Chapter 180: Discovering the Key

Zhuomu finished the last bite and walked over to Liang Meng and sat down.

"Washwood."

Since he was free anyway, Liang Meng asked Zhuomu without any hope while eating.

"kindness?"

"Do you know there is a secret passage in this mansion?"

"Secretly? I don't know."

Sure enough, Liang Meng was not disappointed. This little fool knew nothing about anything.

"Here, here's one for you."

Unable to bear Zhuomu's eager gaze on the snack in her hand, Liang Meng handed him a piece. Zhuomu immediately smiled brightly.

Key, oh key, what do you look like? Where are you hiding?

If you are not in this Zhuofu, where else can you be?

Liang Meng shook her head and muttered to herself, while Zhuomu looked at her curiously while eating.

"Where's my brother? Where's Yue'er?"

After Zhuomu finished eating, he tilted his head and asked Liang Meng.

Liang Meng hesitated, her eyes evasive, and she was speechless for a long time. She was thinking about whether to tell Zhuomu the truth, she was afraid that Zhuomu could not accept the truth.

"I see."

Zhuomu suddenly stood up, his voice excited.

"What do you know?"

"I know where my brother and Yue'er are?"

"kindness??"

Zhuomu ignored Liang Meng and walked quickly forward. Liang Meng hurried to catch up.

When they arrived at the back courtyard of the mansion, Zhuomu saw that there was no way forward, but he still kept walking. Liang Meng was about to call out to Zhuomu, but Zhuomu slapped hard on a lotus flower in the lotus painting on the white wall in front.

Then Liang Meng was shocked to find that the ground, which had no visible flaws at all, suddenly cracked open with a loud bang.

When the gap was opened enough for free entry and exit, Zhuomu turned around and greeted Liang Meng with a smile.

"Let's go, let's go find brother and Yue'er."

After saying that, he raised his foot and walked towards the secret passage. Liang Meng came to his senses and hurriedly raised his foot to follow him.

She had a feeling that this incredible place might hide what she was looking for.

The secret passage was very dark and there was no candlelight, especially after they entered, the sky above their heads was covered with a loud bang.

The dark passage became completely dark, so dark that you couldn't see your hand in front of you.

Liang Meng didn't dare to go forward and called out "Zhuo Mu" in a low voice a few times.

There was a crisp sound, a sound of flint being struck by a piece of wood. He found a dusty candle on the wall and lit it.

Zhuomu held the candle in his hand, and the candlelight cast a yellowish glow on his face.

"Let's go."

Liang Meng didn't move. His simple mind immediately understood that she was afraid. Without any hesitation, he stepped forward and held Liang Meng's hand.

"What are you doing?"

Zhuomu's palm was very hot. Liang Meng felt uncomfortable being held. She tried to pull her hand away, but Zhuomu held it very tightly and Liang Meng did not move.

"Don't be afraid. I'll hold your hand."

"I'm not afraid. Just lead the way and I'll follow behind you."

Zhuomu was very stubborn. He thought Liang Meng was pretending to be strong, so instead of letting go, he held on even tighter.

His current intelligence is that of a child, so don't bother with him. Besides, the most important thing now is to find the key.

Liang Meng followed Zhuo Mu and repeated this sentence three times in his mind.

The path was very long, and Liang Meng felt like she had walked for a long time, yet she still hadn't reached the end. The candlelight in front of Zhuo Mu was moving very slowly, but it was still very erratic.

Liang Meng couldn't see the walls on both sides at all.

Their palms were sweating and their breathing was a little slow, so Zhuomu took Liang Meng around a corner.

The passage widened, and Zhuomu let go of Liang Meng's hand. He walked and stopped, lighting all the candles on both walls.

The dark passage was completely illuminated.

"Where is this?"

Liang Meng walked and looked at the patterns on the walls on both sides that looked like the Bagua diagram. He did not forget to ask.

"It's where my brother, Yue'er and I play."

Tsk~~

As expected, you can't expect to hear useful information from a fool.

"Here we are. They must be hiding inside."

As he spoke, he turned another corner and a rusty iron door appeared in front of him.

It was no longer clear whether the door was originally red or black, and it was covered with dust and cobwebs.

Zhuomu approached, and the spiders were frightened and fled in panic.

As if it had not been opened for hundreds of years, the iron door was pushed open by the wood, making a muffled and heavy sound.

Zhuomu poked his head in, calling out "brother" and "Yue'er" repeatedly, but there was no response from the dark room.

Liang Meng walked in, feeling heavy in her heart, as if something terrible was waiting for her inside.

Zhuomu lit a candle and jumped around looking for his brother and Yue'er.

Liang Meng stood in the middle of the room, looking carefully at this room which was very similar to the dark room in the tomb that Mu Ying took her to.

The size and structure are very similar, but it looks a bit rougher than the dark room in the tomb, and the walls are bare. Let alone weapons, there is nothing at all.

There are only a few tables of different heights in the front and a few closed and mysterious-looking cabinets on the side.

Apart from these, there is nothing else.

Zhuomu had already crawled under the table to look for his brother and Yue'er.

Liang Meng rolled his eyes helplessly: He thought his brother and Yue'er were bugs and could hide in the cracks in the ground.

"Washwood."

"kindness?"

"come out."

"profound."

Zhuomu crawled out from under the table, with some dust on his black hair. Liang Meng raised his hand and patted it. Zhuomu smiled like a kitten and lowered his head obediently to let Liang Meng pat him.

Liang Meng laughed: This... feels like taking care of a child.
