Chapter 132 The Buddhas arrived sixty years early!

Li Hui was stunned and dazed. He seemed to have finally lost all his pride and divine light. Even his dream, even the wish to become an emperor above millions of people, and even the great wish to pursue immortality above this emperor, seemed to be weak in front of his brother's pride at this moment, and was completely shattered into dust by the deafening roar.

Li Hui sat there, murmuring: "The four seas are unified, and the world is one country."

"The four seas are unified, the world is one country..."

This is an achievement that surpasses that of the first emperor of mankind eight thousand years ago!

In these eight words, there is naturally an indescribable heroic spirit and a fierce and tyrannical will. When they were coveting the throne of the Human Emperor left by their ancestor, Li Zhai had already seen a more distant landscape. Li Hui could almost hear his brother... no, the mighty King's hidden roar in these eight words.

There must be heroes and great men in every generation!

How can we be weaker than the ancients?

Li Hui raised his hands to cover his face, but suddenly his body trembled and he burst into laughter and tears.

Qi Wuhuo watched Li Zhai walk out. The latter pursed his lips, his expression slightly gloomy, but also resolute. Li Zhai nodded to Qi Wuhuo and thanked him, "Thank you for coming here, Taoist priest. This is the last time I see my brother."

Qi Wuhuo looked at him, his eyes sweeping across the highest point of the Zhaixing Tower behind him.

He could observe fate and understand cause and effect, so he knew that this seemed to be the last time Li Zhai and Li Hui met in this life. The Taoist did not speak of the cause and effect, because the determination on Li Zhai's face was enough to explain many things. The two went downstairs together, and Qi Wuhuo said, "I just heard about King Weiwu's ambition."

Li Zhai paused and asked, "Does the Taoist priest also find this absurd?"

He spoke calmly, "Ten thousand years ago, there were many countries all over the earth, and there were endless wars among the countries. There was only one hegemon. Eight thousand years ago, the first emperor almost completely stabilized the world as one country, but he was defeated before he succeeded..."

"I just feel that this may be the last chance."

Li Zhai said: "Now the Shenwu Kingdom is strong and powerful, and there is no emperor in the country to restrain it. The wings of the aristocratic families have been clipped. I am able to completely suppress them while I am still alive. No one in the four directions can be my opponent. Everything is enough. I am a military strategist. I can feel that the general trend has been established and I should achieve success in one battle."

"If there is such an opportunity, we must complete this task in the hands of our generation..."

"What do you think, Taoist Priest?"

The young Taoist looked at the young and mighty king in front of him.

He suddenly had a feeling.

I have clearly entered the world, but I also have a feeling of being out of it. I have to suppress this human world for a decade. However, during this decade, the ones who truly stand out and accomplish their own achievements in this turbulent era are not myself, but my friends and old acquaintances.

From here, it seems that I have been born again.

The Taoist suddenly had a more intuitive feeling about the "destiny" that he had sensed.

Who was it that stopped Senior Brother Xuanzhen at the last moment?

The young Taoist thought in his heart. He did not directly answer Li Zhai's invitation and inquiry. He just swept the whisk, put it on his arm, and replied gently: "I will stay in the capital for a period of sixty years."

Li Zhai was startled for a moment, then burst into laughter.

"Then, after sixty years, you and I will drink one last pot of wine."

"I will be old by then, and you will become an immortal."

"We won't know each other in this life anymore."

The Taoist said goodbye, and after parting with Li Zhai, he walked back to the street where the treasury was located. People were coming and going, and the young Taoist glanced around, but did not see the Little Dragon Girl from before. He thought that the latter was planning to "play the long game and catch the big fish", slowly getting familiar with the place, and then looking for an opportunity to steal the young Taoist's money bag.

"...Let her do as she pleases."

The Taoist walked into the storage room. The old blue ox had just bandaged the wound of the monk who was sent here. God must have mercy on him. The old blue ox had just prepared many vegetarian dishes, tofu and everything else, and was waiting for the young Taoist to come back for dinner, but when he came back, he turned out to be a monk who exhaled more than he inhaled.

