Chapter 123: How about killing them all?

"Shangqing Dongxuan Zhenjun?"

The four Bodhisattvas looked surprised, and they looked at each other, seeing astonishment in each other's eyes. Although Shangqing Lingbao Daojun was the Taoist Patriarch, one of the Three Pure Ones, and had the highest status, his personality and style were very different from the other two Taoist Patriarchs.

Jade Pure Yuanshi Tianzun has a solemn and dignified personality and he does not have many disciples. Every disciple has to go through layers of tests before they can be admitted. After being admitted, they are informed of the six realms and then follow their teacher into the Jade Void Palace in Daluo Heaven, where they are strictly taught and their foundation is laid.

It takes at least several hundred years of practice, and at most a thousand years. Once the foundation is laid, all the skills of cultivation will be complete.

Only then was he allowed to go down the mountain and travel.

For example, the Jade Purity Taixuan Zhenren and the Fire Yao Dongyang Emperor.

However, he practiced in Daluo Heaven for a thousand years before being allowed to come out. As soon as he came out, he made a stunning debut.

As for the Tai Shang lineage, they are the most easy-going. During these long years between action and inaction, the only one who truly entered the sect and obtained the name of Xuan Dao, apart from the great master Xuan Du, was the Tai Shang Xuan Wei Zhenren.

The Great Lord of Shangqing has a willful temperament. When he accepts disciples, he does not conduct as many tests as Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun, nor does he attach as much importance to the character of his disciples as Taishang Daozu. When he accepts disciples, he just follows fate.

If I like him, I will teach him for a period of time.

Once your temper is gone, you never know when it will disappear.

This resulted in the Shangqing lineage having many and diverse disciples, with good and bad disciples being extremely mixed. It was only recently that the situation improved after Taiyi Jiuku Tianzun returned and reorganized the Shangqing lineage. And because there were so many Shangqing disciples, even these Bodhisattvas did not know who this Shangqing Dongxuan Zhenjun was for a while.

After looking at each other in bewilderment, Guanyin Bodhisattva put his hands together and asked, "Forgive me for being so presumptuous."

"I wonder how the strength of this Shangqing Dongxuan Zhenjun compares to that of the real people?"

Compared to me?

Qi Wuhuo paused for a moment, and could only reply, "I have never fought with him."

"But his strength is by no means inferior to mine."

"As for his decisiveness in killing, he is even better than me."

The Bodhisattvas looked at each other and saw the surprise in each other's eyes - Taishang Xuanwei Zhenren was already a true Taoist practitioner who had broken through the catastrophe. If in his eyes, the killing decisiveness of Shangqing Dongxuan Zhenjun was even better than his, then the methods of Dongxuan Zhenjun were indeed terrifying.

Qi Wuhuo said in a gentle voice: "Please leave the location of that temple for me."

"I'll let him know so I can."

"That's how it should be. Thank you, Master Xuanwei."

Guanyin Bodhisattva took out a scroll with ancient traces on it. It was actually a map. The terrain and directions of the mountains could be identified. On the top of a mountain surrounded by mountains, there was a temple with a circle drawn in cinnabar ink. Next to it was a line of text:

【Landara Monastery】.

It means: compassion for all living beings, love to give, praise their virtues, and be known for their generosity. Therefore, the galan is named after it.

It occupies a huge area, the buildings are extremely majestic, and the Buddha statues in the temple are extremely sacred and majestic.

It is already the largest temple in the world of Jiuzhou. Its expansion was supported by the king's promise and human resources. There is no doubt that many Bodhisattvas and Vajras participated in it. Qi Wuhuo identified the location, memorized it, and then returned it to Guanyin Bodhisattva, saying gently: "I already know about this matter. I will inform Shangqing Dongxuan later and let him go to see it."

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Maitreya Bodhisattva, Manjusri and Samantabhadra all looked slightly relaxed, put their hands together and bowed deeply.

Qi Wuhuo invited them to stay here for a while and had a vegetarian meal, but the four Bodhisattvas did not agree. They just said, "Many fellow practitioners have been blinded by desires and have obscured their own spiritual wisdom, affecting the common people. As fellow Buddhists, we should have stopped them, but we only regret that we are powerless. One hour, divided into two hours, is still not enough. How can we stay here for a long time?"

"Thank you for asking, Master."

Qi Wuhuo asked them where they were going next?

Guanyin Bodhisattva clasped his hands together and said, "The time agreed with the Supreme Pure Land Master is three days from now. We plan to go and look for friends, or exchange, or trade, to buy some useful Xuanmen magic weapons to restrain the Taizokai Mandala Seal."

Seeing their determined expressions, which were obviously sincere and not just polite, Qi Wuhuo stopped trying to persuade them to stay. They went out and stood under the ancient building of the treasury. The wind blew past, and the bells under the eaves vibrated and made a crisp sound. The young Taoist asked, "Bodhisattvas, there is still one thing I don't understand."

Guanyin Bodhisattva stopped and turned around, with a gentle look, and asked, "What else do you want, Master?"

