Chapter 5
The days at Hogwarts passed quickly, and before they knew it, the Quidditch match was over and Slytherin won the Quidditch Cup. Ayala didn't want to express any opinion about this, after all, almost everyone knew the reason why they would win.
Christmas was coming soon, and she could choose to go home or stay in school. She chose to go home. In fact, there were not many people staying in school. The day before leaving school, Blake asked her for her home address.
"Why do you want an address?"
Ayala asked.
"I'm going to send you a birthday present, so of course I need your address."
She wrote down the address from the notebook and gave it to her, and Blake also gave her his address, so... do we have to give gifts on every holiday?
She told Isabel in advance that she was going home, and saw her standing on the platform as soon as she got off the train.
"Is that your mother, Ayala?"
Blake asked, following her gaze.
"No, it's my aunt."
"Can I say hello to her?"
"Of course."
They walked over together, Ayala hugged Isabel, and Blake gave her standard smile.
"Hello, ma'am. I'm Narcissa Black, Ayala's classmate at Hogwarts. Nice to meet you."
"Hello, Miss Black."
"I saw my mom. See you back at school, Ayala."
"goodbye."
Isabel Apparated her back, and she told her aunt that she was going to give a gift.
"You can look around this house. You can give away everything here. If you don't find what you like, you can go to Diagon Alley using the same method you used last time."
If she could stay at home, that would be great. Ayala immediately began to search the house and was surprised to find that there was nothing in the house except her and her aunt's room.
She gave up and chose to go to Diagon Alley to buy it.
There were many shops in Diagon Alley that she hadn't noticed the first time she was there, and since she didn't know many of them, she had already shopped by noon.
The gift for Black was a beauty potion. She went to the only beauty shop in Diagon Alley and waited in line for half a day before she could buy it. The gift for Malfoy was a complete set of books about Quidditch, but she didn't have Malfoy's address, so she could only send the gift to Black and ask her to help send it out.
In addition to these two people, she had one or two good friends in Slytherin, and she gave each of them a diary with a gorgeous appearance.
The only other person who could send a gift was Evans. Ayala bought a set of light green ink and in about an hour, all the gifts were mailed out. The gift for Isabel was chocolates that she had made herself.
When she woke up the next day, there were gifts in her room, brought up by the house-elf. Ayala rinsed her mouth and began to open the gifts.
The first one was a gift from Malfoy, a box of chocolates with a card that said, "Merry Christmas." —Lucius Malfoy.
She suspected that he had written this card uniformly and that everyone had the same card.
The next one was from Blake. Blake's gift was the biggest one. Ayala was stunned for a few seconds when she opened it. It was Blake's nightgown, the same style, just a different size. The card had familiar cursive writing on it:
Thank you for your gift. I have already sent it to Lucius. I noticed you were looking at my nightgown last time, so I went to get one in your size. Merry Christmas! Ayala. - Narcissa Black
The other Slytherin friends, like Malfoy, gave chocolates. Finally, it was Evans's gift, a very delicate little box with a light gold pen inside and a card on the pen:
Thank you for your ink. I love it. I was walking past a store and saw this pen and it reminded me of you. It's the same color as your hair. This pen is for Muggles. I cast a little magic on it so it keeps pouring ink. No need to change the ink. Merry Christmas, Ayala.
After opening the gifts, Ayala felt an unusual happiness and joy that she had never experienced before. This was the first time she felt a sense of belonging from someone other than Isabel... It seemed that being close to these people was not a difficult thing.
At this moment, an owl suddenly appeared outside her window, dropped a gift box on her table, and flew away... If she saw it right, the owl... flew out of a hole that appeared out of nowhere, and then flew back into the hole that appeared out of nowhere! What kind of magic was this?
She opened the gift box and found a diary inside, but it was not new. There were a lot of notes densely written in the diary. She turned back to the first page and saw two lines of words written on it.
Defense Against the Dark Arts Notes
Albus Dumbledore.
...Dumbledore, isn't that the headmaster's name? She quickly flipped through the gift box and found a card inside:
Ayala, I haven't seen you in the village for several days. I was planning to go to your house to look for you, but your aunt said you were sick and didn't let me in. Ariana missed you too. She said that since you gave her that gift, she has been able to control her magic. She learned a few more spells a few days ago. I met a peer yesterday. His name is Gellert Grindelwald, a relative of Ms. Bathilda Bagshot. I talked a lot with him and mentioned you. He really wants to meet you. I hope to see you soon.
—Albus Dumbledore
...She couldn't understand the words on the card at all. She knew the names of two people, Gellert Grindelwald, the Dark Lord, and Bathilda Bagshot, the lady who wrote her History of Magic textbook.
She had no connection with Headmaster Dumbledore. She only met him once at the beginning of the school year. The old man already had a head full of white hair... How could he be the same age as her?
Ayala remembered his ability to fly without relying on anything, and suddenly an idea popped into his mind.
Isn't she from this time and space?
Think about it, what other information is there? Got it! Evans said her body temperature was very cold, and Black was worried that she was cold because she was not wearing enough clothes, so he often cast warming spells on her.
Yes, when Ayala shook hands with them, she always felt that their body temperature was different from her own, and they felt like fire, but... Isabel would not do that. Isabel would not let her feel cold or hot.
Also, she woke up in a place and didn't remember anything, and all the courses in Hogwarts were not difficult for her, and any spell was easy for her...why.
