Chapter 22

Chapter 22

She could no longer look Dumbledore in the face. This respected old man probably didn't know about these things, and she herself was extremely embarrassed.

Life at Hogwarts began to become boring, with classes, meals, and sleep. In the past, Lucius and Narcissa would take her to activities, but after they graduated, only a few Slytherins and Lily would interact with her. Before she knew it, the school year had come to an end.

She didn't want to give up any of the elective courses, so she filled out the selection form and handed it in. The final exam was coming up, and Lily dragged her to the library to review every day.

Overall, this final exam was not difficult and was quite easy for her. With this thought in mind, she happily left Hogwarts and went home to wait for the results.

Isabel said that she would take her to Germany for a vacation in a while, as she had some things to deal with there. Ayala's grades were also delivered soon. Seeing that all the grades on the notice were O's, she was a little excited. In order to reward her test results, Isabel allowed her to go to Diagon Alley.

Narcissa and Lucius lived a happy life after their marriage. They were now on vacation abroad and had sent many postcards to Ayala.

And that boy... she dreamed of him again.

The boy was sitting on a lawn. He seemed to hear the noise, turned his head to look at her, then turned his head away. Ayala walked over and sat down beside him.

"Half a year, another half a year, and you're finally back."

Half a year? Was it that long? She was puzzled for a moment, but Ayala now understood one thing: every time she and the boy met in her dreams, the time difference was different from what she thought.

"I graduated from the third grade."

He turned his head and looked at her, and for the first time she took a good look at him. The boy had beautiful blue eyes and auburn hair.

"Can you tell me your name?"

"Albus, my name is Albus."

Although she already knew it, it still felt a little unreal when she heard this person say it in person. The boy handed her a lily and then disappeared. When she woke up, she found that the lily had come to her bed.

The flower showed no signs of withering, as if it had just been picked. Ayala carefully put the flower in a box for preservation.

Isabel was going to Germany for some unknown purpose, so she was taken along. Her aunt would only come back at night, and during the day, she and a house-elf were the only ones in the house.

She dreamed of the boy again, but this time there was no background, only a vast expanse of white. The boy just stood there, waiting for her to come over. Ayala did come over. She didn't know if it was an illusion, but she felt that the closer she got to the boy, the more real he became.

Albus held out his hand.

"Catch me, Ayala."

"good."

The moment her hand held Albus's, all the white light around her quickly dissipated. When she opened her eyes again, the boy was already sitting on the window of her room.

Isabel's reminder to go out made her realize that this was not a dream, and the boy really came to her.

"Aren't you the person in my dream? How did you come to reality?"

"I just appear in your reality. No one else can see me, only you can see me."

"Why can you wake up from the dream just by holding your hand?"

Albus pointed to the lilies on her bedside table.

"Because of her, she made a mistake. Originally, this flower shouldn't have come into your world. If she can come, then I can come too."

"Was the place where I met you before a dream?"

"Not exactly. It's a very small parallel dimension. Because of a magic link gone wrong, this dimension can form a connection with some people's dreams. So I can meet you through your dream, but I'm not in a dream."

"Have you completely come to reality now? You won't go back?"

"I don't know the answer to this question either. I need to find some books related to this."

Ayala was in a dilemma. As a grown man, he had to sleep and eat, so it was impossible for him to hide it from Isabel. What excuse should he use? The boy saw through her concerns in an instant.

"Don't worry, I'm not a real person. You can run into me, but I don't need to eat or sleep. I'm like a ghost, except you can run into me."

"How did you know I was thinking about this?"

"I came into this world from your dreams. I can see through everything you think and can also communicate with you."

Ayala went to the study and brought over all the books about dreams and ghosts, but none of the books here had anything related to this. While she was flipping through the books, Albus asked her a lot of questions.

"What year is it now?"

"1974."

This was a little different from Ayala's fantasy. She had thought that the headmaster should be someone who loved learning when he was young. However, Albus only glanced at him for a few seconds and then walked silently to the window to enjoy the scenery.

Ayala stopped reading and looked up at Albus. He had reddish-brown hair, was very tall, and had a slender figure. At this moment, the boy turned his head and their eyes met. They were a pair of blue eyes, shining blue, like gems.

"If you can't find it, then don't look for it. I don't want to go back either."

"Isn't your family all there?"

"It's just my brother and sister. My relationship with my brother isn't very good, mainly because there's only always three months there."

"Three months?"

"As long as three months pass, everything will go back to three months ago. I won't age, I won't grow up, and nothing will change. I can't remember how many three months have passed."

"Is there something wrong with time and space?"

"Yes, something happened there later. I don't know what it was, but it caused the splitting of a problematic space-time."

"If that time and space is repaired, will you also disappear?"

Albus nodded, but said nothing. He just stared at the stars outside the window.

"Ayala."

"Um?"

"Every time you look at me, I see stars, just like this."
