Chapter 167 Stealing the Child
After a short day trip to London, Jian Yu returned to farm life on Spider's End Alley.
The farmer here had obviously taken very good care of her older children during her absence. Not a single sniffer had escaped from the box, the owls were sleek and graceful, the little snakes were elegant, the cattle, sheep and chickens in the yard were fat and strong, and the cabbages on the ground were green and juicy.
But while she expressed satisfaction, Snape was very dissatisfied.
Because this was the third silver crucible she had cracked.
"Look, how wise our honorable principal is, taking his children to learn only to loosen the soil of graves during the summer vacation."
Snape's face darkened, his arms crossed over his chest, and he spoke in a familiar sarcastic tone:
"She must have hit herself on the head with the hoe, so that she couldn't even make the basic elixir."
He never expected that in just a day and a half—
His best students cook one pot and fry another!
This must be Dumbledore's question!
Why did he take the children to dig graves?
Was he cursed when he dug the grave?
Is he debuffed by Potions?
Bathed in the familiar dry humor, Jian Yu also felt confused.
She wanted to say that she didn't learn how to dig a grave, she only learned how to draw a fire circle...a gas stove.
If we ask her to cook hotpot now, she will definitely be able to control the heat very well.
Let’s get back to the topic.
"I guess it was just an accident - my fire control should be fine?"
Without stopping, she picked up Snape's fourth silver cauldron -
This time she exploded the crucible faster than any other time; it cracked almost the moment she heated it.
"You'd better stop your weird behavior."
Snape couldn't bear to see his own cauldron being treated like this, so he took the fifth cauldron from her and decided to demonstrate it himself:
"Don't you know the most basic heating method taught in first grade—"
As he waved his wand -
The pot is cracked.
Snape looked like he had lost all his means and strength.
He slumped down in his armchair, seemingly unable to believe what was happening.
The potion-brewing skills that he was so proud of all his life were destroyed in an instant by the exploding crucible!
"I never thought it would come to this - the cauldron exploded - not even as good as the first graders -"
He muttered to himself and didn't even have the time to clean up the mess.
Jian Yu looked at him worriedly, and then began to check the bottoms of the crucibles.
She noticed something unusual.
"Where did you buy these crucibles, sir?"
Snape gave him a quizzical look.
Jian Yu raised an unused crucible and pointed its bottom towards him:
"Their bottoms are - very thin, not like normal crucibles? And some of them have cracks -"
Snape seemed to have regained some of his means and strength.
He stood up from his armchair suddenly, frowned, took the crucible and examined it carefully.
As he carefully rubbed the bottom of the cauldron, his face became increasingly livid, and he looked like he could eat a whole Gryffindor in one bite:
"Partridge's Crucible - damn it - foreign imports, good quality and cheap?"
He angrily began to pack up the crucible and rushed out the door, looking like he was going to ask someone for an explanation -
Little did he know that Jian Yu, who was left alone in the room, was about to be murdered.
After he had negotiated with the owner of Patchi's Crucible Shop, he returned to Spider's Tail Alley with the replaced crucible, feeling a sense of desolation.
This place is deserted!
Snape's heart sank.
This turn of events was beyond his expectation!
Could it be that Peter Pettigrew has fought back?
Or the child ran away from home?
Snape, who couldn't find Jane Yu anywhere, immediately sent a patronus to deliver a message to Dumbledore.
He carefully checked the traces in the house. Jane's box and the Sniffers were upstairs. It seemed that she had not run away from home... There were no signs of fighting... It seemed that it was not Peter Pettigrew who attacked...
No, why does it smell burnt?
He finally checked the sofa and found two large black footprints on it and picked up a few burnt black dog hairs!
This Spider's End Alley was robbed!
Not only did they step on his sofa, but they also stole his students. This great humiliation made Snape so angry that his nose was crooked!
He uttered the murderer's name word by word from his throat -
"Sirius Black!"
......
"The old bat is gone! Harry, let's go!"
Sirius and his godson were crouching down in Spinner's End, watching secretly.
Seeing Snape Apparate away, the two carefully dismantled the fence and used various spells to fix the cabbage on the ground -
They successfully sneaked into the house.
What greeted them was a blazing flame!
Fortunately, the battle-hardened Sirius reacted in time, pushed Harry away and turned into a dog to avoid him.
This prevents oneself from becoming a familiar fate!
Jian Yu, who thought he was being robbed, saw who was coming at the last second. He dangerously retracted the Fire God's Way spell that he was about to cast and forcibly replaced it with an ordinary fire-making spell.
"Jade! You're very alert, that's great! And you use the blazing flames very well!"
"You've suffered! Harry and I are here to rescue you!"
Sirius grabbed her shoulders and shouted happily, not seeming to care at all about the experience of being almost roasted:
"Look how thin you are! Did the old bat not let you eat? Did he abuse you, making you deal with caterpillars day and night?"
He seemed to treat Snape's house as his own back garden. He sat down comfortably on the sofa, touching and tapping left and right, and put his feet on it.
And his godson Harry, seemed to have become much braver after staying with him for so long, and he looked at the sofa with an eager look.
Jian Yu felt that he was full of question marks.
She obviously ate well, had a balanced diet, and brewed potions happily, even exploding four cauldrons!
"No, I think I'm fine—"
"And you'd better get down from up there—"
Her voice caught in her throat as Harry suddenly grabbed her arm and there was something cool in his palm, pressing it against her body.
In an instant she felt a hook pulling hard at her belly button—
After the world spun around, her feet landed in a long hallway.
