" I replied unhappily and continued to eat.
"Oh my god, what a rare guest!" She sat down across from me without any hesitation, her eyes shining as if she had discovered a new world. "Why aren't you hanging out with your girl? You look so pitiful, all alone."
She paused, and suddenly a sly, all-knowing smile appeared on the corner of her mouth. "Could it be... that they had a fight?"
"Go away," I rolled my eyes at her. "He and I haven't had a fight yet. He's on a business trip, and there's no one to cook. I can only make ends meet at school."
As he said this, he poked the slightly hard rice in the plate.
"Tsk tsk tsk," Fang Qing shook her head and laughed in a very "perverted" way, "Whose little resentful husband is left behind in an empty house? Can't sleep alone? Come on, let sister accompany you for a meal and comfort your lonely heart." As she said this, she pretended to reach out and pat my face.
"Hey!" I quickly hid back, a look of disgust on my face. "Why don't you go find your senior brother Gu? He's the one you should be 'harassing', right?"
"Huh?" Fang Qing's smile froze for a moment, and then she rolled her eyes. "What does this have to do with him? What do you mean by 'my home'? Classmate Chen Rui, you can eat whatever you want, but you can't say whatever you want!"
She deliberately raised her voice, but her eyes were obviously a little wandering.
"No way, Fang Qing," I put down my chopsticks, looking at her veiled expression, and couldn't help but expose her, "You really can't tell he likes you? There's no need to act innocent in front of me, right? Anyone with a discerning eye can see through the two of you."
"Come on!" Fang Qing's voice shrilled, like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. "If he really liked me, he should have taken the initiative to chat with me and ask me out! Instead of acting like nothing happened and not saying a word after I deliberately left him alone for so many days!"
She pouted angrily and poked the food on the plate with her chopsticks, as if it was Senior Brother Gu's face.
Before she finished speaking, the phone on the table vibrated and the screen lit up.
Fang Qing glanced at it subconsciously, and then her whole body seemed to be frozen. The next second, she blurted out, "Fuck!"
"What's wrong?" I leaned over curiously.
She looked like she had seen a ghost, and turned her phone screen towards me: "Oh my god... Speak of the devil... This guy... This guy actually contacted me!"
The screen clearly displayed a new message from Senior Brother Gu.
"I'll tell you!" I laughed. "What have you done to Senior Brother Gu? What did he do?"
Fang Qing clicked on the message and read, "'Are you free tomorrow afternoon at 2:00?'"
"Wow!" I raised my eyebrows. "Didn't they take the initiative to ask you out? Hurry up and agree! What a great opportunity!"
Fang Qing, however, was like a cunning fox. She shook her finger, a sophisticated expression that said, "You don't understand," she said. "You don't understand this, classmate Chen Rui. At this point, we should play hard to get! Let him know that I'm not that easy to date!"
After saying that, she cleared her throat, held down the voice button, and replied in a deliberately gentle but somewhat distant tone: "Sorry, senior, I have something to do tomorrow afternoon." As soon as she released her finger, the message was sent successfully.
That tone gave me goosebumps.
Almost the next second after the message was sent, Fang Qing's phone buzzed again.
She looked down, her face instantly falling as she wailed, "Damn! This guy said, 'I remember you don't have classes tomorrow afternoon, and you don't have to do the lab, right?' This guy! How come he even remembers my class schedule so clearly?! He's too much of a hassle!"
Looking at her expression of anger, annoyance, and a little pride, I couldn't help but sigh, "Fang Qing, this is exactly what you're doing wrong. You clearly like someone, yet you still resort to such petty tricks. Aren't you tired of that?"
"But..." Fang Qing scratched her head awkwardly, her voice lowering. "If I agree so readily right away, wouldn't it seem like I'm... cheap? Like I've been waiting for him to ask me out..."
"Losing value?" I was almost amused by her amazing train of thought. "Why would you even think that? How could you not feel that you'd lost value when you were chasing after people all day long, with the lab jammed and WeChat messages bombarding you?"
"Shit!" Fang Qing choked on me, her face flushed. "Then... can the nature of that be the same? I was the one who took the initiative and seized the initiative! This time... this time it feels..."
She was stuck, unable to find the right words.
"This time I feel like the other party is serious,"
I took over her words, finished the last bite of my meal, wiped my mouth, and looked at her calmly, "So, you're panicking. Are you worried that a response you get too easily won't be valuable enough? Or are you afraid that if you show too much expectation, he'll look down on you?"
Fang Qing fell silent, biting her lower lip, her eyes wandering, obviously because what I said hit the nail on the head.
She looked down at the follow-up message from Senior Brother Gu on her phone screen and fell into deep thought.
As for whether she agreed to Brother Gu's invitation later, I think, with her personality, if there was any progress, she would definitely come to show off or complain to me.
But looking at her conflicted look, it seems she still has a long way to go.
