Chapter 9
Ayala didn't go back to that place. Final exams were coming up and all her attention was focused on them.
Almost the entire Hogwarts was reviewing. The library was full of people every day, and Narcissa was reviewing with her in the dormitory.
Her content was simple and concise, not difficult at all. The most difficult one was Narcissa, who was even reviewing with the Illumination Spell in the early morning.
When she woke up the next day, Narcissa had two huge dark circles under her eyes.
Time passed quickly, and in the tense review atmosphere of Hogwarts, the final exam arrived.
The subjects of the practical exam were easy for her. She passed them all easily, whether it was Potions, Charms or Transfiguration. Then came the written exam. For Ayala, all the subjects were easy except History of Magic.
The exams were over, and the results would be sent home during the holidays, which made her feel extremely tormented. However, Lucius was even more tormented than them. His exam was the most important one for wizards, and like theirs, he would only receive the results during the holidays.
Narcissa started packing her luggage with her. Although they still had a week before officially leaving school, they both had too much stuff, mainly Narcissa's. She had a separate box for beauty potions, and other boxes for clothes, shoes and daily necessities. It was extremely troublesome to pack.
This year's house cup still belongs to Slytherin. Amidst laughter and joy, Ayala boarded the train leaving Hogwarts.
The carriage that Narcissa and Lucius sat in was never quiet; it was very lively. At least during the long journey to London, she would never be bored, as she could listen to Narcissa's gossip and Lucius's experiences.
The train arrived at the station. As soon as Ayala got off the train, he saw Isabel standing on the platform. She was wearing a familiar white dress and a white top hat.
"I saw my aunt. Goodbye, Narcissa and Lucius."
"goodbye."
She skipped and ran with the suitcase towards where Isabel was.
On just the third day after she returned home, her report card was delivered to her by owl.
Hogwarts final exam results for the 1971-1972 school year:
Ayala Turner:
Charms: O
Defense Against the Dark Arts: O
Transfiguration: O
Potions: O
Herbalism: O
Astronomy: O
History of Magic: E
Flying: O
A long string of Os and an E, this was a good grade. She jumped for joy and quickly sent the report card to Isabel.
Her aunt was very pleased with her performance and rewarded her with a book.
This book is very old, and the paper has turned yellow, showing its age. It is a student's potion notes. It can be seen that this student has at least great attainments in potions, which will be of great help to her.
Ayala originally thought she would spend the holiday in boredom because she finished her homework in the few days after the holiday.
Just when she had nothing to do, a letter broke her boring vacation.
...This owl looks familiar. Ayala took the letter brought by the owl, tore off the sealing wax, and took out the letter paper inside.
Dear Ayala,
I've missed you a little after not seeing you for two weeks. My Lucius is planning an engagement ceremony. It's a simple ceremony, and only relatives and friends will be invited. So I'm inviting you. 12 Grimmauld Place is the Black House. The day after tomorrow is Lucius and I's engagement ceremony, so please be sure to come (ps. You can bring your aunt too).
Your friend Narcissa
Isabel quickly agreed to her request and waited until the day after tomorrow to send her to Black House, and then she began to choose a gift for Narcissa.
Then buy a set of beauty potions from Diagon Alley...
Soon, the date of the appointment arrived. Isabel quickly packed up and brought her to the house using Apparition.
Unlike Turner Manor, which uses pure white and warm tones, Black House is basically surrounded by black. There is black everywhere. Standing at the door is a very old house-elf with an extremely low voice.
"Did you receive an invitation?"
"Of course."
She took Narcissa's letter from her bag, and the elf quickly read it over it, then invited them inside. A dark-haired woman came forward, looking extremely elegant and dignified.
"Isabel, I haven't seen you for a while."
My aunt quickly exchanged pleasantries with the woman, who smiled at Ayala.
"Your niece is so cute. She should get to know Sirius and Regulus."
"Of course, children all like to make friends."
Her aunt pushed her, and Ayala immediately understood and walked inside consciously. After a few steps, she turned back.
"Excuse me, Mrs. Black, but where is Narcissa?"
"She's on the second floor. You can see her if you go up. There are a lot of people there, but you may not be able to find her—Regulus."
As soon as she finished speaking, a person suddenly appeared behind Ayala, a little boy with black hair, who looked about the same age as her.
"This is Ayala Turner. Ayala, this is my son, Regulus Black."
"Hello."
Ayala said a quick hello, all she wanted was to find Narcissa as soon as possible.
"Hello……"
"She is Narcissa's friend. Take her up to Narcissa."
"Okay, Mom."
She followed the boy silently, praying that Narcissa Lucius would come and rescue her soon, as she couldn't adapt to this kind of social interaction.
"arrive."
This room is indeed eye-catching... because the decoration inside is extremely grand.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
As soon as she thanked him she rushed into the room, and the moment she saw Narcissa she breathed a sigh of relief.
"Good afternoon, Narcissa."
"Oh, you're here."
She turned and smiled at Ayala. Narcissa was wearing a simple white tube dress that reached down to her ankles.
"Because it's just an engagement, there's no need for anything too formal, so I just chose a light dress."
"I thought your engagement ceremony would be held at Malfoy Manor."
"Lucius and I have discussed that the engagement will be held at my house, and the wedding will be held at his house."
Ayala looked up and around and asked a question.
"Where are the Lucius people?"
"He's on the first floor, you might not have seen him. Help me take off my veil."
She picked up the white veil that had been placed aside and carefully placed it on Narcissa's head.
"alright."
Ayala found a chair to sit down and remembered something she was curious about.
"By the way, Narcissa, does my aunt know the lady at the door?"
"That's my aunt, my aunt as well."
"…What's the connection?"
"She is my father's cousin, my aunt, and her husband is my father's cousin, my uncle. My aunt married my uncle, so she is my aunt now."
“…”
She was confused.
"I heard her talk about your aunt. It seems the two of them were friends at school."
