“Wow, why, why is there another ritual of this level?!”
"Why is this ritual even bigger than the previous one to seal the Northern Emperor's son?!"
"And it's big—so big!"
“I don’t want to go to the ritual!”
"I don't want to stand there like a piece of wood!"
“Wuwuwu——”
In the heavenly realm, in Shinjun Beppu, a young girl struggled to hold onto the wooden pillars that supported Beppu, protesting with a strong sense of unwillingness and full of emotions. Zhinu and Yun Zhiyi looked at their daughter helplessly, not knowing what to say for a moment.
Yun Qin tried to open her eyes wide to make herself look innocent and harmless, and said:
"Mom, I'm going to practice swordplay. Really, I'm not lying to you."
"I'm going to study, okay?!"
The Weaver Girl said simply: "No."
The girl was defeated at once.
Then, thinking that she would never be able to eat sesame cakes, green bean cakes, or any other delicious food again, she felt a lump in her throat and tears welled up in her eyes. She looked at the honest Yun Zhiyi next to her and said, "Dad, my dearest dad, please don't let me go to the ritual, okay..."
Yun Zhiyi was somewhat helpless and said, "This is a ninth-level ritual, and even Yu has to show up."
"How can you not go?"
The girl said with a rather unreasonable but strong voice: "But, since it is the ritual that Yudu came forward to perform!"
"I am just a small immortal. No one will know whether I go or not!"
Yun Zhiyi paused, and for a moment he felt that what the little guy said made some sense.
The thought of letting her go out and playing suddenly occurred to her, but she immediately thought of another piece of news and finally made up her mind to refuse her daughter. She said, "No, you must participate in this ritual and don't try to escape."
Seeing that her father and the old ox, who had always loved her the most, were silent, the girl felt like a frost-bitten eggplant.
He had no choice but to let go of the Jianmu pillar and obediently change his clothes.
Yun Zhiyi was indeed helpless about his daughter's personality.
Could it be that it is because she was spoiled too much, and allowed to grow up freely and come and go as she pleases when she was young, that she developed such a casual personality?
Zhinu frowned slightly and said, "Such a big ceremony, yet you still want to sneak away. Humph, what have you taught your children to be like over the years?"
Yun Zhiyi smiled helplessly, but then thought of something else and said, "I heard that the one to be conferred this time is Zhenwu."
"Martial arts is already extremely high, and if it is added with truth, it is already the highest level of title above the Nine Heavens."
He paused and said, "Do you think it could be that child..."
The Weaver Girl shook her head and said, "Who else could know about such a big ritual in advance, except for a few people?"
"But if it's really him..."
The Weaver Girl paused, recalling what the young Taoist had done, and didn't know what to say.
Yun Zhiyi said: "That's why I want Yun Qin to participate in the ritual."
"If it wasn't such a big deal and I couldn't say anything, I would have lied to her and said that it was Wuhuo who participated in the ceremony today."
"It depends on whether she goes or not."
"I'm looking forward to seeing Yunqin's look when she sees Wuhuo. Hahaha, will she be scared?"
The Weaver Girl gave her husband a helpless look and then looked in the direction the girl left.
To prevent Yunqin from sneaking away again.
The girl sensed her mother's gaze from behind her, and finally sighed, looking dejected.
I had no choice but to prepare to participate in the ceremony obediently.
She was born an immortal, but there was a huge difference in realm between each immortal and every other immortal. It seemed that her own foundation was damaged, and now she was still only at the realm of three flowers gathering at the top of the head. Strictly speaking, she was just an ordinary female immortal in the heaven, and her attire was what ordinary female immortals wore during rituals.
But inside the room, I saw a fairy dress that was as bright as brocade clouds and flowing like purple air. I didn't like this kind of light and fluttering dress.
But she went to look for the old ox, rummaged through the boxes and cabinets, and put on a dashing and sharp outfit again. It could be considered a formal outfit, but she looked more like a sword fairy than a fairy. She picked up the sword that the Weaver Girl had used, and in her heart she complained about the guy who was going to be sealed today.
Why is it as troublesome as Beidizi before?
What are you sealing? Standing there for a long time, you're just like a piece of wood. How boring!
Throwing out the streamers transformed from clouds, the girl this time easily controlled the clouds. She held a sword in one hand, and her clothes were ink-colored with cloud patterns. She had black hair in a high ponytail and looked radiant. At this moment, her parents were no longer star gods, but they were also at the level of True Lords. Although the place where they lived was not directly in the Milky Way like before, it was also a pretty good area.
The girl glanced casually and saw in the distance what seemed to be a new floating mountain with newly built buildings on it.
It doesn't look like a palace that some immortals and gods like.
It does look a bit like a Taoist temple.
Hmm, have any immortals or gods recently built palaces, temples or caves here?
New neighbors?
Who is it? Uncle Niu didn't seem to mention it...
