Chapter 113: Immortal Palace, Taoist Family with Longevity

It’s time to go down the mountain…

Qi Wuhuo looked at the vast world in front of him, his mind was clear and peaceful. Shangqing Daojun raised his hand and put it on his shoulder, laughing and said: "But before that, let's spend this New Year's Day with your master first. During this time, I will teach you to practice. Once you enter the world, you will not know the seasons. When we meet again one day, you may not know when it will be."

Then he lowered his voice and said:

"If you slip away now, Taiyi will turn around and drag your master back to heaven."

"It would be too boring to go to heaven and live with those rigid and dogmatic guys. Wuhuo, you have to take good care of this matter for me."

Shangqing Da Daojun was most troubled by that serious disciple, and now thinking about it, he also had a headache.

The young Taoist seemed to be familiar with his teacher's personality and felt helpless, so he just nodded.

Time passed by like flowing water and smoke. In just a few days, it was over before you could grasp it. The New Year was coming. Even on this mountain, you could still buy some items commonly used for the New Year and put up a few couplets, especially in front of the door of the Three Pure Ones. Each of them put up a pair of couplets, which seemed to be showing off their talents. On the surface, it seemed that no one was convinced by the other, but in fact, it was a rare thing for the three Taoists to have something that could arouse their interest in their long lives.

The three Taoist ancestors changed several couplets in succession, and each of them was unwilling to accept the result. Finally, it was Tai Shang who took out a couplet.

Although his status was a little lower, his tone was quite arrogant and he won the praise of Yuqing and Shangqing.

On New Year's Eve, Qi Wuhuo sat on the top of a mountain, watching the magnificent scenery from afar, and painted what he saw. He then wrote inscriptions from Master Xuandu and Fuxi on it. Master Xuandu was fine, he just wrote a few words, briefly describing his current situation.

He wrote with great restraint, and when he wrote each word it was as if he had thousands of words that he wanted to pour out, but all the words kept turning around in his mind. In the end, he ended up writing simply, without mentioning anything about his own realm, or that he had fallen in a great catastrophe. He only said that everything was fine, and he was waiting for Queen Nuwa to return.

Immediately, he was grabbed by Fuxi.

Master Xuandu wrote slowly and with restraint.

But Fuxi was like a vast ocean, pouring out. Looking at his appearance, it seemed that he was planning to write densely and fill the painting. If he had not been discovered by the great master Xuandu, he really wanted to turn this painting into a letter of his own, filled with 35,000 mosquito-sized words.

"Fuxi!!! Let go!!!"

"Give it to me, let go!!!"

Master Xuandu was furious.

He wanted to let Queen Nuwa see the scenery of the human world, so he controlled his emotions. However, who knew that the space he left empty was actually occupied by Fuxi. If he had known this earlier, he might as well have filled it up himself!

Finally, the scroll with the remembrance and blessings from Fuxi and Master Xuandu fell into the hands of the young Taoist.

The human Qi in his body just turned, and on the scroll, which seemed like an ordinary thing before, there began to be traces of real breath, flowing and changing, making the mountains, rivers and people in the scroll all look real. Qi Wuhuo held the scroll in his hand, and with the help of the three teachers, he looked inside again, and handed the painting and the New Year's gift to the Queen Mother Nuwa.

His own Taiyi body has already achieved some success, and his inner fetus has been opened. It is much easier for him to walk and survive in the world of annihilation than before. Queen Wa was curious about why he came, but the young Taoist did not answer. He just moved his wrist, and the scroll in his hand suddenly unfolded. Under the rise of human Qi, the light on the scroll suddenly spread out.

The red lanterns gathered together like a long dragon, surrounding the Queen Wa. The illusion of children holding lanterns was running. Above the black night, bunches of fireworks rose up, reflecting layers of brilliant light in the woman's eyes. However, the brilliance of the fireworks was far less eye-catching than the children's smiles.

This made Queen Nuwa's expression unconsciously become gentler.

The voice is soft and gentle:

"Thank you..."

"Tell me, my brother is going to save me, right? He still has to rely on the luck of the world to fight for me."

"Child, come here."

Queen Wa waved to the young Taoist to come closer, then reached out and stroked his shoulder, whispering something in a gentle voice.

Qi Wuhuo looked slightly surprised, then looked at Queen Wa with a complicated expression at first, then nodded seriously and said:

"I see."

Queen Wa smiled slightly, her expression gentle.

Then he looked at the prosperous world in the painting before him, stunned.

In the outside world, Emperor Xi, who was dressed in a green shirt and had gray hair on his temples, narrowed his eyes slightly, as if he had also seen the woman. The corners of his mouth twitched slightly. He stood behind Qi Wuhuo and almost subconsciously reached out his hand forward, but finally retracted it, with his eyes slightly drooped, with a trace of melancholy and sadness.

