The old ox's brain has stopped working.
A dazed and confused expression almost appeared on his face, but fortunately, he had traveled all over the human world, the demon world, Buddhism and Taoism, and had rich experience. He was also an old cow skin that had gone through countless hardships and wind and rain, so even though his heart was confused at the moment, his face was still thick and he managed to maintain his expression.
But in an instant, I felt very unhappy and even a little angry.
He was almost about to throw away the precious sword that served as the ceremonial weapon of the celestial star official, and take out the axe to shave the head of the Moonlight Bodhisattva.
Half-teacher of Buddha?
No confusion?!
That little kid?!
ha!
Who the hell are you trying to fool? ! !
Haha, I'm afraid you want to deceive Lao Niu and let Xiao Wuhuo come to you, so that he will end up in trouble.
Originally, you were a good Taoist disciple or a Xuanmen saint. With your understanding, if you practiced hard, you might be able to be called a true lord in the future. But in the end, it would be good. But if you deceived them and sent them to the West, you might even sit on the lotus platform. If this happened, there would be no need to mention the unfathomable Tai Shang Daode Da Zi of the Three Pure Ones.
There is no need to mention the great master Xuandu, who looks increasingly gentle but actually has the priesthood of a god of war like the Emperor of Wuxian Lingguan.
It’s just the old yellow ox’s sworn brother, the big blue ox.
You can take out the bull nose ring.
The old ox was beaten into seventeen or eighteen different positions.
Then he pressed his head and went to the front of Bajing Palace to kowtow and apologize.
Originally, he still had some gratitude for the old monk's last post. If he took it to a big Buddhist temple that worshipped the Medicine Buddha, he could get some money in exchange.
So I thought, if it's not too much, I'll just help out.
But after hearing these words, the trace of affection in the old ox's heart disappeared in the blink of an eye, and he immediately woke up, worried about what these Buddhists would do to the young Taoist priest. So he remained calm, with the same honest and simple face, and a very reliable look, and wondered:
"Taishang Xuanwei? Taishang, doesn't this mean he is a disciple of the Three Pure Ones of Taoism, the Great Daode Datianzun?"
"The moonlight is shining everywhere, you are really joking!"
"Old Yellow Ox is just a demon from the lower world who has achieved enlightenment."
"I was able to wear the skin of a star official because I caused a big fuss in the old monk's house. This is the fate that gave me this opportunity. But even so, I can't get along in the heaven. I just stay in Niu Su every day."
"I hardly go out, I don't have many friends, I'm not very well-informed, and I'm introverted and shy."
"I really don't know the news you want to ask about."
Bodhisattva Moonlight All-Seeing laughed and said, "Is that so?"
The old ox smiled and said, "I don't know yet. What do you want to ask this [Taishang Xuanwei Zhenren]?"
The Bodhisattva of Moonlight replied, "Nothing."
"The teacher finally said, it's a pity to spoil the real person's cup of water, so I brewed a cup of tea under the Bodhi tree in this Buddhist country."
"If you have some free time someday, you can come here and have a cup of tea."
"That's all."
The old ox asked suspiciously, "Is that all?"
Chandni Chuang replied, “That’s all.”
He shook his head and said in a gentle voice, "If the star official can see the Supreme Mysterious Immortal, please inform him. I will keep this cup of tea for him. But now, in accordance with the order of the Buddha, my Pure Lapis Lazuli World will be closed and will not be invited to chat with you in the future."
The Bodhisattva recalled the last narration by his teacher, "The Wonderful Sutra of the Great Mysterious and Immortal Master", and heard the true meaning of the truth of extinction contained therein.
It is not about saving all living beings, but about extinguishing one's own greed, anger, and ignorance.
I recalled the description of Medicine Buddha, where the young Taoist blew out the oil lamp, opened the window, and was covered in moonlight, and I felt something in my heart.
He stood with one hand in front of him, turned around and walked away.
Lotus flowers appeared and disappeared under his feet, and he said in a gentle voice, "Listen to the Master's teachings, listen to the True Man's teachings."
"The moonlight samadhi illuminates the universe, and all beings in the dharma world are forever blessed."
"Blow away greed, anger and ignorance."
"One point is pure and bright."
"The sea of nature is clear, reflecting the mind of Zen everywhere."