Old Green Ox had followed Tai Shang for so many years that he knew some medical skills. Plus, before coming here, Qi Wuhuo had already stuffed some pills into the mouth of the monk Randeng that the Jade Emperor had sent him when he set foot in the fairyland, so the monk's vitality was at least retained. After the old ox tossed around for a while, the injury was almost healed.

The old blue ox wiped his sweat, took a long breath, and said, "Oh, my old waist, Wuhuo, who is this monk?"

Qi Wuhuo said: "It's Master Ran Deng."

"Light up the lantern?!"

Old Qingniu was surprised and subconsciously glanced at the monk with his eyes closed.

During the catastrophe in Zhongzhou, Ran Deng also participated in the battle and absorbed all the turbid energy of the disaster into his own body. After that, they also lived and died together in the demon clan's territory twice. Qi Wuhuo had never thought that the next time he saw Ran Deng, it would be like this. He stretched out his hand to pass his own Qi to Ran Deng to warm his body.

This monk has many hidden injuries in his body, his foundation is almost damaged, and he is on the verge of collapsing.

It's really shocking.

Qi Wuhuo didn't know what kind of torture this kind-hearted monk had gone through to torture his Arhat foundation to this state. After being nursed back to health, the monk's Qi improved slightly and barely stabilized, but his spirit was still very weak and he had not woken up. He had no choice but to find a room for Ran Deng to recuperate first, and asked Old Green Ox:

"Uncle Niu's expression just now, did he recognize Master Ran Deng?"

Old Qingniu picked up a peanut with his fingers and threw it into his mouth, chewing it for a few times, shaking his head and saying, "Hey, how can I not recognize you?"

"He has a very deep foundation and is related to the Buddha in the legend. However, the Buddha did not come to the world, and he himself was unwilling to stay in the Western Paradise for a long time. He always wandered in the human world. You should also know that once he achieves the emperor realm, he will have no regrets. He practiced different Buddhist lineages and Buddhist teachings every time, only participating in the correct Dharma, and not seeking supernatural powers."

"Every time I practice this line of Buddhism, I will reach the level of Bodhisattva."

"He would return to the Bodhi tree, dissipate all his Buddhist roots, and become a mortal again. He would then enter another lineage of Buddhism, spending a thousand years cultivating until he reached the level of a Bodhisattva, and then dissipate the Dharma and cultivate again. This lasted for 17,000 years. He had cultivated and dissipated all the Dharmas of the Buddha lineages, but he still could not find the right path and right way in his eyes."

Qi Wuhuo said to himself: "The Dharma has been dispersed and re-cultivated seventeen times, for a total of seventeen thousand years."

He looked at the monk who was sleeping soundly and was seriously injured in the room. He knew how hard it was to practice for these 17,000 years. He couldn't help but sigh and stood up. The old blue ox stood behind the young Taoist and suddenly said, "Master Xuanwei, what do you want to do? If you interfere in the affairs of Buddhism, there will be many consequences that will take thousands of years to resolve."

The young Taoist paused for a moment and replied, "It's only for the sake of the human world."

He raised his hand, and a scroll fell on the table in the storage room. On it were the ups and downs of mountains, rivers, lakes and seas, as well as cities in the human world. Old Qingniu might not be very powerful, but as a follower of the Taoist Ancestor, he was also knowledgeable and recognized the object at a glance, saying, "The "Mountain and River Map" of Empress Wa?"

"However, this treasure seems..."

"Well, it's time to transform."

Qi Wuhuo picked up a brush from the side, dipped it in the luck of humanity, and then put his pen on the scroll. Ripples suddenly appeared on the "Map of Mountains and Rivers". Qi Wuhuo added another stroke on it today, so the scroll began to glow. Under the young Taoist's pen, the outline and shape of a city slowly appeared on the map of mountains and rivers.