Yunqin was curious and could vaguely hear Uncle Niu calling her over there, so she didn't pay much attention to it. She just turned into a stream of light and flew towards her parents. After meeting up, they all went towards the Lingxiao Palace. The wind blew through the girl's temples and flew to a farther and higher place. If she suddenly raised her sight, she could see from afar that the Lingxiao Palace was located at the highest point in the clouds.
Infinitely high, infinitely vast.
Large masses of auspicious clouds surrounded the Lingxiao Palace, flowing slowly and emitting a golden and sacred glow.
It represents the majesty of Haotian in suppressing all calamities.
From all directions, there were traces of clouds heading towards the Lingxiao Palace. There were lions walking in the clouds, a Taoist priest was sitting sideways on one side, a heavenly general wearing armor, with eyes wide open, but walking in big strides, there were thunders everywhere, and auspicious clouds were changing in various ways, each with its own means, and each moving forward. The girl raised her head and saw a six-tusked white elephant walking in the clouds, and a beautiful Bodhisattva was sitting sideways on the six-tusked white elephant. She seemed to notice the girl's gaze and smiled and nodded.
The old yellow cow greeted him and said, "It's the Buddhist Samantabhadra Bodhisattva."
Only at this moment did Yunqin realize how important this ritual was!
Even Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, who has a strong foundation and is pointing directly to Mahāśravaṇa, appeared. This is a lineage of Buddhism.
The protagonist of this ritual has such an important position!
However, the girl who had always escaped from the rituals to play saw many interesting things this time. The heavenly soldiers and generals were busy, fairies came and went, the Bodhisattvas of Buddhism and the True Lords of Taoism were all here. As for the Great Emperor Buddha, he was not here, but lived somewhere else.
"Hmm... I didn't expect it to be so lively."
"Although the ritual itself is very boring, it doesn't seem to be a big loss to be able to see so many strange gods and mounts. It can be regarded as a broadening of my horizons."
The girl thought about it, and then quietly took out a piece of dessert from her sleeve.
Put it into your mouth quickly.
Then, with the extraordinary speed of drawing a sword, his hands returned to their original position and placed them in front of him.
Graceful and beautiful.
Taking advantage of the fact that no one was paying attention, she quickly took small bites of the snack, feeling the sweetness melting in her mouth. The girl was satisfied, but also a little regretful as she whispered in her heart, "What a pity."
"Wuhuo didn't come."
"Such a big thing is more beautiful and rare than the human world!"
"Hehe, I'll secretly write it down with magic and show him the beautiful things in the sky."
"Hey, he definitely hasn't seen it!"
The girl's fingers hidden in her sleeves slightly pinched a spell and moved it slightly, recording everything she saw.
There were Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and Heavenly Generals. Outside the Lingxiao Palace, there were dozens of Heavenly Marshals, each of them supporting the beams and pillars, holding millstones and banners. On the left and right sides, there were dozens of golden-armored gods, each of them holding halberds and whips, knives and swords, which made the Bodhisattvas and Arhats of Buddhism change their expressions and feel slightly shocked.
There are thirty-three palaces in heaven, and on the ridge of each palace there is a golden beast swallowing up the sky.
There are seventy-two treasure halls, and each hall has a jade unicorn on its pillars.
It can be said that this is the magnificent scene of the Lingxiao Palace in the Heavenly Palace.
But as the girl was watching, she suddenly heard a series of voices coming and sensed a heavy aura. She subconsciously paused and looked up, and saw a man with a cold and dignified demeanor walking by. He was wearing gorgeous clothes, holding a whisk that determined the Tai Chi universe, wearing cloud boots, and a jade pendant on his waist. There was majesty in his brows and law in his actions.
It is none other than the Lord of the Tianshu Court of the Heaven Realm, the one in charge of the Heavenly Court, the Great Lord of Justice.
But he was seen walking leisurely, with the heavenly officials and immortals leading the way in front and the Four Heavenly Kings following behind him.
Very majestic.
But his expression was a little solemn, and he seemed not very happy or pleased.
Yunqin reached out her hand and pulled Uncle Niu beside her, asking curiously, "Uncle Niu, Uncle Niu."
"The Lord of Justice doesn't seem very happy."
"Doesn't he like rituals, either?"
The old ox looked strange.
He certainly knew the reason behind this.
This Great Lord of Justice seemed to have disobeyed the order of the Jade Emperor before. It was obvious that he was a powerful official with sophisticated means. He was a great rank, and was in charge of the Tianshu Court among the three courts in the Heavenly Court. He presided over the laws and regulations of the Heavenly Court, and his status was extremely high. Ordinary immortals and gods were afraid of his cultivation and power, so they all avoided him.
However, part of the reason for his sharp authority is that he is the only high-ranking official under the Jade Emperor.
Some time ago, the first disciple of Shangqing Da Tianzun, Taiyi Jiuku Tianzun, entered the Heavenly Palace.
He was personally named Qinghua Emperor by the Jade Emperor.
After this incident, the position of the Great Lord of Justice as the only high-ranking official directly under the Jade Emperor had become somewhat unstable. Now there was another person with a higher-level title of Nine Heavens who was personally conferred by the Jade Emperor. This meant that the status of the Great Lord of Justice was weakened again. There was no way he could be happy.
