Chapter 33 Kogrim's Request

Chapter 33 Kolgrim's Commission (Page 1/2)

Kolgrim?

Has he become an evil spirit?

Frank's first reaction to hearing what the strange ghost said was surprise.

He has played games before, and in the game of The Witcher 3, there is no such evil spirit who calls himself Kolgrim.

Eight years later, in 1271, after Geralt arrived at this noble tomb, he only got the Viper School's Viper Silver Sword blueprint and some ordinary materials.

Did something unknown happen during these eight years?

Although the plot in reality may not be exactly the same as in the game, the sudden appearance of such a ghost who can communicate and maintains rationality is indeed surprising.

Frank was silent for a second or two, looking at the appearance of the ghost seriously.

Festering body, strong body.

Perhaps because of the ghost, the ghost's facial muscles are all rotten, and the original appearance cannot be seen clearly.

However, he was wearing a medium-sized armor similar to a chain mail composite armor, which was similar to the style worn by the Viper School teacher in his memory. This was somewhat convincing.

Most importantly, Frank noticed that less than a meter behind the floating ghost, there was a corpse that had turned into a skeleton.

The environment in the underground tomb was too damp and cold. The broken long sword was left with only the hilt, and the armor that had rotted into rust slag had also become tattered.

Judging from the corrosion of the equipment on the skeleton, it had probably been here for many years, exposed to the air and unattended.

The head of the corpse was chopped off and held in his arms, and there was a scroll that looked like a weapon blueprint next to it.

What surprised Frank the most was that on the neck of the corpse, a metal necklace had long been corrupted and broken, but at the end of the necklace, the egg-sized, curved and entangled Viper School Demon Hunter badge was still hanging on the neck of the corpse.

"Hey! Kid, what are you doing standing there?"

"Don't worry, even though I've turned into an evil spirit, I won't hurt you."

"I still remember the principles of a demon hunter. At least for now, I won't become a monster that only knows how to kill."

After hearing the ghost speak again, Frank decided to trust him and communicate with him. After all, there was no loss in doing so, and perhaps it could avoid unnecessary battles.

He winked at Priscilla, asking her not to leave the Arden magic trap under her feet, and then he said to the ghost:

"I'm also a demon hunter from the Viper School, Kolgrim, you can call me Frank."

Hearing Frank's answer, Kolgrim's ghost shook, and even his voice became a little excited.

"What? You are also from the School of Viper. I have never heard of your name."

"Are you a new apprentice? Who is your teacher?"

"Did the master of the school, Ivar Evil Eye, send you to find me?"

Frank observed the ghost's movements and remained alert in his heart. He shook his head at the ghost and said,

"No, I just heard that a certain demon hunter died in a tomb. I received the commission by chance, not specifically for you."

"Besides, I don't know the teacher's name, and he didn't tell me. I only know that he belongs to the School of Viper."

"By the way, it's 1263 now. You should have been dead for more than ten years." After

Frank finished speaking, the ghost's figure shook again, and he murmured,

"1263, 1263."

"I have been dead for seventeen years."

After more than ten seconds, Kogrim's voice became calm again. He looked at Frank and said,

"It turns out that so much time has passed."

"Frank, I don't doubt your identity. No matter whose apprentice you are, the swordsmanship you use is indeed the swordsmanship of our Viper School."
