Watching the group of people run away, Song Yi, An Xin, and I ran towards Ji Lin'an and the others. Recalling the route I saw in the skill, I ran along the route to Ji Lin'an and the others' location, but the place was deserted. There was no sign of Ji Lin'an and the others. We sprinted as fast as we could, our skills were about to cool down, and we ran without daring to waste a moment. Suddenly, Ji Lin'an grabbed us: "Take off your shoes and run that way, our shoes are muddy."
I looked in the direction Ji Linan pointed, which was the main road made of asphalt. We took off our shoes and continued running, finally shaking them off before the invisibility shields fell off.
I led the group toward the place I had agreed upon with Chen Hu, but Ji Lin'an stopped me: "Where are you going?"
I said, "Go find Chen Hu."
Ji Lin'an frowned: "Where are Wu Feng and the others?"
I said, "They're in an underground shelter. Chen Hu helped us distract Zhu Chen and the others so we could go and rescue you. Now go find Chen Hu."
Ji Lin'an nodded and continued walking: "I guessed you would be in the underground shelter."
I laughed and said, "So you two went all the way over there? Did you find Zhu Chen and the others?"
Ji Lin'an shook his head: "I didn't find anything. We can't use our skills because we lost our phones. I guessed that Zhu Chen and the others might be waiting for us outside the zombie horde, so I deliberately took the other exit and went a bit further away."
I asked, "Are there any other exits?"
Ji Lin'an nodded: "Yes, the zombie horde actually has many entrances and exits, but each entrance only corresponds to one exit. We can only exit from the designated exit, whichever entrance we go in through. We walked 500 meters forward from the entrance and came out through another exit, which is near where you found us."
I nodded to indicate that I understood. When I arrived at the place I had agreed upon with Chen Hu, I did not find him. Instead, I found him in the bushes not far away. Chen Hu was lying on the ground, clutching his arm, his hand covered in blood, which was already seeping out from between his fingers. I quickly went over to check on him. Chen Hu opened his eyes in pain and said, "You've come."
Seeing Chen Hu's weak state and the blood all over his body, Ji Lin'an came over and squatted down: "He probably has more than one wound, Chen Hu, where else are you injured?"
Chen Hu smiled weakly, "It seems to be on my back."