In particular, the old ox has unreliable sources of information.
It is said that the Four Heavenly Kings and the Giant Spirit God once quarreled over the title [Wu].
Judging from this, the title of Wu might be prepared by the Great Lord of Justice for his confidant.
No wonder he actually took the initiative to suggest that those who can break the catastrophe are martial artists.
It turns out that it was prepared for our own people.
But now I picked a peach.
Taking all these reasons into account, it would be impossible for the Great Lord of Justice to be in a good mood. The fact that he did not have a gloomy face showed that he had a very good character and excellent qualities. However, I also heard that the Emperor of Beiji Ziwei seemed to be involved in the conferring ceremony this time.
He is one of the most murderous among the Three Pure Ones and the Four Imperial Gods.
No matter what kind of temper the Great Lord of Justice has, he will not come into conflict with the Northern Emperor over this matter.
No matter how unhappy you are, you have to come in person to participate in the ceremony.
Of course, these things could not be told to Yunqin, so she just reached out and patted the girl on the head, saying:
"Children should not ask these questions."
Yunqin had no choice but to stop asking doubtfully.
A group of immortals, Bodhisattvas from the Buddhist kingdom, and many other immortals from the heavenly Thunder Department, Fire Department, Water Department, and Fighting Department have all arrived. The gate to the Lingxiao Palace has just been opened. Yunqin seldom comes to the Lingxiao Palace. She follows her parents and Uncle Niu forward, her eyes sparkling, and she quietly prepares to go back and show off to the young Taoist priest.
As we walked forward, we saw several large pillars, on which were entwined red-bearded dragons with golden scales shining in the sun.
There are also several long bridges, over which are hovering red-crowned phoenixes with colorful feathers.
In front of the Lingxiao Palace is the Pilgrimage Building, where all the gods and Buddhas are. The girl tiptoed to see the fairies wearing crimson gauze clothes, with stars shining brightly; the true practitioners wore lotus crowns, with golden splendor. Jade hairpins and pearl shoes, purple ribbons and gold medals, and heard bursts of crisp sounds. When the golden bells struck and the heavenly drums sounded, the Three Caos stepped forward, and the fairies finally bowed to the Jade Emperor.
The ritual begins!
Grand and vast, every step is the most majestic and solemn ritual.
After the ritual that the girl found most boring but others found grand, the sound of jade chimes resounded through the nine heavens. The old Lord of Heaven held the Jade Book in his hands and recited aloud, echoing between heaven and earth, saying:
"The nine heavens of primordial chaos spread the Dharma as a teaching. Cultivate the truth and realize the truth, save the masses from confusion. For all living beings, eliminate disasters and obstacles."
"Great compassion, great mercy, saving the suffering, breaking the catastrophe with martial arts, seeking the truth and cultivating the truth."
"In compliance with the decree of the Supreme and Most High Jade Emperor of Heaven and Earth, I am conferred the title of Zhenwu."
"Command the Nine Heavens Traveling Envoy to assist the Heavenly Gang North Pole!"
"Conferred the title, Zhenwu Lingying, Fude Yanqing, Benevolent and Righteous, Xieyun Zhenjun!"
The voice of the old Lord of Heaven rose in the midst of the vast ritual and was heard from far away. It was indescribably grand and vast. On the left were the Heavenly Generals holding court, on the right were the Immortal Lords guarding the Emperor. The Buddhist Bodhisattvas Manjusri and Avalokitesvara raised their eyes and raised their palms. The Taoist Taiyi Tianzun smiled, the Lord of Thunder frowned, the Heavenly Concubine held up a palm fan, the Jade Girl held up a fairy scarf, the Pixiu pressed its claws, and the Tenglong exhaled. In this magnificent moment, one glance after another was looking over.
The Jade Emperor clenched his hands subconsciously, with endless expectations in his heart.
The Lord of Mount Tai is in the underworld, and the Lord of Fire has never returned.
I'm finally going to see you...
Zhenwu!!!
Along with the sound of the jade chimes, one gaze after another fell down. The young Jade Emperor on the throne looked over and saw the rolling clouds and the groups of immortals and gods. It was truly magnificent. However, in that formation, the Zhenwu who was supposed to be there did not appear. There was silence for a moment, and even the sound of solemn and elegant music stopped.
There was astonishment and confusion in the eyes of the immortals.
Their eyes met.
There was a faint sound of whispered conversation.
There was a strange sense of silence in this grand ritual. The old Lord had sweat on his forehead and said:
"Please - Zhenwu Lingying, Xieyun Zhenjun!"
"Zhenwu Zhenjun?"
The sound was heard and dissipated into the distance, but there was no response. The clouds were rolling, and the sound was mighty but with a hint of an indescribable atmosphere. The immortals were silent, and there was a dead silence.
The joy and anticipation in the young Jade Emperor's eyes gradually solidified and turned into dullness.
????
Where is my Zhenwu? !
I am so big and so powerful, a real warrior!!!
Where did it go?!