The voice gradually faded away, and the Moonlight Bodhisattva also disappeared, leaving only an old ox, looking at this familiar yet unfamiliar place, no longer able to see the clear and brilliant world like pure glass. No one knew what he was thinking or what emotions he had in his heart. He was silent for a long time, smiled carefreely, sighed and said -
"pity."
"pity."
Just a word:
"There are no more lotus seeds as good as these in the world."
Turn around and leave.
And don't look back.
…
Qi Wuhuo stretched out a finger and gently stretched it out. The peacock, which was bald at the moment and had not yet grown long feathers and only had a little fluff, spread its wings and attacked, hitting its beak on the tip of the young Taoist's finger. Its beak was still soft, not as sharp as that of an adult peacock. It didn't hurt, but rather a little itchy.
The boy moved forward a little.
The peacock was knocked to the ground.
But not angry.
He just got up and continued to "wrestle" with the young Taoist's fingers and play with great interest.
Sometimes it makes unpleasant sounds.
But you can hear the excitement.
It seemed that because it had been growing in the eggshell for more than three hundred years, or because it was not an ordinary creature but a spiritual bird, it did not seem like ordinary birds that could not even open their eyes when they were born and had to be fed for three to five days. Instead, it was extremely lively and it was covered with fur only half a day after it finished eating the eggshell.
A single hair on the top of its head stands up, making it look somewhat silly.
Not only that.
Very good appetite.
Qi Wuhuo's spiritual sense sensed the words emanating from the little fellow's spirit, and they were as follows:
What is this! Vegetable leaves? Crisp and tender, delicious!
What is this?! Millet grains? The more you chew, the more delicious it becomes!
What is this?!
Sesame cake?
tasty!
What is this?
Bugs? Ugh! That's nasty!
I want to eat the same thing as Aqi!
So the Taoist boy stretched out his palm and let the little fellow stand in his palm. Then he tore off some of his own sesame cakes for it. Watching it nibble quickly with its wings, the Taoist boy was just surprised and then said with emotion: "Is it so smart? It really is worthy of what Uncle Niu said, a descendant of the Peacock King."
Then the little peacock took big bites of the sesame cake.
The spirit rejoices.
And I naturally accepted this statement.
Mahavira Vajra King!
Okay!
I am Mahakala!
The young Taoist fingered the feather growing on the top of the bird's head, which made the bird look very stupid and funny, and said with a smile: "It is a descendant, do you understand?"
So the little peacock was very happy——
And still with the innocence of a newborn, he added:
"The Peacock Wheel King is my descendant!"
"I understand!"
The young Taoist laughed and shook his head, saying, "Don't say things like that."
The little peacock didn't understand any of this, and was just happily chewing on the worldly food. In a short while, it had eaten half of a cake, which was almost as big as itself. After eating and drinking its fill, it lay in the palm of the Taoist boy's hand and fell into a deep sleep again, as if it was extremely sleepy. But after a short while, it woke up in a daze and started playing again.
And human food seemed unable to fully satisfy its needs, and it soon became hungry.
The young Taoist thought of something and said with a smile, "It just so happens that the things Uncle Niu prepared have not been used yet."
He took out a jade bottle from the secret pocket inside his sleeve.
To prevent taking the wrong one.
After confirming it several times, it was indeed the jade bottle with the words "Nine-headed Lion Yuanzun Holy Spirit" written on it.
Well, you got it right.
This is the order written by Uncle Niu, and this should be the weakest one.
So he said, "This is given to you by Uncle Niu. It should be able to make up for some of the losses you have suffered over the past three hundred years. These are just ordinary ones, from weak to strong, step by step. This is the first bottle, you try it first." The young Taoist pointed to the jade bottle. This kind of one-time seal only needs to inject a stream of vital energy into the key part, which will cause it to lose its original balance and collapse on its own.
The jade bottle collapsed, and the aura was stirring, faintly threatening to burst out.
Transformed into a nine-headed lion.
Raise your head and roar, feeling as if you are swallowing up the sun and the moon.
Qi Wuhuo was slightly surprised and realized something was wrong.
But the little peacock was already very excited and impatient, filled with the curiosity of a newborn creature about the world.
It is so agile that it does not seem like a bird.
The wings, with only a thin layer of fluff, held up the jade bottle.
The mouth is deep in the bottle.
