Chapter 142 Unlucky Child

Chapter 142 Unlucky Child

Jian Yu returned to school with many agreements and sketches, and it can be said that the trip was worthwhile. He was in high spirits.

Draco, who had nothing in his hands, not only lost his right to speak at home, but was also forced to spend several nights with the three of them without being able to play video games. Now he looks haggard and emaciated.

But his situation did not improve after he returned to school.

Because he was constantly looked down upon by his own dean.

This was reflected in the fact that he received a P grade for his carefully prepared potions homework and was ordered to rewrite a paper due to several spelling errors.

He felt that he couldn't fall asleep anyway, so he looked carefully for half the night before he could make out the words between the lines of the homework -

The whole page is written with the two words "targeting"!

He had to look through his timetable carefully and found that the next Potions class was still two days away, and he couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

A full 48+ hours should be enough for Snape to calm down...right?

The good news is that there is still some time until Potions class;

Bad news, we have Defense Against the Dark Arts class today and it's a full moon night.

But poor Draco knew nothing about this.

Therefore, when a man in a black robe flew into the classroom with a fierce smile on his face, only four words came to his mind:

My life is over! ! !

Jane Yu was not surprised that Snape came to substitute for the class. She had heard about Harry's painful experience learning about werewolves under him a month ago.

After all, among the Marauders, Snape is the only one who has not vented his anger, Professor Lupin.

But she was indeed surprised by Snape's attitude towards Draco.

It was as if he was facing not the Malfoy child, but Potter No. 3.

"Turn to page 394 of your textbooks." He gave the order with a gloomy face, which scared all the students.

Due to the terrifying reputation of the owner of the black robe, everyone quickly did as they were told.

Draco wisely shut his mouth, not daring to say another word, let alone make any unnecessary movements.

But that didn't mean Snape let him off easily.

"Mr. Malfoy, can you tell us how to distinguish between a werewolf and a real wolf?"

Draco, who was caught off guard when his name was called, stood up hastily. He felt all the blood in his body flowing back into his brain, as if he was having a high blood pressure attack.

He quickly scanned the textbook and finally caught the corresponding words:

"A werewolf differs from a real wolf in several ways. The werewolf's snout—"

"Excuse me." Snape said coldly, "I think reciting the contents of the textbook will not help our course at all. Why don't you talk about other insights?"

Draco gaped.

"What a shame," Snape concluded. "I didn't expect your father would raise a son who couldn't tell the difference between a werewolf and a real wolf at Christmas. I'm afraid I'll have to prepare ten buckets of Flobberworms in my office for you."

Draco sat down dejectedly.

You know, the twenty buckets of caterpillars that were assigned last time have not been processed yet, and now ten more buckets have been added!

He didn't understand what this had to do with his dad and Christmas?

He just took Jian Yu home for a trip?

"Then Miss Jane, I believe this question will be easy for you." Snape called out Jane Yu's name.

She had to stand up:

"There is no obvious difference between a werewolf and a wolf in appearance, except perhaps a slightly shorter nose, smaller pupils, and a tufted rather than bushy tail. The real difference between the two is in behavior..."

Snape nodded with satisfaction: "Very good, for Miss Jane's explanation, Slytherin will get 5 points."

The little snakes laughed softly; it was difficult for them to contain their joy.

Daphne covered her mouth and laughed very happily. She hadn't given Draco a good look for many days in a row.

Why did Jane Yu go to the Malfoy family first instead of their Greengrass family?

No matter how you look at it, it's Draco's fault!

Hearing the laughter, Snape quickly looked over again and saw Daphne who was laughing happily.

And Theodore to her right.

They sandwiched Jian Yu between them, one on each side, and sat together in every class.

etc--

Sit together in every class?

"Ms. Greengrass, you seem to have a problem with my teaching methods."

"In that case, you and Mr. Malfoy will share these ten buckets of caterpillars."

Now there is one more distraught person in the classroom.

Snape turned to Theodore, his slightly subsided aggression returning to its peak again, and he said in a rhythmic tone:

"Mr. Nott is laughing happily. I guess he has a lot of insights into werewolves. So can you please explain, what is the difference between an Animagus and a werewolf?"

Theodore, who was innocently shot and had never laughed before, was stunned for a moment. Fortunately, he had the habit of preparing in advance, so he did not make a fool of himself on the spot:

"Animagus transforms into an animal on the initiative of the wizard, but werewolves transform passively on a full moon night."

Snape's mouth curled into a straight line, and he did not give any comments. Instead, he continued to point out Jian Yu:

"Miss Jane, please add to this question."

Jian Yu had to stand up again and answer the question that he had answered in Snape's confinement many months ago:

"Animagus can still maintain his sanity when transformed, but a werewolf cannot."

Snape gave him a satisfied look and then started to criticize him:

"Why don't you write this answer down?"

"And Nott, if you can answer the questions completely, I'm sure our class will progress much faster."

In short, after a Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Snape successfully cured the low blood pressure of Draco, Daphne and Theodore - perhaps in the eyes of this professor, he cured their bad habit of always staying close to Jane Yu.

In the Potions class two days later, the farce still did not end easily. Draco felt that he had turned pale and had completely lost his brilliance.

It has to be said that even Mr. Malfoy's meticulous mind can have its negligence. When he ignored Snape's warning reply and sent an invitation to Jane Yu, he obviously forgot that he had a poor son who was receiving potions education under Snape.

Draco's miserable days continued until Gryffindor's match against Ravenclaw.

He went to the court early that day, hoping that Porter would fall off the broom.

It's not that he hadn't thought about pretending to be a Dementor to scare Potter to death, but after his Slytherin friends were poisoned by Dementors, doing so would be too inconsiderate of his friends' feelings.

Unfortunately, he saw the Firebolt that Potter was riding.

One's own bad luck is painful, but the enemy's good luck is even more worrying.

He pursed his lips, revealing a gloomy look.

What he didn't know was that Jian Yu soon became as unhappy as he was.
