Final remarks

Final remarks

First of all, I would like to apologize to everyone.

In the past month, since Yang became active, I have basically updated once a day. The update speed is too slow.

I reflect.

On the one hand, it was because I was too busy during the Chinese New Year, and on the other hand, I had recurring infections of the coronavirus and my physical condition was not good.

On the other hand, it was because I was preparing a new book and had to communicate with the editor to revise the manuscript, which took up some of my time.

Anyway, the updates in the last month have been really slow, I’m sorry!

Let’s get back to “The Big Villain”.

Actually, I have a lot to say before writing this speech.

I would like to talk about my experience writing this book, some stories that happened while I was writing the book, and the changes in my own life.

But when I really typed the four words "Completion remarks", I suddenly didn't know where to start.

So the following content may be a bit random, I will just talk about whatever comes to my mind.

First up is the ending of “The Big Villain.”

To be honest, the outline of "The Big Villain" only goes up to the part where Wei Changtian repelled the Four-Nation Alliance under the city of Fengyuan, and there is no outline after that.

Even the outline that was previously written had some deviations from the actual content.

There was no outline, and the map expanded too large and too quickly in the later stages, so I felt like I had a hard time grasping the situation. Therefore, I decided to quickly push the story to the end after the destruction of the two countries of Qian and Hui.

Everyone may have felt the haste of this, as if something is missing.

In fact, I also know what is missing.

It’s just that within the world framework of “The Big Villain,” my imagination of such a story has basically been written out.

In other words, it’s not that I can’t write more, but that I can’t write anything new anymore.

If we must add content, it would just be to kill a few more emperors, marry a few more wives, destroy a few more sects, and by the way, let all the Sons of Heaven show up.

I didn't want to write repetitive content, so I quickly filled in the gaps and went straight to the finale.

Oh yes, the truth about the world, the first-grade shackles, and the ending of everyone including Wei Changtian, these were all set long ago.

So even if more content is added, the ending will not change.

Secondly, let’s talk about the changes in “The Big Villain” from the beginning to the end.

If you follow it from the beginning to the end, many people may have a feeling.

The first half of this book is more like a refreshing novel, but since Xiao Feng's death, especially after the Yuanzhou City tragedy, the style seems to have changed and is a bit depressing.

To be honest, this change has a lot to do with the outline.

Secondly, maybe I attach too much importance to "logic" and "rationality".

This should not be difficult to understand.

Many times, "fun" and "reasonable" are difficult to reconcile, and even have a natural contradiction.

After all, it is impossible that the protagonist is the only smart person in the world and everyone else is a fool.

And since other people are not stupid, the protagonist’s behavior often doesn’t make people happy.

So how to find a balance between excitement and rationality is the question I thought about the most when writing "The Big Villain". I also think that the next book should be able to do better.

As for some tragic designs, how can we say this kind of thing? It depends on one’s own opinion.

Tragedy is indeed more likely to elevate the plot, stir emotions, and make people remember it.

In many cases, tragedy is even more reasonable.

But at the same time, sending out stabs can easily lead to loss of readers and attract criticism.

According to the original outline, many supporting characters will actually die.

But when I wrote about those plots, I still felt that I shouldn’t cause trouble for everyone.

really.

Life is already difficult, there is no need to make reading a novel so bitter and hateful.

But I also don’t want to leave behind a novel that everyone will read and forget.

So, if you have ever felt emotional, sighed, or inspired when reading a certain chapter or a certain sentence, it means that I have at least written a little bit of what I wanted to write.

About grades.

Compared to the first book I wrote, the revenue and various data of "The Big Villain" have increased more than tenfold.

The high-end admissions of Qidian are over 10,000, and there are over 800,000 students enrolled in QQ Browser.

I am really grateful to every reader!

As for the next book, I want to give it a try and see if I can go a step further.

Oh yes, let me mention the new book here.

"Tang Ye" is also a fantasy novel.

Similar to "The Big Villain", there are also no gods flying all over the sky, and it tends to write more about "people".

What’s different from “The Big Bad Villain” is that it has a completely different idea and worldview, and naturally a completely different story.

The architecture will be smaller and more detailed.

The characters will be more fleshed out (not literally).

The story would definitely be smarter.

"Tang Ye" has been released on Qidian.

If you are interested, you can collect it.

If possible, readers of QQ Browser and QQ Reader can download Qidian and collect the books to follow along.

Because now books on Qidian must have about 500,000 words before they will be synchronized on the free side, and the first 200,000 words on Qidian are also free.

More importantly, for books on Qidian, early reading data is really important.

Thank you everyone! Well, that's about all I want to say.

"The Big Villain" took a year and a half to write, and Wei Changtian's story ends here.

To be honest, I feel a bit lost.

Before, I had only experienced this feeling when I finished a book I was reading. I never expected that one day I would become the person who put a sentence on the book.

But it’s just like what I said at the end of the article.

Every story has an ending, and every journey will eventually come to an end.

But the road is still long, and there will be new stories waiting for us.

Finally, if you have read this, no matter who you are or what stage of life you are going through, I hope that your future journey will be smooth.

It doesn’t matter if you feel tired, you might as well stop and take a break, and then continue to move forward bravely.

Then let’s use the last sentence of the text to end this speech.

"Everyone, thank you for your hard work along the way!"

"See you in another arena!"

The bell outside the city
