I stood at the door of the room, thinking about what K had just said: "Don't rush, it will come when it's meant to." Only then did I realize what K meant. No wonder she seemed so confident when she arrived this morning. It seemed she knew that the notice would be issued today, so she came to wait for us to leave together.
