Chapter 29 No Wind

Upon arriving at the location, I activated my clairvoyance skill and located Wufeng's position. It was a farm located halfway up a mountain. From a distance, apart from a few cattle and sheep being kept in enclosures, the area was extremely empty. No wonder Wufeng said it was safe here; he wouldn't see a single living person or zombie for ten days or half a month. At this moment, Wufeng was packing things in a building inside the farm. After confirming that the surrounding area was safe, I called Wufeng. After a few rings, he answered. I said, "Are you ready, Wufeng?"

Wu Feng glanced around: "They must be ready, but..."

Wu Feng sounded hesitant, so I asked, "What's wrong?"

Wu Feng stepped out of the house, looking at the cattle and sheep in front of him with some reluctance: "But I still have some cattle and sheep. If I leave, no one will take care of them."

I smiled helplessly. "Then wait here, we'll come over first. We'll suddenly appear inside your house, so don't panic."

Upon hearing this, Wufeng immediately turned around and said, "So impressive, good, good, I'll be waiting."

Suddenly, I felt that Wufeng was somewhat endearingly different from the image I had in my mind yesterday. Now, Wufeng seemed more like a cute and chubby man.

After hanging up the phone, we were teleported to Wufeng's place. It looked like the place used to be a warehouse for storing animal feed, which had been temporarily set up as a shelter. When Wufeng saw us land suddenly, he took a few steps back in fright. I immediately greeted him with a smile: "Hello Wufeng."

Without hesitation, Wufeng raised his hand to greet us, mimicking my gesture: "Ha, hello."

I pulled Ji Lin'an towards Wufeng: "My name is Su Yi, and I am the Anywhere Door. This is my boyfriend Ji Lin'an's Treasure Chest. This is Zhang Funan's Clairvoyance, and this is Kaka's Control Technique."

Wu Feng nodded to each of us: "My name is Wu Zhuofeng, but you can call me Wu Feng. My skill is that I can know what animals are thinking."

I was shocked: "Really? You can talk to the cattle and sheep you raise?"

Wufeng laughed: "Actually, these livestock only have the intelligence of a few years old. Their thoughts are not like those of a few-year-old child. Their world consists of eating, sleeping, and daydreaming. They can't really communicate. I can only tell whether they want to eat or sleep when they make noises. Rats have more thoughts. They don't really understand what we humans are saying, but they can roughly understand the direction I'm talking about."

I smiled wryly. I thought that Wufeng's skill would be like in Snow White, allowing me to communicate with animals. It seems that fairy tales are just fairy tales after all; Wufeng's skill really isn't very useful.

After saying that, I walked towards the door. Before me was a vast grassland, with several cows and sheep grazing carefree. When they saw me come out, they looked up at me with a blank expression. A slightly smaller sheep ran towards me and bleated. Looking at the azure sky and the scene before me, I felt a sense of tranquility before the end of the world. I opened my arms and ran towards the grassland, enjoying the refreshing breeze.

After running a few steps, I stopped and turned around: "Aji, come here, it's so comfortable here."

Ji Lin'an was leaning against the door, smiling at me. When I turned around to speak, he looked around and walked towards me: "Do you like it here?"

I nodded repeatedly: "I like it. I've been to the grasslands once before and I've always loved its tranquility. I just imagine how wonderful it would be to ride a horse and gallop across the grasslands."

Ji Lin'an smiled and said, "I think this place is indeed very safe. There are mountains, lakes, cattle and sheep. If we find some more supplies, we should be able to stay here safely."

I looked up with delight: "Really? I think so too. It's much more comfortable and peaceful here than to be scheming and timid in the city."

Ji Lin'an smiled and patted my head: "Then go and discuss it with them."

I nodded, and Ji Lin'an led me back inside. Qianliyan and Kaka were still squatting in front of the wooden fence feeding the lambs. I waved for them to come inside. After entering, I looked around. Wufeng's temporary shelter was quite large, with half of it used to store livestock supplies and the other half for temporary living quarters.

I walked up to Wufeng with a smile: "Brother Wufeng, we originally wanted to form an alliance with you and have you come live with us, but I just saw that your environment here is so comfortable that I have an urge to move here. Thousand-Mile Eyes, what do you think? Would you like to move here?"

Thousand-Mile Eyes looked up at me with delight, then glanced around and at Kaka: "I'm fine, it's really comfortable here."

Seeing that the all-seeing eye agreed, I looked at Kaka and asked, "Kaka, do you want to come over?"

Kaka had her head down, so I couldn't see her expression. I called her again, "Kaka?"

Kaka looked up and smiled, "I'm fine with anything. I'll be wherever my brothers and sisters are."

I clapped my hands happily and looked at Wufeng: "Wufeng, what about you? Do you mind if we move in? We can build a few houses next door, it won't affect your current living environment."

Wufeng scratched his head and laughed, "I'm fine. It'll be more lively with more people. We can drink and sing together."

Seeing that no one had any objections, we decided not to take Wufeng back to the villa yet. We went back to pack our bags and plan our move. Just then, Wufeng's phone rang. Wufeng looked a little shocked when he saw the caller ID, and turned to us and said, "It's my partner!"

I ran up to them and shouted, "Turn on the loudspeaker!"

Wu Feng nodded, answered the phone, turned on speakerphone, and tentatively said, "Hello, Xi Lang."

The man named Xilang spoke up: "Hey, Wufeng, sorry, my phone broke these past few days. Team Leader Jiang from the shelter just got me a new phone."

Wu Feng frowned and looked at us. Ji Lin'an leaned close to Wu Feng's ear and whispered, "Ask him how he's doing."