After a moment, Qi Wuhuo appeared again from Taiyi's annihilation world and slowly opened his eyes.

Fuxi and Xuandu both asked what Queen Wa said, and the young Taoist repeated it to them as promised. To Xuandu, he gave gentle comfort and advice. Regarding Fuxi's words, Qi Wuhuo paused, looked at the scholar in green standing in front of him with his hands behind his back, and said, "Queen Wa said that no matter what you are thinking about now, you must stop."

As soon as these words were spoken, the three Dao Ancestors all looked at him sideways.

Fuxi's eyes rippled, and he said gently: "Oh?"

Qi Wuhuo repeated slowly, "If you, Emperor Xi, insist on your own opinion and want to carry out your plan, Empress Wa said that she would never see you again in this life."

"She would rather perish in that world forever than have you, Emperor Xi, commit countless sins to bring her back."

Fuxi's expression did not change, but everyone could feel the suddenly depressed atmosphere and a hint of sadness on Emperor Xi. His white hair on his temples rose slightly, and he smiled and said, "So that's how it is. Sure enough, although she is a little naive and can't see through other people's schemes, she understands me very well."

"After knowing my purpose and my appearance, you will definitely say something like this."

"According to the most reasonable decision, I shouldn't be here, and I shouldn't let you send a message to him."

"pity……"

The great master Xuandu said:

"I didn't expect that someone with your personality would be so lucky as to not think about it carefully."

"A fluke? No."

Fuxi looked deeply at the young Taoist, as if he saw a familiar figure behind him, and said gently: "I used the strongest innate Bagua and divination to seriously think about it for a moment, and finally decided to say something to her."

Emperor Xi looked deeply at the Taoist in front of him and replied gently, "I know what she wants to say."

The young Taoist didn't know what choice the top existence of the ancient times would make. He just moved his wrist, and the light gathered. He took out the scroll again in his palm, and then slowly unfolded the scroll. The light dissipated, and in the previous blank space, there were rough lines like those in ancient times. In that prosperous world, there were two figures, with human bodies and snake tails, holding hands together.

The bustling world around him was reflected in Emperor Xi's eyes. Qi Wuhuo saw that the man who could not clearly understand what was in his mind had his eyes slightly widened, reflecting the world in this painting.

Qi Wuhuo said softly:

"besides."

"She said, please take good care of the world."

"Say, [Happy New Year, brother]."

Fuxi closed his eyes for a long time, then took the scroll with both hands. His palms gently brushed across the scroll, his palms trembling slightly, and he said gently, "Is that so..."

"I see."

"Wa."

Qi Wuhuo looked at Xi Huang in front of him. For some reason, he suddenly felt his spirit relax. His spirit became lively, and even his body relaxed. He felt as if he had breathed a sigh of relief - as if there had always been an unmatched sharp blade pressing against his back, and he didn't know when it would burst out, push forward, and pierce his heart.

And now, this sword, which was absolutely sharp even in the ancient times and was at least ranked among the top five, seemed to have finally restrained its sharpness and became as harmless and gentle as a precious jade. At this moment, Emperor Xi was not smiling, but it was more reassuring than before when he had a gentle smile on his face.

On the one hand, Queen Wa actually curbed the possible impact and damage that Emperor Xi's layout might cause to the human world.

On the other hand, it protected Qi Wuhuo.

Taishang couldn't help stroking his beard, looking around and sighing: "Hardness cannot defeat softness, it benefits all things, and no one can compete with it; the combined strength of you and me can suppress fellow Daoist Xihuang, but it is difficult to suppress his layout and planning. Speaking of the effect, it seems that it is not as useful as a word from Queen Wa; in the six realms of the world, from ancient times to the present, the only one who can defeat Xihuang is probably her."

"That's all. That's all."

Fuxi was losing interest.

Suddenly, he knocked the young Taoist on the forehead without being polite. Unlike his previous gentle attitude, he immediately raised his hand to rub his head and said gently and helplessly: "Really, you stinky boy number two, did you just read the words on this painting? I tell you, if you dare to spread rumors about what happened today, I will bury you in a pit and leave only your head to breathe."

Gentle yet most poisonous, and not polite.

Fuxi waved his hand, turned and left, and mentioned the little guy by the way.

The Supreme stroked his beard and sighed, "If that's the case, Wuhuo doesn't have to worry about him."

"Um."

Looking down from the top of the mountain, in the past, all the lights would have been turned off at nightfall, but today it was bustling with activity. The red lanterns illuminated all directions, looking like clusters of flames, making people feel warm in their hearts. The little medicine spirit was taken back by the group of people in green shirts.

Previously, it followed a few Taoists to look at some couplets and had a lot of fun. It also tried to write one, but its writing was crooked and never looked good or had no rhythm. However, despite this, it still had a lot of fun and was very happy. Now that it was brought back, it was still thinking seriously about something.

