Chapter 113 Mental Chaos
"What intermediate form?" At first, Qiao Mei didn't understand what Ao Cang was talking about, until he explained it more clearly, and she realized that he was referring to the intermediate form of his beast form.
“I do want to, but changing now would definitely be bad for your health. Let’s wait until you’re healthier.” Qiao Mei waved her hand, pushed a small pile of interstellar coins she had prepared in front of Ao Cang, and closed her eyes to begin praying.
After Ao Cang accepted the interstellar coins, transformed into a cute little boy, and lay down on the bed while she helped him cover himself with the blanket, she remembered an important question.
She turned off the lights and looked at him in the darkness, asking, "You're asking this all of a sudden, is it because I glanced at Jingjing a few too many times last night?"
Ao Cang's thoughts were exposed, and two blushes appeared on her face. She buried her head deeper into Qiao Mei's arms and denied it in a muffled voice: "No, I was just asking casually."
His behavior clearly showed he was lying, but Qiao Mei didn't call him out on it; instead, she found him incredibly cute.
After giving a soft "hmm," I pulled the blanket tighter around him and, holding him close, drifted off to sleep.
........
The next morning, Qiao Mei's biological clock rang as usual, and the clothes she had bought for Xu Heyu the day before arrived.
She glanced at the little black dragon who seemed to still be sleeping, then tiptoed out of bed. After a quick wash, she went to the door to get her clothes, still in her pajamas.
Xu Hui was still asleep, and the whole villa was very quiet, with only the chirping of birds outside.
Qiao Mei opened the door, signed for the package with her fingerprint, and then unpacked the clothes she had bought. She planned to have Xu Heyu try them on, and if they fit, she would put them in the washing machine to wash.
"Knock knock..."
"Xu Heyu, you're awake..."
Before she could even utter the word "ma," Qiao Mei realized that she had already knocked the door open.
I glanced at the door lock; it was a bit rusty, so it was probably broken and couldn't be locked in the first place.
After awkwardly scratching her face, Qiao Mei was about to close the door and knock again to avoid appearing too impolite.
But before I could turn it off, I heard a series of footsteps.
After waiting for a while, we realized that it was Little White Wolf Chasing the Wind who had caused it.
It ran to the doorway, its wolf eyes filled with anxiety: "Master's mental energy has gone into chaos, I can't wake him up no matter how I call him!!"
Qiao Mei was stunned: "Mental power disorder? Isn't that something only people above the Saint Beast Venerable level can experience? I remember Xu Heyu's strength is only at the Saint Beast Apprentice level three, right?"
Zhui Feng was extremely anxious. When he used his wolf mouth to bite the hem of Qiao Mei's nightgown, he explained, "But the master's mental strength is at S. Mental strength at S and above will have this situation. This does not limit strength."
Qiao Mei didn't understand this, so she could only follow Zhui Feng inside, asking anxiously as she went, "No, how can I help him? Can I just call out to him?"
Zhui Feng: "Yes, usually in this situation, as long as we wake him up, he can drink the recovery fluid to help him recover. When similar situations happened before, that's how I asked someone to help wake up my master."
After hearing Zhui Feng's words, Qiao Mei calmed down a bit and followed it around a cabinet until she arrived at the location where Xu Heyu was.
He was lying in bed, his forehead drenched in cold sweat, and his face was deathly pale.
Although the sunlight shone through the window onto him, it did nothing to dispel the chill that enveloped him.
"No......."
As the young man murmured in anguish, large patches of blood appeared in his mind, and his reason was on the verge of collapse.
He felt as if he were walking on thin ice, the surface of which was cracked into the shape of a spider web, and it was only a matter of time before he completely fell through.
But at that very moment, he felt as if he had touched an invisible warmth, a warmth that gave him a boost just as he was about to fall into the water, pulling him back to life.
"Xu Heyu, are you awake? If you are, let go of me..." Qiao Mei said this almost through gritted teeth, because she had just followed Zhui Feng to Xu Heyu's bedside, and after only pushing his body and calling his name twice, her right hand was suddenly grabbed and pulled towards where he was.
If she hadn't reacted quickly and grabbed the wooden edge of the bed, she probably would have been pulled onto the bed.
But Xu Heyu was incredibly strong; even if she managed to grab him, it was extremely difficult for her to keep herself from being carried away by his strength.
Seeing that he had finally woken up, Qiao Mei breathed a deep sigh of relief.
Xu Heyu was stunned. Before she could say anything, Qiao Mei was thrown backward by inertia. Her elbow, which was exposed from her nightgown, was scraped and fell heavily to the ground.
"Little Rose!!" Upon seeing this, Xu Heyu hurriedly threw off the covers and got out of bed, wanting to help her up, but was stopped by Qiao Mei's right hand standing in front of her. "No, I can get up by myself."
As she spoke, Qiao Mei struggled to get up from the ground. She didn't blame him for making her fall. After patting her nightgown, she asked him how he was feeling.
"If you're still feeling unwell, I'll tell my mother, and she'll take you to the Interstellar Hospital. I'm afraid I can't help you. I also need to take Cangcang to the Sacred Beast Treatment Center today."
"Master, are you alright? You just went into a mental breakdown again!" The little white wolf pulled up Xu Heyu's pajama pants and tried to lick his hand to please him, its beastly eyes full of worry.
"Mental disturbance?" Xu Heyu had just shaken his head and was about to say that he was alright when he heard an unexpected male voice coming from the doorway.
Qiao Mei looked in the direction of the voice and realized that it was Ao Cang.
He was also wearing the same pale yellow pajamas as her pale yellow nightgown, which looked rather cute.
"Cangcang, why did you come down?" Qiao Mei walked up to him, picked up his dragon body, and brushed the dust off his dragon body.
Ao Cang didn't reply to Qiao Mei first. Instead, he looked at Xu Heyu, whose lips were still a little pale. After thinking for a moment, he whispered something in Qiao Mei's ear.
After hearing what he said, Qiao Mei was first surprised, and then her surprise was filled with a complex emotion that was hard to describe.
She wrapped Ao Cang's arms around her neck, not mentioning a word of what he had just said, but repeatedly confirming with Xu Heyu, "Is he alright now?"
"Well, I'll just drink some recovery fluid and I'll be fine. I'm sorry to have worried you. By the way, did you come to see me because of something?"
Qiao Mei then remembered her business. She looked at the clothes she had placed on the table not far away, told him to try them on and see if they fit, and to call her when they were done. Then, with a serious expression, she led Ao Cang out of his bedroom.
As soon as they went outside, she pursed her lips and asked him nervously, "Who else has he told about this?"
"Is this related to the interstellar card you gave me before that had 30 million interstellar coins?"
Qiao Mei: You little rascal, I've finally caught a clue!
Ao Cang: How dare I speak...