The breath that had not yet taken shape as a physical entity, although its spirituality had been wiped out, still raised its head and roared.
The peacock's feathers are all blown up!
It seems to be swollen all over.
Then I was filled with confidence, a kind of confidence that a newborn calf is not afraid of a tiger.
I am the Peacock Wheel King!
I--
Invincible!
It yelled at the green aura in a very unpleasant way and "cursed" back.
And then exert force.
Raise your neck.
Gulp!
He directly swallowed the dark green aura that had not yet transformed into a nine-headed lion.
Then he closed his eyes, lay back, and fell into a deep sleep.
Qi Wuhuo was startled and reached out to touch it. He realized that the little peacock had fallen asleep for some unknown reason, and there was no problem with its vitality and essence, and its soul was stable. He finally felt relieved. At this moment, the wooden box on his waist suddenly made a buzzing sound. Qi Wuhuo was startled and took off the wooden box. When he opened it, he found that it was the bronze mirror.
But at this moment, this bronze mirror, which was originally covered with rust and looked mottled, seemed to be slightly different.
The young Taoist saw that the rust on the mirror was gradually dissipating, revealing a cold dark color, as vast as the sky. He felt that he could transmit vital energy into it, but before he could try, suddenly the mirror began to glow, and countless lights gathered together to transform into the face of a beautiful girl.
Qi Wuhuo was just getting closer to take a look, and the girl over there habitually moved closer with the mirror in her hand.
Instead, it looks like the two faces are very similar.
Yunqin screamed and subconsciously threw the mirror away.
Then he was stunned for a moment, picked up the mirror again, patted his chest, took a long breath, and said:
"Wuhuo, you came so close that you scared me..."
The young Taoist smiled and said, "I was looking at this mirror just now, and it seems to have changed a little bit. Yunqin, do you know?"
The girl shook her head and said, "I don't know. I just know that this was a gift from my mother when she got married."
"Ah, let's not talk about this. I've tried the osmanthus cake before. It's delicious!"
She praised it fervently for a whole cup of tea, then took out a wooden box and said:
"I prepared some preserved fruits that I made myself, and I'll have Uncle Niu send them to you using the altar. I used good peaches, but unfortunately I can't get into the Peach Garden, so I had to use other peaches. But they taste great, crisp, tender, and juicy. After being made into preserved fruits, they are chewy and sour, which is very suitable to neutralize the sweetness of the osmanthus cake."
The young Taoist thanked him.
The girl waved her hand and said, "You're welcome."
Then he just sat there, staring at the young Taoist in front of him with his eyes wide open.
Today she was wearing a light red dress and a double-ring hairpin, which seemed to be braided by a maid, and there was a little cinnabar on her forehead.
She is less handsome than before, but more gentle.
It is very much like the image of a girl you would see during the Lantern Festival, when everyone is happy, wearing a pair of light-colored embroidered shoes, holding a palace lantern, walking across the bridge, with the stars in the sky, the world of mortals, and the ripples in the water reflecting all the light, like a dreamlike glimpse.
Now that he had finished praising the Taoist priest, he just sat there, staring at the young Taoist priest with wide eyes.
He didn't say anything, just stared at him.
Qi Wuhuo was stunned.
Then he seemed to have noticed something and couldn't help but chuckle. He put down the Taoist scripture he was reading and said gently, "I heard that there are sesame cakes in the city. They are made of dough, and the fillings are made of good sesame and sugar. Then they are baked. The crust is crispy. When you bite it, the crust will break apart, and then the hot sesame filling will flow into your mouth. It tastes very good. I want to..."
"want to!"
The girl's voice rose slightly.
She came closer, her eyes sparkling.
The young Taoist paused and replied, "Then I'll give it to you next time."
"good!"
"I'll prepare a return gift, too!"
"Ah, return gift, speaking of this, I almost forgot."
After the girl was satisfied, she raised her hand and patted her forehead. She searched for a long time and explained as she searched:
"I gave the sweet-scented osmanthus cake you gave me to a lazy uncle before."
"Oh, of course I can't tell you where he is."
"But he likes it very much, and he should like you too."
"Let me bring you a return gift."
“Ah, I found it!”
Yunqin took out a book and said, "It's very mysterious. I can't understand it."
"Wuhuo, can you understand?"
She shook the book -
This book looks unremarkable.