The content of "Map of Mountains and Rivers" was increased, and the connection between this treasure and the human world was increased, but its original charm was not destroyed. This made Old Green Ox amazed. However, he was worried about one thing. If Fuxi knew that Qi Wuhuo had changed the "Map of Mountains and Rivers", would it be another big trouble that gave him a headache?

But such things are for the future.

The old blue ox pointedly said, "This Randeng here will sooner or later attract the attention of the Buddhist sect. If you leave him here, you will eventually get into trouble. Everything, every drink and every bite, has its own cause and effect. Have you considered this?"

Qi Wuhuo picked up the brush and dipped it into the human destiny to complete the "Map of Mountains and Rivers". He paused and replied, "He once fought hard in Zhongzhou and saved countless people. Today he is in trouble, and I cannot abandon him."

"Besides."

The young Taoist paused:

"The Buddhas may not dare to come in."

The old blue ox was so surprised that he could not speak.

After the four great Bodhisattvas parted ways, they each returned to their own temples. However, Guanyin Bodhisattva faintly sensed a strong Buddhist energy appearing at the border. His Buddhist practice was very high, and he immediately felt that something was wrong. After a little calculation, he knew that it was probably the incident at the Nalanda Monastery that attracted the wrath of the Buddhas behind the scenes, and they wanted to invade the human world.

He immediately became worried, and while sending messages to his other friends, he followed the direction of the Buddha's light, hoping to stop the Buddhas, talk to them and ask them questions, so as to delay time.

Although the methods of those Buddhas are not of great quality, they are still stronger than those of ordinary True Lords.

A journey of 18,000 miles was not a very long distance for them. They arrived in an instant. From afar, they could see the human city, which was quite majestic and tall. When Li Zhai led his troops to turn back, he left behind some generals to guard the border. At this moment, these generals saw the clear Buddha's light in the sky, illuminating one side, and they were at a loss for a moment.

The cities on earth can stop wild beasts and intercept foreign countries. Even if monsters come, they can draw swords and fight.

However, the changes in the Buddha's light and its sacred and clear appearance made them unsure of how to deal with it.

Dozens of Buddhas traveled a distance of 18,000 miles, but the border was just ahead. They only needed to take a light step to set foot on the human world of the magical Nine Provinces. But at this time, they also felt the tremendous changes of cause and effect and destiny, just like the previous Namo Shanle Zizaiyin Guangming Tathagata, who acted according to his heart and did not tell lies.

Everyone's expression was either frozen or solemn.

Namo Wheel-everywhere-illuminating-auspicious Tathagata could not help but sigh:

“What great luck!”

They all felt the surging momentum of the human world. They had a feeling that once they stepped into this place, they would be locked by cause and effect and their destiny would collapse and suppress them. However, they had a trace of doubt in their hearts. If there was such a majestic destiny suppressing them, how could Namo Shanle Zizaiyin Guangming Tathagata have provoked this destiny and escaped unscathed? !

The Buddhas looked at each other, and their faces all looked a little ugly:

"If it wasn't for Namo Shanle Zizaiyin Guangming Tathagata who started talking nonsense, not to mention that he just fought with the Taoist, in fact, the old sly guy didn't even fight with the Taoist once."

"He just said one provocative word from a distance and then turned around and ran away for thousands of miles."

"Or else, during this period of time, the destiny of the human world has changed again."

"The Taoist's suppressed luck and entangled cause and effect are even stronger than they were a stick of incense ago..."

They instinctively did not want to believe the second possibility, but reason told them that Namo Shanle Zizaiyin Guangming Tathagata would not lie about such a thing, which meant that the fortune of the human world really had improved during the time it took to stick of incense.

"What a monster..."

"Is it the times that make heroes, or are there heroes that make the times?"

"Amitabha."

All the Buddhas were silent. One of them said, "Namo Wheel-Illuminating Auspicious Tathagata. The Dharma is vast. Please go first."

Namo Wheel-Pervading-Illuminating-Auspicious Tathagata said, "Lion-Swift-Angry Tathagata, your speed is extraordinary, like infinite light, please go first."