Qi Wuhuo smiled, looked into the distance, and spoke calmly, seemingly nonchalantly: "These monks have abandoned the Buddhist principles, harmed the destiny of the common people, and acted recklessly without caring whether their actions would bring disaster to the lives of the common people. It is natural to stop them, but I don't know to what extent Shangqing Dongxuan has done this. Do you think it is reasonable?"

To what extent… ?

The expressions of the four Bodhisattvas paused.

For some reason, this ordinary question carries a hint of bloodiness that lingers.

Manjusri Bodhisattva remained silent, then asked earnestly: "Excuse me, Master, what does this sentence mean?"

"Just asking you guys."

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva asked: "So, what do you think the level will be?"

The young Taoist paused. He looked at the sky in the distance, and at the world gradually returning to peace under the sky, and replied: "I am not the Supreme Lord of the Pure Land, so I don't know what he would do. I can only give you an example, for example..."

The young Taoist paused for a moment, then said:

"How about killing them all?"

? !!

Kill them all!

The expressions of the four Bodhisattvas suddenly froze.

It seems that I can already see the bloody scenes before my eyes.

And this problem, which they subconsciously ignored and avoided, was placed so directly in front of them.

Yes, to what extent?

This question, at this moment, opened up the warm discussion just now, became extremely sharp, and pierced into the deepest part of my heart!

Guanyin, Manjusri, Samantabhadra, and Maitreya all had froze expressions.

It is wrong for many bodhisattvas and monks to do such things for the sake of the Dharma, but what should be done? Should we kill them all, cut off their souls, scatter their blood and flesh, and cut off the Dharma lineage?

Can they, who are also Buddhists, accept such behavior?

Even if they are prepared to die in Nirvana for the sake of the people, if their requests for help result in tens of thousands of monks being reduced to ashes overnight and turned into piles of bones, wouldn't they feel a dull pain and regret, and fall into confusion and suffering, unable to extricate themselves?

The Taoist in front of them was looking at them calmly. The world came and went, but the Tao was always in front of them. He seemed to become extremely tall and profound. The words he spoke were faintly pointing directly to the most secretive, dark, most fearful part of their hearts, which they subconsciously ignored. Then he brought out the weak, evasive part that they were unwilling to think about and placed it in front of them.

Then, question your true heart!

Such a simple question, but it was like a loud bell, shaking the soul!

There was a moment of silence, but it seemed to last for a very long time.

Manjusri Bodhisattva put his hands together in a salute, and said word by word: "When a righteous person practices evil, the evil becomes righteous; when an evil person practices righteous, the righteous becomes evil."

“Everything is created by the mind.”

"Even though they practice Buddhism, they are still following evil ways. They are evil spirits. They should be suppressed! They should be killed!"

Samantabhadra replied: "Delusions of right and wrong are of the same nature, empty, differentiated false appearances, the wonderful mind manifests itself as a shadow."

“Although everything is empty in nature, it has also been distinguished between good and evil. Just as when people practice cultivation, their thoughts are distinguished between good and evil. They should eliminate the evil and correct the evil, and all troubles and fears will disappear. This is how it should be.”

Maitreya Bodhisattva sighed and said, "It is said that when the Buddha is angry, he roars like a lion."

Guanyin Bodhisattva looked at the gentle young Taoist in front of him, clasped his hands together, and said sincerely:

"Thank you for your enlightenment, Master."

The young Taoist smiled and said, "What is Guanyin talking about?"

"I don't know."

The four Bodhisattvas were all impressed. Maitreya was the first to put his hands together and bowed to the young Taoist with the etiquette of a half-teacher.

The other Bodhisattvas also bowed.

The young Taoist did not avoid it, but just accepted the guidance of this half-master. Although these Bodhisattvas had the intention to fight against all Buddhas and save all living beings, they still had some hesitations hidden in their hearts. Qi Wuhuo put this point directly in front of them, which could be regarded as breaking through the confusion in their hearts and letting them face this problem directly -

When faced with the law that you have always believed in, can you still be clear-headed and decisive?

What Qi Wuhuo had never expected was that each of these four Bodhisattvas actually crossed this level within just a stick of incense.

"They are all geniuses."

Qi Wuhuo couldn't help but admire in his heart.

He was able to bring this up, not because his realm was much higher than the four Bodhisattvas in front of him, to the level where he could directly instruct them, but because these four Bodhisattvas were "in the same mountain", and could not always see as clearly as outsiders. Maitreya Bodhisattva could not help but laugh, and while laughing he patted his chest and said, "Ah, Taishang Xuanwei Zhenren, you are really..."

"You said something like this just to test my sincerity. You have such murderous intent. It scared me!"

"Kill them all. This joke is really too scary."

The Taoist priest, who was wearing an ordinary light grey Taoist robe and had a gentle expression, just smiled and did not answer.

