Chapter 18 Taking a Break

I glanced at Ji Lin'an, smiled back, raised my chin, and continued, "They've planted trackers and listening devices in their house and on their belongings. So let's play along. We'll go back and put on a show, saying we've found a better shelter and arranged to meet with the other lucky ones at a certain place. That way, they won't bother with us for the time being. They'll definitely want us to lead them to find more lucky ones, so we can pack our things openly. Then we can just find a random place to take the items with trackers and listening devices there, and then we'll go back to the villa. By the time they realize they've been tricked, they won't be able to find us anymore."

After I finished speaking, I looked at Ji Lin'an with a pleading expression, and Ji Lin'an reached out and patted my head: "Su Su's mind is getting sharper and sharper. I think this idea is feasible."

Qianliyan rolled his eyes at us and said, "If you think it's okay, then it's okay. Just stop feeding me dog food."

Ji Lin'an withdrew his hand: "But we can't be sure how many tracking devices and bugging devices they planted. We'll pack up the things that are unlikely to have bugging devices or tracking devices and take them with us. The rest, whether we're unsure or sure that they have tracking devices, will be put in another bag and thrown away somewhere else."

I came out of the space and said with a hint of worry, "Our food supply is probably only enough to last for about a year. We originally prepared enough for two people, which should have lasted for a year and a half or two. But now that we have one more person to feed, if we want to recruit the lucky ones, we'll probably have to go searching for supplies."

Ji Lin'an frowned: "Hmm, I didn't think of that. We should try not to let others know the amount of supplies. Only when there is a sense of crisis will people be willing to risk searching for supplies."

Thousand-Mile Eye and I nodded again. After chatting, we each rested for a while, had another meal in the warehouse, and then returned home at midnight as planned.
