Chapter 242 Farewell Party
Hogwarts held a grand farewell party.
The flags of the three schools were hung on the wall, constantly casting down golden and silver rays of light.
Perhaps because this was their last time at Hogwarts, the students from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons began to let themselves go.
Because the Triwizard Tournament was over, there would be no suspicion of collaborating with the enemy if she loudly supported Jian Yu this time. She was treated the same as Krum when he came here, and even better than him.
"Miss Jian, can you sign an autograph for me and take a photo with me?"
There was a constant stream of stiff English with Bulgarian, French and other accents around her.
Jian Yu had to sign their strange objects with a feather pen or lipstick with a stiff smile——
The robes, the hats, her cards... the posters...
She felt like she was turning into a typewriter.
The person who successfully got the autograph had an extremely excited expression on her face, and she boasted loudly to the people around her in a language she couldn't understand:
"(I'm going to stick this sticker on the wall with a permanent sticky charm! She can see me every day!)"
“(Did you see this statue? I finally got the dragon-training version!)”
"(If she can come to our school, I am willing to give her my bed and sleep under the bridge!)"
The farewell party turned into a huge personal autograph session, and Dumbledore's voice was barely audible amid the noise.
Furong used her bloodline advantage to easily squeeze forward in the dark crowd, and with a smile, she stuffed a stack of animated photos into Jian Yu's hands:
"I think we'll meet soon. Madame Maxime told me—"
Her words were drowned out by the students' cheers, causing both of them to look up towards the center of the auditorium in astonishment.
It was the first time that Jian Yu discovered that Durmstrang and Beauxbatons could also make such a big noise like the students of Hogwarts!
I don't know who started distributing stickers and small cards, which triggered rounds of scramble.
The cake on the table was squeezed to the ground and turned into cream paste, and sausage, ham and pizza were thrown everywhere; pots and pans fell to the ground with a clang, and were stepped on by students who were in a hurry to bend over. The professors were so angry about this waste of food that their faces turned black.
There were so many people crowded around her that the Slytherin students had to sit at the long table of Ravenclaw for the time being; and the students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang almost squeezed her onto the table in order to be closer to her!
"Order! Order! Line up!"
Madame Maxime frowned and had to step in person to stop the excited students.
She stretched her tall figure in front of Jian Yu, and the students of Beauxbatons obediently exchanged glances, bowed slightly and lined up.
"(I can't believe you have no manners at all and bring shame to Beauxbatons!)"
Madame Maxime scolded loudly in French.
In fact, before coming to Hogwarts, she often worried that her students would reveal their true colors in front of others.
It was not until the final farewell party that she felt relieved and concluded that these school elites had good etiquette.
Unfortunately, she didn't expect that -
Her students actually created such a commotion at the end!
Beauxbatons still lost face in Hogwarts! Let her not be able to hold her head up in front of Dumbledore!
Without Karkaroff, the Durmstrang students seemed to become more optimistic and did not mind the embarrassment.
After all, the moment Karkaroff escaped, they had already completely lost face in front of Beauxbatons and Hogwarts students.
The reddish-brown robes and fur cloaks they originally wore were replaced with robes of the British wizards' style and color. The originally uniform shaved heads were also turned into short, shaved heads, which looked much looser and more casual than before and not as tight.
They managed to squeeze to the front by clamoring to duel with Beauxbatons and Hogwarts students.
"A new hairstyle. There is no rule from the principal now." Seeing Jian Yu's curious look, a Durmstrang boy smoothed back his 3:7 haircut. "Before departure, we all had to have our clothes tailored and our hair cut uniformly, in order to look neat and energetic. To be honest, I have to thank Karkaroff for running away, otherwise I don't know how long I would have to keep that prisoner-like hairstyle!"
Jane realized that it was covered in hairspray, just as good as Draco's.
"It's a pity that we didn't spend more time together." He said to Jian Yu in English with a tongue-twisting accent, "Otherwise we could exchange more cultures, we could duel each other with war magic, and I could also teach you to dive and drive our big ship."
Hearing this, Jian Yu was once again glad that she did not transfer to Durmstrang.
What a hardcore combat school!
......
After seeing the students off, what remains is busy homework and exams.
But Jian Yu found that this was nothing to her.
With the help of Ravenclaw's crown, her learning speed increased by leaps and bounds - she could almost become a scanner!
And with the help of the Resurrection Stone, she even had a completely new perspective on her thesis!
"I've never felt my memory was so good."
Picking up the feather pen and writing furiously, Jian Yu, with the crown on his head, sighed with satisfaction:
"No wonder Ravenclaw girls are the wisest founders. With this diadem, I can even take 24 courses and read the entire library."
Hearing this, the ghost of Bridget Wenlock, a famous arithmetician who died in 1286, complained gloomily:
"Oh, Ravenclaw, that's too bad - we Hufflepuffs are the hardest working - but people always mistake me for a Ravenclaw -"
She looked at Jian Yu's arithmetic divination homework about the number 7 with a sad look and said:
"You should protect your research. These papers should be locked away, just like I did - written in invisible ink, with sentences reversed, in different languages -"
Jian Yu wisely sent her away before she started another round of complaints and nagging:
"Thank you for your help, I look forward to our next meeting."
"No, I'm not looking forward to it." Wenlock was relieved to be sent back to the world of the dead. "You have to live well and don't meet again."
Jian Yu turned the resurrection stone three times again, and a translucent soul emerged.
That was Artemisia Lufkin, the British Minister for Magic who died in 1825, and a perfect person to help her with her History of Magic homework:
"Send it away, next one——"
"The next one—"
