Chapter 52 Physical Examination

After my identity was confirmed, I was separated from Ji Lin'an and the others. A nurse led me into one of the hospital's entrances, while Ji Lin'an and the others went to another entrance. After entering, I heard the sound of a door closing behind me. The nurse, wearing a mask and a nurse's cap, and dressed in a light blue nurse's uniform, led me inside without saying a word. When we reached the door of a room, she said, "Go in. Someone inside will tell you what to do."

I obediently entered. The room wasn't large, and there was no space at the entrance. There was a blue curtain in the middle of the room, blocking out the back of the room. After entering, a nurse came out from the back of the room, holding a blue coat. When she walked up to me, she handed me the coat: "Take off all your clothes, including your shoes. Put them and all your belongings in the locker. Change into this coat and wait here. I'll come to pick you up in a bit."

There were two buttons on the left and right sides of my waist to fasten the front and back of the fabric together, but even then, it was still almost completely exposed. I suspected that the purpose of these two buttons was just to prevent the fabric from flying around when I walked. I turned around in front of the mirror, puzzled, and couldn't help but feel disgusted. I picked up the garment and my phone and hesitated for a while. Without my phone, I felt completely insecure. Fortunately, my computer was with Ji Lin'an and the others in a safe place. I didn't put my phone in the locker; I held it in my hand.

A little while later, the nurse came back in. She opened the door but didn't come in. Standing in the doorway, she coldly said, "Come with me."

I looked down at my bare feet: "Aren't you wearing shoes?"

The nurse didn't say anything, just shook her head and turned to leave. I quickly chased after her barefoot.
