Chapter 31
She was used to the almost all-white design of Turner Manor, so she decorated this place like that as well. For Ayala, all-white looked more comfortable.
As Rosmerta said, it would be very noisy here whenever Hogsmeade Day came. Madam Rosmerta was a very cheerful and beautiful woman. After getting to know her for a long time, I would occasionally treat her to a drink. She was very talkative and would talk endlessly when she was drunk.
It has to be said that Hogsmeade is indeed a safe place as the number of that man's Death Eaters increases. After all, it is right next to Hogwarts, the safest place in the British wizarding world.
Ayala had declined the invitation to be Lily's maid of honor, only promising to attend the ceremony herself because the bridesmaids would be staying overnight and she didn't dare leave Hogsmeade for more than a day.
Originally, Potter and Lily wanted a grand wedding, but because they were now official members of the Order of the Phoenix and had participated in many important missions and had become the focus of Voldemort and the Death Eaters, their wedding was very simple.
Only the parents and close friends of both parties were invited to the wedding. There were probably less than 20 people participating, but the atmosphere was already very good, and everyone who came offered their sincere blessings.
At the wedding, Ayala couldn't help but sigh that everything is possible. Looking at the loving couple at the wedding, who would have thought that Lily was avoiding Potter two years ago?
But Lily felt a little down when the wedding ended.
"Petunia didn't come."
"Penny? I think I heard you mention her before. Is she your sister?"
"Yes, she hated magic after I came to Hogwarts. She didn't come to the wedding."
Anyone would be disappointed if their only sister could do magic but they couldn't, but it wouldn't be so serious as to not even come to the wedding.
She has spent the past few months thinking about Albus, and when people have free time, they tend to have wild thoughts.
Perhaps her longing for Albus was too deep, Ayala finally saw Albus again in her dream. He was still standing in a white light and stretched out his hand to Ayala. She walked over and shook his hand without thinking much.
The white light suddenly disappeared, and Albus brought her to the village in her dream. Although it was exactly the same as in the dream, she felt that it was all real. She pinched herself, and the pain in her arm proved that it was all true.
"Albus? How did I actually get here?"
"Your hair is so pretty."
"You haven't answered my question yet?"
"This place isn't real, but your body has truly arrived here. This isn't the real Godric's Hollow. There's no one else here, just the two of us. I don't know why this place came into being, and I don't know why you and I are here."
"Didn't you merge into Dumbledore's body? How come you still appear?"
"So I said I wasn't real. Now the sun is about to set. Do you want to watch the sunset with me?"
Ayala looked in the direction of Albus's finger, smiled and nodded. No matter where it was, no matter whether the person was real or not, as long as he could touch him and stay with him, it was enough.
As Albus said, there was no one in the house except the two of them, and Albus took them around Godric's Hollow just like he did when they were at Hogwarts.
Ayala and Albus didn't know how many days and nights had passed here. When they were with him, they would always forget the time, as if having him was enough in the world.
Ayala didn't care what happened in the world he originally lived in, and it didn't matter even if he stayed here forever.
This was the first time Ayala saw herself and Albus in a mirror that was not the Mirror of Erised. The two people in the mirror really looked very compatible, didn't they?
Here, the two of them did everything they had never done before, doing things that should be done and things that should not be done. When Ayala later recalled those days, he wished he could stay there forever.
Unfortunately, fate loves to go against her. When she was watching the sunset with Albus for who knows how many times, Godric's Hollow began to shake, and everything was going back to the white light at the beginning.
Ayala wanted to say something but found that she could not make any sound. She and Albus tried desperately to grab each other's hands, but as soon as their fingers touched the skin, they were separated by a huge force.
She watched with her own eyes as Albus moved further and further away from her, but she was helpless to do anything, until the boy began to disappear in front of her little by little, first his hands, then his feet, and slowly disappeared completely.
The moment the boy completely disappeared, Ayala was also taken away from here by a powerful force. The strong light forced her to close her eyes. When she opened her eyes again, she was still in the room, but she remembered that she was originally on the bed, but now she was by the door.
This is not a dream. My fingers still feel the warmth of his just touched. Is it that I have entered his world just as he has entered my world?
Ayala stood up and walked to the bed to look at the clock. Only five hours had passed since she closed her eyes. She was sure that it was not a dream. The warmth of her fingers touching Albus was still there, and everything there was real.
She recalled the last time she saw him. Had he completely disappeared? He had completely disappeared before, so why could she still see him?
There was a sound outside the window. It was an owl delivering a letter. It must be from the Malfoy family. The letter was from Narcissa. It was good news. Narcissa was pregnant. They had been married for so many years and Narcissa had always wanted a child but had never gotten pregnant. This was definitely very good news for Narcissa and Lucius.
But... when she thought of Lucius's current identity, she wondered if the child could grow up safely.
In the letter, Narcissa also hoped that Ayala would accompany her to St. Mungo's for a checkup in a month. Lucius might be busy that day and the wizarding world was not peaceful recently, so it would be best to have someone accompany her.
Ayala readily agreed, figuring it would be enough time for her to return to Hogsmeade.
