"What’s wrong with you?"
Chuanqi didn't understand why he suddenly got angry.
And Legend's expression of helplessness and forbearance, as if to say, "What are you throwing a tantrum about?", only added fuel to the fire.
Little Leaf hissed and swung his tail on the ground in annoyance and anger.
There was a cold and murderous look in his round eyes.
If Liang Meng were in front of her, she would probably be a corpse.
The murderous aura is too strong.
"I'm going to kill her sooner or later."
Little Leaf gnashed his teeth, spoke word by word, and walked away wagging his tail.
Chuanqi turned around and before he could utter a harsh rebuke, he caught a glimpse of someone walking in from the corner of his eye.
When Chuanqi turned around, he saw Yun Xuchen who had disappeared for several days.
"Yun Xuchen."
"What about her?"
The two spoke almost in unison, but one's tone was one of surprise and joy, while the other one was extremely vicious.
"Huh? Who is it?"
Chuanqi was so stupid that he didn't notice anything unusual about Yun Xuchen.
"What about her?"
As Yun Xuchen spoke, he glanced towards Liang Meng's bedroom with cold eyes.
Chuanqi followed Yun Xuchen's gaze and pointed at the door, asking with a dazed look: "Master?"
Yun Xuchen frowned slightly and looked at him impatiently. He didn't even want to say "hmm" and just looked at him with a pair of cold eyes.
Chuanqi almost cried after seeing Yun Xuchen's look.
By the way, why are all of them so indifferent to him now?
It's already good enough to have a frown on your face. What's wrong with them all looking impatient to see him?
He lowered his head, sniffed, and a low voice came out slowly.
"The hall master went out and didn't say where he was going."
"kindness"
Yun Xuchen simply responded and walked towards Yun Nian. After a few steps, he thought of something and turned back to explain to Chuanqi.
"If she comes back later, let her go to Yunnian."
"profound"
The big lion lowered his head and responded obediently.
"You come with her."
"Ah? Oh."
Before the big lion finished speaking, Yun Xuchen had already disappeared in the backyard.
Shuiniang was originally going to the wilderness, but she was affected by the legendary child's words. When she was halfway there, there were bursts of thunder, and soon bean-sized raindrops came pouring down.
Fortunately, there was a dilapidated triangular pavilion on the side of the dirt road, which led to no village or shop. Shui Niang hurried in, holding up the hem of her clothes with both hands.
The rain was so heavy that it soon created many pits on the ground. The roof of the pavilion was also crackling with the raindrops.
Shuiniang stood by the pavilion. The rain was so heavy and windy that the hem of her clothes was soon wet.
Shui Niang stepped back, retreating to the middle of the pavilion. Glancing at the rain-soaked seat beside her, she turned her head, looking annoyed.
I don’t know when this horrible weather will clear up.
The rain was getting heavier and heavier, with no sign of stopping. Shui Niang was getting more and more impatient while waiting.
I wanted to get to the wilderness as soon as possible, break the barrier as soon as possible, and win the first credit from my lord.
But none of these things went as planned.
Shui Niang poked the last bit of dry ground in the pavilion with her toes. A moment later, amidst the torrential downpour, she seemed to hear shouting.
Shui Niang was a little suspicious and turned back to look the way she had come. The rain was so heavy that she couldn't see anything clearly.
Unexpectedly, just as Shuiniang turned her head, the shouting sounded again, this time much clearer.
Shuiniang turned her head again, squinted her eyes slightly, and saw a small dot moving quickly in the thick rain curtain.
Shuiniang stood still, staring at the small dot.
After a while, the dot gradually grew bigger, and finally, the legend holding an oil-paper umbrella appeared in the rain.
Looking at Chuanqi who was walking and looking around in the heavy rain with an anxious look on his face, Shuiniang's heart was filled with countless emotions.
But the biggest thing is hatred. Hatred for Liang Meng.
Why, everyone, Yun Xuchen, this legend, even the lord whom he admired so much...
All these people are so nice to Liang Meng. They are willing to do anything for her and put everything in front of her.
Why?
Where exactly do I fall short compared to Liang Meng?
"Master, Master."
Shui Niang came back to her senses and saw Chuanqi running towards her, waving his hands.
"Master."
Chuanqi walked into the pavilion, folded his umbrella, and stood beside Liang Meng.
"How did you know I was here?"
Shui Niang's question was very straightforward. She was now under Liang Meng's wing, so no matter what she asked, it wouldn't arouse Chuanqi's suspicion.
She just wanted to know whether Legend had been following her with an umbrella the whole time, in order to find him so quickly and accurately.
"I don't know."
Legend shook his head, and a few drops of water fell from the ends of his wet hair.
"Outside Yunmeng Hall, this is the only road the Hall Master has walked before. I followed it all the way here, and unexpectedly, I actually found the Hall Master."
"What do you want from me?"
Shui Niang's expression didn't brighten much at all because of the legendary smile, and her tone remained cold.
But Legend didn't care.
"It's raining so hard, and there's no one living or housing on this road. I think if the hall master takes this road, he will definitely get wet."
"I'm here to bring an umbrella to the Hall Master."
Chuanqi said this and handed the oil-paper umbrella in his hand to Liang Meng.
Shuiniang stared at the oil-paper umbrella that was still dripping water without moving, then looked at Chuanqi, who was soaked by the rain even with the umbrella, and did not reach out to take it.
In such heavy rain, an oil-paper umbrella is of no use.
