Chapter 32

Chapter 32

This was Ayala's first time in St. Mungo's. It didn't look like a hospital from the outside. Perhaps because the Death Eaters were hurting Muggle and half-blood wizards everywhere, the place was almost crowded with people.

Narcissa was treated by a female therapist who asked a few questions skillfully. There was a vase with lilies on the table in front of the therapist. The smell of the lilies made her feel a little nauseous and she retched.

It was strange. She had smelled lilies every day before and didn't feel uncomfortable. What happened? Narcissa and the therapist heard the sound and looked over. Narcissa looked at her with concern and asked what was wrong. The therapist asked her a few questions and asked her to do a check. An hour later, Ayala was sitting in the corridor and had not recovered from the words "You are pregnant" just now. Narcissa kept asking her questions.

She had sworn to the therapist that she had not done anything like that, but halfway through her words, she suddenly remembered what happened between her and Albus, and everything told her that everything that happened between them in Godric's Hollow was not a dream but really happened. She didn't know how to explain it to Narcissa and could only play it off.

As soon as she returned to Hogsmeade, she wrote to Isabel to ask if someone like her who survived by relying on her family's magic could actually have children. Her first reaction when she heard that was to remember that the book said that she only had a human body and was essentially a ghost.

The next day, Isabel wrote back saying that there was indeed a Turner family history. Well, she had to believe it. Ayala wanted to give birth to the child. After all, it was one of the few connections between her and Albus.

In December, Lily also wrote to say that she was pregnant. This year there were so many good news, one after another. Lily was also curious about who the father of the baby in Ayala's belly was, but Ayala never gave a direct answer.

Ayala recently liked to go to the Hog's Head Bar to chat with Ariana's portrait and order a drink. Rosmerta was very dissatisfied with this and emphasized several times that the drinks here were the best in the whole of Hogsmeade.

But this action brought an unexpected gain. Today in the Hog's Head Inn, Dumbledore and a woman with messy hair were sitting face to face as if they were interviewing each other.

The woman looked familiar. Ayala remembered that she mentioned Sybill Trelawney of Ravenclaw. She had an impression of this person because of her last name. The Trelawneys came from a family of prophets and were very talented in prophecy, but this talent had faded a lot after being passed down for generations.

She was really curious about the prophetic ability of this descendant of the prophet, so she chose a seat close by to listen. However, Ayala arrived at an unlucky time. When she just sat down, the interview was almost over. From Dumbledore's tone, it seemed that he was not very satisfied.

Just as Dumbledore stood up to leave, Ms. Trelawney suddenly became very strange. Her voice was distorted and hoarse, unlike before.

"The one who possesses the power to vanquish the Dark Lord is about to come... His parents have thrice escaped his clutches... Born at the end of the seventh month... The Dark Lord will be his mortal enemy, a match for his ultimate power, but possessing powers the Dark Lord is unaware of... One is doomed to die at the hands of the other, for both cannot live together... The one who possesses the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born at the end of the seventh month..."

After she said this, she suddenly came to her senses and returned to normal, not remembering at all what she had just predicted. It seemed that the credibility of this prediction was very high. The result of this interview was that Ms. Trelawney was hired as a professor of divination.

When Ayala returned, she was still pondering this passage, three escapes... She felt that Lily and Potter seemed to be somewhat similar. Calculating the date of Lily's pregnancy, she was born at the end of July. She decided to write a letter to remind him.

That day was not Hogsmeade Day, and there were few people in the Hog's Head Inn, with almost only Dumbledore's table and Ayala's table. Ayala could swear that he had only told Lily, but the prophecy still got out and reached Voldemort's ears. Voldemort and his men began to hunt down the Potter family.

Even Ayala doesn't know their current address. It is said that they chose a trusted person to cast a fidelity spell. Ayala estimates that this person is among the plunderers.

After that, she only received letters from Lily from somewhere unknown every once in a while, and the letters mainly contained reports of safety.

After her belly became more and more obvious and could no longer be covered by her wizard robe, Ayala almost stopped going out. Rosmerta occasionally came to bring her food and noticed her growing belly.

But Ms. Rosmerta was also a person with a story. She didn't ask for anything extra, but just took care of her in other places.

Narcissa was born in June, a boy named Draco. Both of them wanted Ayala to be the godmother, and Ayala agreed.

Ayala gave birth to two girls a month later. She named one of them Renata and the other Kay. She immediately told the good news to Narcissa and Lily, and both of them gave her many gifts to congratulate her.

After the joy came one bad news after another. First, Dumbledore knew that she had two children, but he didn't know it was two. He hoped that Ayala would give the children to him and he would find a good place for them. Ayala was unwilling, but with her frequent problems, it was indeed a better choice to let others raise them.

After having these two children, she began to soften her heart. After some deliberation, she only sent Kay away and kept Renata.

After a few days, she found that she had more and more physical problems. She would faint at any time, sometimes for a few hours and sometimes for a whole day. These problems all appeared in the family magic book.

She never thought that the last news she received about Lily was the news of her death, which was told to her by Dumbledore and Severus. It was said that Peter Pettigrew dueled with the informer Sirius Black in order to protect the Potter family. In the end, Pettigrew died, and Sirius Black was caught by the Aurors. Lily was killed by Voldemort. For some reason, Harry survived, but Voldemort disappeared.

People were convinced that Voldemort was dead and that it was the Boy-Who-Lived, Harry Potter, who defeated him, and more and more Death Eaters were captured and sent to Azkaban.

Ayala wanted to raise the child, but she couldn't even raise her own child because she often fainted and Renata was always hungry.

Finally, she found Snape's address, Spider's Tail Alley. There was almost no one there. This was the best way Ayala could think of. She had been to Turner Manor ten times, but Isabel was not there. And from some traces, it seemed that no one had lived in Turner Manor for a long time.

Narcissa and Lucius had not heard from each other for a long time since Voldemort disappeared. No one replied to their letters, and the gates of Malfoy Manor were always closed. No one knew whether there was anyone inside.

Seeing her health deteriorating, she remembered the two things Severus had promised her. After all, he had saved her life, so she should be able to help with this little bit... right? Ayala placed Renata in a basket with a warming spell, placed it at the door, knocked, and immediately ran to see from a distance.

After a few minutes, the door opened. Severus stared at the basket at the door for a few seconds, then picked up the paper in the basket and read it:

You should still remember the two things you promised me, right? Now I think of it. I don't need two things. One is enough. Please help me take care of this child.

I cast a magic on the black bag to make it stretch. Inside it were gold Galleons. The child's name is Renata. If you want, she can have the last name Snape. If not, let her have the last name Rosenberg.

The main reason why Ayala was watching here was that she was afraid that this person would really ignore Renata, so she would have to think of other ways. She was already prepared for Severus to ignore her, but she did this because there was really no other way. Unexpectedly, Severus really picked up the basket and went into the house. Is this still the Severus she knew?
