Li Weifeng, with a head full of white hair, was wearing gorgeous clothes and a simple sword on his waist. He walked out of the palace without any attendants. He walked through this worldly world step by step and went to the mountain to visit his sister. One of them was the Human Emperor, and the other was practicing Taoist techniques.
They chatted about their childhood at the table.
The young man who once chased after Li Qiongyu is now gray-haired and has many wrinkles on his face, while Li Qiongyu has a gentle expression and soft brows, and still looks to be in her twenties. In any case, her state of mind has been blessed by the Taoist fate of the Supreme, and she has experienced the same dream as the Taoist priest.
In the dream, she was a mountain god who had been practicing for sixty years. Now, in this prosperous era, she picked up her practice again and made progress step by step. There was no difficulty. She just practiced peacefully. She has practiced until now. After a chat, Li Weifeng, who always stuck to her sister when she was young, put down her teacup and looked outside.
Dingyan Peak is one of the most famous mountains outside the capital.
The mountain is not very steep but extremely beautiful. It is surrounded by mountains on all sides like a tripod, with mist and haze gathered inside the tripod. Every sunrise and sunset, the light is shimmering and the scenery is extremely beautiful, hence the name.
Looking out from the Taoist temple on Dingyan Peak at this moment, you can see a thin sea of clouds spreading out very flatly, and then slowly and gently sweeping over the surrounding mountains, trees and crowds. The steps leading to the Taoist temple are divided into two sides, with a sea of clouds and mist above and the bustling world below.
Now the light of the sun falls on one side, flowing on the sea of clouds, spreading a golden color.
It's so beautiful.
Li Weifeng looked dazed and in trance for a long time, as if at this moment, he was still the child who was taught by his sister. In front of the beautiful scenery, he emptied his mind. However, such a beautiful and magnificent picture would eventually disappear. The golden light was finally taken away, the sea of clouds dissipated, and the sky and the earth darkened.
Li Weifeng smiled after a long while. He put the cup in his hand on the table and looked up at his sister. Then the young man in his dream turned into this old man. He said softly, "Sister is in the mountains. Please practice well."
He just said this and stood up.
The younger brother who used to stick to his sister took the initiative to say goodbye.
He walked down the mountain step by step, and walked on the streets of the red dusty capital city that he had protected. The brothel that he had walked into when he was young and nearly collapsed under the tremendous pressure was no longer there. There was no way, as the Confucian master was still alive.
Moreover, the farmer's teacher is still in his prime.
Everyone can eat well and have enough.
Nine more tablets were opened, and the method of cultivation was spread.
In the era of various schools of thought, everyone has a way forward, and no one is willing to sell themselves.
And plundering the people and forcing them to sell themselves?
Alienating people as commodities?
ha?
That one over there is called the Legalists. Do you see their chains?
These brothers here wearing black clothes and carrying huge unsheathed black swords are called Mohists.
Finally, if you can wade through these two waves, raise your head and look forward.
The Master has such a tall and majestic figure, such a big fist, and such a big sword. Do you see it?
The Master proposed a world of great harmony.
People should not only love their own relatives and their own children, but also ensure that the old have a place to live, the strong have a place to work, the young have a place to grow, and the widows, the orphans, the lonely and the disabled are all taken care of; men have their share and women have their home; if goods are thrown away, they do not have to keep them for themselves; if their labor is not used, they do not have to use it for themselves.
Therefore, conspiracies will not arise, thefts and robberies will not occur, and outer doors will not be closed. This is called Great Harmony.
Then you want to do evil in this world?
Anyone would think this is simply crazy. Even a madman would not want to challenge a guy who is surrounded by three thousand disciples who are proficient in various combat skills and have powerful Qi enough to preach everywhere.
Li Weifeng carried the wine jug, smiled, and walked through this world step by step. The world was prosperous, and people were talking about life and cultivation, but no one knew who the old man walking here was. Finally, he came to the storage room, and the old blue ox led him to the outside of the quiet room where the Taoist was sitting with his eyes lowered.
The white-haired Li Weifeng looked ahead, smiled slightly, and said:
"Master, I'm leaving now. I have a rough idea of what I will face when I enter the Fengshan Ceremony at Mount Tai. Even if I am a pig, I should understand some things after sitting in this position for such a long time. And if you know some things, there are only two options: either escape or face them."
"I'm not a brilliant person, but I know that I'm here now."
"You shouldn't have escaped."
"Then who else but me can handle this kind of thing?"
Li Weifeng spoke softly. He chatted for an hour. Old Green Ox, Taoist Master Ran Deng, and even the man in green shirt did not come near. They left this space and time to the pale old man. Finally, the old man smiled gently and took out a wine jug from his arms. It was the one that Qi Wuhuo returned to him when he ascended to the throne of the Human Emperor.
He put the jug down gently.
Turned around and left.
Old Qingniu looked at Li Weifeng's back and his eyes twitched.