The man in green shirt understood what it meant and said, "Want to write couplets? Want to post them yourself in the future? Do you think it's very stylish? Ha, you didn't learn the good things from those three, but you learned these things that were different from each other very quickly-"

He stretched out his hand and patted the little medicine spirit, dispersing all the backup plans that had helped him and Qi Wuhuo to break through the Five Qis Converging to the Origin inner world.

Originally, the young Taoist was capable of breaking through on his own. What Fuxi did was to leave a little backup in Qi Wuhuo's inner world to ensure that the battle between Buddhism and Taoism could reach the level he needed. Now all of them were removed. Seeing that the medicine spirit was still holding a pen and clamoring for couplets, Fuxi simply reached out and pulled out a couplet from the many couplets written by the Three Pure Ones. He just glanced at it casually and handed it to the little medicine spirit.

"Here, this one is for you. Don't worry, I'll ask those three guys for it for you later."

Xiao Yaoling was innocent and pure in character. She was very happy holding the couplet in her hands.

He recited the name in a babyish voice, saying, "The immortal palace of immortality, the Taoist family with a longevity equal to the heaven?"

"Immortality, as long as the heavens?"

Fuxi smiled slightly, and suddenly realized something. He raised his eyes slightly and looked into the distance, but saw the clear Buddha light coming at an extremely fast speed. He raised his eyebrows and said, "Oh? A guest is coming..."

The Three Pure Ones also noticed the person coming.

They looked at each other and did not intend to get involved in this matter. They swept their whisks and were at ease, disappearing from the world. With their levels of cultivation and means, not to mention with mortal eyes, even with the eyes of all dharmas, they could not see the slightest difference. The same was true for the first disciple of the Three Pure Ones, who also left as if nothing had happened.

Qi Wuhuo heard his teacher's instructions, and with a wave of his sleeves, he collected all the objects here. He raised his head and looked into the distance, and saw a ray of Buddha's light flowing and golden clouds spreading towards him.

Above the clouds, a Bodhisattva with a gentle face stood peacefully.

It is Guanyin.

Guanyin Bodhisattva spent many tricks to find out where the young Taoist went from the gods of mountains and rivers. He came all the way to find him. He greeted him immediately. The Taoist invited the Bodhisattva to come down from the clouds and have a cup of tea in the yard. He asked about his purpose. Guanyin Bodhisattva put his hands together, looked solemn, and said:

"I came here to express my gratitude and to learn about the great changes in the human world, so I came here to look for you."

"If it weren't true..."

He almost subconsciously wanted to say the name of Zhenwu Lingying, but when he thought that this Taoist did not deserve this name, he stopped himself abruptly, but still said respectfully and politely:

“If it weren’t for the layman’s guidance, I would have been almost blinded by it until now.”

"I have no words to thank you for your great kindness to my Buddhist sect. If you have any instructions in the future, I will definitely do my best to repay you."

The young Taoist shook his head and said, "It's just a small favor, no need..."

"Oh? In that case, I can exchange this cause and effect for that cause and effect, or even a promise."

"Hahaha, in that case, since my second nephew doesn't want to, I, as his uncle, will speak up for him."

A voice interrupted Qi Wuhuo's words. An elbow lazily rested on the young Taoist's head. The scholar in a green shirt with gray hair smiled and said gently, "Does this Bodhisattva mind?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva glanced at Qi Wuhuo and said, "Layman, please feel free to speak."

Fuxi smiled and said: "This promise is——"

"If one day, the disciples of Fangcun Mountain fall into the Buddhist sect, you must do it at all costs."

"Help them return to the Tao."

"But they cannot be enlightened to return to Buddhism."

"How? Can you do it?"

The scholar in green robe spoke gently, his temples unconsciously turned much paler, his eyes sparkled, as if he could see through eternity, reflected in the eyes of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, which made the future Bodhisattva who would achieve the first place feel a little cold in his heart, and then with a great bright heart and a great fearless heart, he put his hands together and replied: "I agree."

"good."

The scholar in green changed his original intention of promoting the Buddhist path at all costs. If it doesn't work this time, then he will do it next time. He clapped his hands and sighed, "As expected of you, the Tathagata, the King of Mountains that has all the merits."

With five fingers slightly spread out, a stream of light turned into a piece of letter paper, which fell in front of Guanyin Bodhisattva and said:

"But I don't believe in promises."

Guanyin Bodhisattva lowered her eyes gently and responded to the letter with her soul.

Fuxi walked away lazily.

Qi Wuhuo looked at the Bodhisattva in front of him and said, "Then, may I ask the second question, what is the reason for the great change in the world?"

Guanyin clasped her hands together, looking solemn:

"Crown Prince Li Hui, with the help of the Buddhas, ascended the throne and became emperor."