After the four Bodhisattvas were enlightened, they no longer had any worries in their hearts. After bidding farewell to the young Taoist, they all flew away on clouds and mist, but they went to the heaven to find people to exchange magic weapons, elixirs and talismans, in order to make the final preparations for the battle in the Nalanda Temple. Qi Wuhuo watched them go away, and finally retracted his gaze, watching the comings and goings of the world, and murmured: "A joke...?"

He said to himself, "Who knows?"

His eyes scanned the world, pausing at one spot to see a petite figure in a cloak.

After a quick calculation, he was able to uncover the origin of this Little Dragon Girl.

Concealing the Qi, disguising, or changing one's true form, to him, a true disciple of the Three Pure Ones, they are all like nothing.

The ever-changing world is too much for my eyes.

See through all calamities, break through all dharmas, all confusions, and do not cling to them in your heart.

It is for——

【Tianmu Method】

This is the magical power that the young Taoist master gradually developed by tracing back the cause and effect subconsciously after he obtained the true teachings of cause and effect from Jade Pure Yuanshi Tianzun. Although it is only in its infancy, it can also see through cause and effect. Once it is fully developed, no matter whether it is the changes in cause and effect, the energy and destiny, or the ever-changing changes, they can all be seen at a glance.

So the young Taoist now has learned everything.

One is the millions of transformations from the orthodox Three Pure Ones, and the other is the divine power of the Third Eye that one has explored by oneself, which is specifically designed to overcome changes.

One is the Nine-Transformation Mysterious Origin Physique of the Supreme Alchemy Art, the other is the [Xuan Dou Li Ji] of the Twelve True Transmissions of Jade Purity.

They are all unrivaled in fighting and have extraordinary physiques.

In the end, it seems that they can become two seemingly similar but mutually restraining practice systems.

Both of them can change into thousands of forms, both of them have strong physiques. One is good at transforming into another form and can change into thousands of forms; the other is good at detecting changes and defeating the enemy in an instant. It's quite interesting. At this moment, under the rudimentary method of his, the little Dragon Girl's technique of changing mist into light is totally useless and is detected in an instant.

The young Taoist was surprised and asked, "Why are you coming at this time..."

"Forget it, forget it. I'll let you play outside for a while. The calamity energy is too heavy during this time, and it's not suitable for you to stay around me..." The young Taoist turned around, his Taoist robe was clean, with a whisk on his arm, and he walked into the storage room step by step.

Hiding in the crowd, Xiao Long Nu let out a long breath, patted her chest, and watched the young Taoist leave. She shook her body, and the dragon scales on her body seemed to be popping out. She hugged herself with both hands, shook her body several times, and said, "Hey!!! What's wrong with that little Taoist? How come he gave me chills just by looking at me?!"

"He's obviously just a little Taoist priest, how come he seems more terrifying than those white-bearded ancestors of famous sects?"

While Qi Wuhuo was waiting for the old green ox, the four Bodhisattvas went to their familiar friends without stopping, using their own unnecessary treasures as collateral and borrowed many magic weapons, all of which were prepared for the [Nalanda Monastery]. Their purpose was to accomplish the task in one go. After discussing with each other, the four Bodhisattvas reached the same conclusion.

"It's time to go find the donor, Niu Jinniu."

"Only him."

"He is the only one who is willing to help me and me without fear of being held accountable and yet has so many other things."

The four Bodhisattvas eventually went to the heavens to look for the golden ox. They all looked solemn, "Even if the Supreme Mysterious Wei Zhenren came forward and the Supreme Purity and Profound Daoist Lord took action, you and I cannot put all our hopes on them. One, this is a matter of Buddhism, how can we leave it all to others?"

"The other one..."

Maitreya Buddha sighed, but was also a little worried, and said: "Taishang Xuanwei Zhenren and Zhenwu Lingying Daojun are, after all, modest gentlemen, as gentle as jade. In their words, Shangqing Dongxuan Daojun is better at killing than him, but I'm afraid he is not much better. If these two misjudge the crisis of Nalanda Temple and there is any danger, you and I will be blamed for our death."

"Extremely."

“However, when Zhenwu Lingying Daojun said that they would all be killed, it did scare me.”

“Then I realized that this was his thunderous voice to expose the part of our hearts that had managed to escape by chance. The so-called ‘kill them all’ was just a joke.”

"Haha, you were scared too."

"yes……"

"I did think of that. After all, Zhenwu Lingying Daojun is as gentle as jade. How could he say such murderous words without changing his expression?"

The four Bodhisattvas talked with each other and came to the Doubu. They were surprised to see that the Doubu was bustling with people today. They were curious and asked a familiar immortal. After greeting each other, they asked, "Daoyou, why is the Doubu so lively today?"

The immortal said, "You Bodhisattvas have never been to heaven, so you don't know what happened today."

His expression was solemn and somewhat excited. He said:

"The Fourth Saint of the Arctic is about to appear."

"Its name is **Demon!"

"Today is the day to directly reveal his name!"

The four Bodhisattvas were surprised and looked at each other. They were all curious and repeated the name subconsciously, saying:

"**magic?"