Although he was only at the True Lord level, he had followed the old man from beginning to end, met many people, and witnessed the development of the human race. To this point, he didn't know if it was an illusion, but he seemed to see familiar figures from Li Weifeng's old but straight back, and couldn't help but sigh:
"This is……"
The man in green was not so particular.
He walked over, picked up the simple wine jug, shook it, listened to the sound inside, opened the mouth, and then tilted it to one side. Some liquid poured out and landed on the ground, splashing water, clear and clean.
It's clean water.
Clear, clean water.
Just like when Qi Wuhuo handed him the wine jug sixty years ago.
"Tsk, it's just water."
The scholar in green robes sighed in a tone that seemed not so simple, and the old green ox was dumbfounded.
He knew that this blue-shirted scholar, Emperor Fuxi, was not very particular and did whatever he wanted. But, but, this was too unpretentious! The old blue ox could not help but stammer, "You, you, you..."
"Me? What's wrong with me?"
Fuxi threw the wine jug down with a casual throw.
He landed steadily on the table and said, "Anyway, no one saw it, right?"
"Did you see that?"
He looked at Old Green Ox.
The old blue ox froze and became furious.
Do you look down on cows?
So obvious?!
He was confident and said angrily: "I didn't see it!"
So the scholar in green robe smiled casually and said, "You still have some eyesight, otherwise we would have to eat beef today." And the Taoist Master Ran Deng glanced sideways at the interior of the storage room. Inside the storage room, a white-haired old man was sitting with his eyes closed. His breath had completely dissipated, as if it was one with the heaven and earth.
His mental flow changed and his breathing became slow and long.
He hasn't woken up yet.
But it seems that the moment of waking up is approaching.
The sword is in the sheath, when will it ring?
Born out of necessity, act in response to disaster.
The sword was placed in the scabbard together with the Taoist robe and the wooden hairpin. It seemed that there were very subtle and long sword sounds coming from it.
The scholar in green narrowed his eyes and stopped chatting and sneering. The old green ox was still puzzled, but suddenly he felt that the wind here was getting stronger. He shivered and shook his body violently. The old tree next to him swayed gently, and the sound of leaves rubbing against each other continued.
…
Fengshan is a ritual that has been around since ancient times. It is extremely old and grand. It also has very detailed steps recorded in various books and documents. It is extremely prosperous, solemn and grand. Needless to say, the Fengshan ritual this time is based on the unity of the Nine Cauldrons.
This alone is more than any other ceremonies in the past.
All the philosophers and schools of thought in the world had already arrived at Mount Tai. When they met each other, they were all unwilling to accept the fact. When they looked around, they found that a few were missing. The monks of the Buddhist sect had never appeared here. There was no need to elaborate on this, because after the word "Shi" appeared on the nine steles, the master who founded the sect and expounded this doctrine did not appear.
Today, Zhuang Zhou is no longer in Taoism.
The Confucian Master Qiu did not seem to have any intention of coming here.
The two of them are now in other locations, but when these two are not here, the various schools of thought are no longer unrestrained and have not started discussing directly. Instead, they are quite respectful and restrained, as if there is another person who is able to control all of this.
Their eyes turned to the Taoist standing there, who looked to be in his early thirties, but was actually much older than that. He was the true disciple of Taoism, the abbot of Lianyang Temple, the teacher of Zhuang Zhou of Taoism, and the nephew of the old master, the Great Immortal Mingxin, also known as Immortal [Xi].
On one side is [Yin], who is still as handsome as ever, and whose bad temper has not changed either.
Someone has to be responsible for presiding over the rituals, maintaining and ensuring the Fengshan ceremony, and now the old Master is getting old and Confucius Qiu is no longer around, so only the Great Immortal Mingxin can be responsible. He originally didn't want to meet him, but as a Taoist with deep Taoist practice, he naturally believes in fate and the vague destiny.
After Li Weifeng once said, "Between you and me, except for death, there is no need for us to meet again."
Mingxin and Xiaoyaoling have been avoiding him all the time.
What I fear is the coincidence, the prophecy that comes true.
Don't forget, don't forget, the Investiture of the Gods is just a tool, a tool to protect the human world. You and us, we are all human, we are all living people. At least, the Human Emperor must still be here, at least I am still here.
The Human Emperor opened his eyes.
His hair was all white, he was leaning on his sword, his body trembling.
At this moment, he was looking straight at all the gods and Buddhas in heaven and on earth.
Use the ideas of various schools of thought to shape the hearts of the people.
Use my body to forge the hearts of hundreds of schools.
I offer my blood to Xuanyuan.
The wind blows on Mount Tai, and the people are speechless.
There is only a silent solemnity.
All spirits bowed and all disciples bowed.
Accompanied by a crisp sound.
Cracks appeared on the sword in Li Weifeng's hand, and then it turned into fragments, flying and scattering among the people.
His last battle in this life was over.
…
When you are exhausted from gathering firewood, the fire will spread and you will not know where it will end!
The torch is passed on.
——"Zhuangzi"!