"No, no, no, Buddhist friends go first."

"Wrong, wrong, wrong. Fellow practitioners please go first."

The Buddhas wanted to give way several times, but no one left first, because they all sensed that the luck of the Shenwu Nine Provinces was slowly gathering and forming a system of its own, with a faint aura of stirring up trouble. The Taoist was sitting in the center, and if they stepped into it, they would definitely be locked in by this momentum. If the Taoist took advantage of the situation and walked out of the capital to make a move, he would be truly unmatched.

They knew that the Taoist only had the foundation of a True Lord and could only use one sword.

But that sword is 100% enough to keep a Buddha here.

The way of momentum and luck is to accumulate, and once it pours out it is like an ocean. The second move will never have such momentum, but none of them dared to bet on whose head the sword would fall, nor did they dare to bet on which Buddha was left here.

For a moment, the mysterious changes in the energy made the Buddhas unable to move, unwilling to move, and even afraid to move!

Whoever shows up will die!

The Taoist only had one sword, but there was only one head on the neck.

The Buddhas have avoided disasters several times before they have achieved such attainments and realms. They are all extremely cautious and for a while they only stayed outside the borders of the Shenwu Jiuzhou.

All of them had clear Buddha light in their eyes. They observed the destiny and cause and effect of this world, but gained nothing. They didn't know how to advance, nor could they retreat. But at this moment, there was suddenly energy rising from the ground. All the Buddhas looked in the direction of this destiny. They lowered their eyes and saw a little Taoist child, who was as delicate as jade, wearing a dark blue Taoist robe, with a plum blossom draped over his arm. He walked towards them, following the flow of cause and effect and the majestic destiny, freely and unrestrained.

Although his level of Taoism does not seem to be very high, this move can be regarded as taking advantage of the general trend.

The Buddhas were surprised, and saw that this little Taoist boy was a small node in the destiny of the people of Shenwu Jiuzhou. The little Taoist boy walked to the top of the city, first greeted the human warriors guarding the place, and then looked at the countless Buddha lights in the sky, took a deep breath, and then said in a childish but serious voice, word by word:

"Everyone, I bow my head here."

"I have come here to speak to you in obedience to the Immortal's order."

Namo Wheel-Pervading-Illuminating-Auspicious Tathagata put his hands together, appeared from the clouds, and said gently, "Little layman, please speak."

The little medicine spirit thought about it, held the plum branch in his hand, and then threw it forward.

In the capital city, a young Taoist picked up a brush and dipped it in the human destiny in the void to continue the "Map of Mountains and Rivers". On this "Map of Mountains and Rivers", there are undulating terrain of mountains, rivers, lakes and seas, as well as many scenes of the human world. It seems that it can sense the faint energy and knows what is happening at the border. Qi Wuhuo picked up the brush and pointed the tip of the brush at the sun in the sky, as if he dipped the brush in the color of the sun.

The human Qi in his body turned, and he picked up the brush and smudged it in the Yangtze River, making the red on the tip of the brush turn into light red.

Only then did he start writing about the border.

The tip of the brush is slightly tilted, and the person's Qi flows, following the trend and drawing to one side.

A red blush spread out.

At the border, when the little Taoist boy threw out the plum branch, the Buddhas did not care. But the next moment, between heaven and earth, an indescribably powerful and special [Qi] fell, merging with the fate of humanity and falling on the branch of the plum tree. The next moment, the Buddhas and the soldiers at the border saw a red plum forest appear outside the Great Wall, stretching for dozens of miles and as red as fire.

Namo Wheel-Pervading-Illuminating-Auspicious Tathagata’s expression froze.

All Buddhas are silent.

Guanyin, who had hurried over, also saw this scene. She looked at the little Taoist boy standing there in silence. He had a dignified look on his face, his hands folded in front of him, and spoke in a clear voice, enunciating each word:

"The Buddhas have been in the human world for sixty years."

"My master said, please go back."

"Today, he won't see any guests."
