Chapter 335: Location Relocation (Part 2)
Changing the position was not a big problem, Jian Yu nodded and accepted the measure.
But what surprised her was Minister Bones' next arrangement...or request.
"Besides, Yu, I have to ask you this unwelcome request - for some reasons, I don't want you to go back to school at the beginning of the semester."
Jian Yu immediately understood Minister Bones' intention:
I hope she can continue to manage the research team and speed up the production and research and development progress so that these war preparedness materials can be distributed to Aurors and special envoys as soon as possible.
From Minister Bones' perspective, this request is indeed very reasonable.
Minister Bones' eyes were full of earnest hope. She spoke earnestly and started from the psychology of Slytherin:
"Jade, I think that with your ability, it is a waste of talent for you to continue studying at Hogwarts... Of course, I am not underestimating the teaching that Hogwarts can give you, but I think you can achieve much more outside of school. You can reach unprecedented heights."
She started from Jian Yu's perspective and analyzed the pros and cons bit by bit in order to achieve the purpose of persuasion.
She starts with her imagined worries about Jian Yu not completing her studies:
"Professor Marchbank of the Wizarding Examination Authority told me that your ability far exceeds the level of graduates. Twelve Os are just the limit of the exam, not your limit. So I think your level is just restricted by the school and cannot be fully utilized."
"But the Ministry of Magic is different. We can provide you with a stage, a platform for you to reach a higher level... Our Auror training system goes far beyond the scope of what is taught in Hogwarts. I think I would be very happy to open all the training courses to you."
In the past few years, Jian Yu has become completely accustomed to such poaching behavior.
Her expression was calm, and she even wanted to smile bitterly.
Because there is some special destiny guiding her...either Dumbledore disagrees or accidents happen frequently...
She would always return to Hogwarts in the end.
Although this suggestion was made by Bones and was for the sake of the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic...
As a broad-minded person, Dumbledore would surely agree...
She can also better manage her company and investments and prevent workplace accidents...
But she was not sure if some unexpected events would happen along the way, causing everyone's business to fail halfway.
"I have an indissoluble bond with Hogwarts." Jian Yu sighed and kindly reminded Minister Bones, "Although I really want to manage the researchers on site in person, you don't understand that I didn't succeed when I tried so hard in the past... Your idea may be difficult to realize..."
She felt like she had given up on a goal that seemed almost impossible to achieve.
But Minister Bones obviously could not understand her earnest advice, as she was committed to "freeing" Jane from Hogwarts.
After hearing Jian Yu's words and seeing that her face remained calm, she couldn't help but feel anxious!
This child really sticks to himself and will never be tempted!
He wasn't even shaken by the Ministry of Magic's direct train!
You know, according to statistics, the Ministry of Magic, which is the most difficult to enter, is the place that Hogwarts graduates dream of most!
Bones used all his strength and eloquence to interrupt Jian Yu's unfinished words and talk to her about the future:
"Yu, I know you have achieved a lot and your game console is used in every household. But I think you must have your own lofty ideals, your own passions and the career you want to pursue in the future."
This might be the first time since Bones took office as Minister of Magic that he had "abused his power" and opened all the doors to her:
"If you want to work in the Ministry of Magic in the future, our positions will be completely open to you, and you don't need to have OWL or Newt scores. If you want to enter St. Mungo's, it's just a matter of a word. Or if you want to be a reporter or a Quidditch star, I can definitely recommend you... Even if you want to take the exam, get the certificate and find another job, it doesn't matter. I can notify the Wizarding Examinations Administration to set up a special Newt exam for you..."
As he said this, Bones gradually realized the problem -
Dumbledore could give her everything she could, and perhaps even more.
So she changed the subject and moved towards her ideal direction, and began to talk about great principles and various doctrines:
"I know that you have always wanted to lead the wizarding world into the future... You love all progress, innovation, and development..."
"You don't like pure-blood supremacism, you oppose war, and you love peace... You hope to promote the development of wizards..."
"Then leaving the ivory tower of school and entering society is your first step to changing the world..."
Jian Yu shuddered!
Listen to this familiar rhetoric!
Let's talk about life first and then ideals, watch the snow, the stars and the moon, and talk about the philosophy of life from poetry and songs...
Isn’t this the promise she made when recruiting employees?
"Although I do hope that the world will be peaceful and everyone can live..." she complained silently, "but this pie is too big and too round."
Bones sighed, knowing that he could not fool the children. His rhetoric eventually went from empty promises to real money:
"Your company and research projects are both off-campus. I think it would be more efficient if you can personally guide them on site."
She knew very well that you can't catch a wolf without sacrificing a child, so she made up her mind and directly offered Jian Yu an offer that no one could refuse:
"Your laboratory will be guarded by Aurors 24 hours a day. I will assign the most elite Aurors to protect you closely, so you don't have to worry about safety. Until the end of the war, all employees' salaries and research funds will be paid by the Ministry of Magic. After the products are sold to the Ministry of Magic at a reasonable price, the excess production can be sold by you, and you don't have to share the profits."
Jian Yu couldn't help but look up at the ceiling——
It turns out that there really are good things in this world that fall from the sky!
She suddenly felt...
I shouldn't give up so easily. I can still try harder!
"Well... why talk about money? It's so hurtful... Everyone is eager to capture Voldemort and the Death Eaters, fight against extreme pure-blood elements and terrorism, and restore peace to the wizarding world. I am very happy to be able to contribute to the Ministry of Magic at this critical time."
Bones breathed a sigh of relief after successfully reaching a consensus. She felt that the pressure on her was relieved a lot.
"Then it's settled." She smiled. "I have actually sent a letter to Dumbledore, wanting to discuss this with him. He just wrote back saying that he is on his way back. I believe he will agree to something that will be good for everyone. When he comes back, we will discuss the location of the new laboratory."
Both of them had smiles on their faces and were full of hope for the future development.
Only Headmaster Dumbledore, who was visiting the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor somewhere far away, suddenly heard the bad news...
He was carrying a forty-meter-long old magic wand and was flying towards us with sparks and lightning.
