Qiu Ling'er was taken aback, then a look of disdain appeared on her face, and she said contemptuously:
"Hmph, how utterly foolish! Do you really think you have a chance of surviving?"
Is this person out of their mind?
Is he unable to tell what's going on?
Didn't he hear what he just said? He actually dares to think she'll let him go? He's dreaming!
Hearing Qiu Ling'er's mocking words, the man knew he had no way to back down, but he would never give up. He gritted his teeth, and finally, as if making a momentous decision, he slammed his palm into his chest, spitting out a mouthful of blood.
Then, with a loud shout, his body exploded!
"Aaaaah—then let's die together!"
The sudden change startled Qiu Ling'er, who cried out in alarm. Then, an extremely terrifying force spread outwards, but this force was blocked by a light blue barrier.
The scene was like a small bomb exploding in the air, extremely terrifying.
The man who died in the explosion turned into a pool of blood and flesh and disappeared into thin air.
However, this flesh and blood did not corrode the space; instead, it was all swallowed up by the pale blue light shield.
Qiu Ling'er stared in horror at this bizarre scene, and then she saw the boy who had helped her earlier walk up to her.
Clearly, this was all done by the boy; he saved himself once again...
She intended to express her gratitude properly, but upon seeing the young man's handsome face, the words that came out were:
"You didn't leave?"
She saw a flicker of surprise cross the boy's face, then quickly realized what she meant and said seriously:
"Thank you for your help earlier."
If it weren't for him, I'm afraid I really would be dead...
