In an instant, the young Taoist felt a pain on his forehead, and then his body floated up lightly.
His body broke through the nine layers of earth veins and rose up in an instant. The young Taoist felt the heaviness of the earth, and in an instant he seemed to have turned into a piece of stone. The small stone was blown and rolled. The earth carries all things, but it is not eternally silent and unchanging, but accumulates strength from beginning to end.
Only change remains unchanged.
Beneath this unchanging state are huge changes that are happening all the time.
Then the young man realized, could it be that, from the beginning to the end, everyone's understanding of the earth's veins was wrong.
Being broad-minded and tolerant is only one side of the earth.
Under this benevolent power, it is in no way inferior to thunder and fire, and is even more tyrannical and domineering!
It is the so-called dragons and snakes rising from the land!
As soon as the thought came to mind, the environment changed again. The suppressed power of the earth burst out violently, and the line of sight was suddenly raised, the ground cracked, and all things were below.
Everything changes with the changing world.
That small piece of stone turned into a raised mountain because of the changes in the earth's veins. It was just a mountain. The mountain was born from the earth, overlooking the ground silently, as if sleeping in a daze, seeing the growth of all things. In winter, the mountain was covered with snow, in spring, everything grew, in summer, the mountains were covered with green trees, and in autumn, they were golden and red.
The four seasons rotate, but I remain unchanged.
Use the wind as your belt and the clouds as your sleeves, watch the changes in the world, and understand the life of the people in all four seasons.
This is the earth, carrying everything.
The mountains became higher and higher, seemingly able to directly support the sky and press down the ground. Then, among the common people, there were those who were lofty and walked further, calling themselves gods. They walked to the top of the highest mountain, and in the earliest times, they created the word "immortal", which meant people on the mountain.
Is this the earth?
Suddenly, there was a thunderous change, with a huge roar. The mountain collapsed and fell to one side with a rumble. The rocks burst, and all things were dead silent. The collapse of the mountain and the cracking of the earth were the wrath of the earth. Then gullies appeared on the earth. The rumbling sound was stronger than thunder, and then cracks appeared in the earth.
It is immeasurably deep and unfathomable.
The changes in the earth caused the sky to stir up clouds and rain to fall. Slowly, after who knows how many long years, the cracks were filled with water and turned into rivers. Then there were rivers and mountains. The huge mountain at that time collapsed and was weathered, and the consciousness of the young Taoist turned into a huge stone during the weathering.
This stone was taken away by people and brought into the city, where it became a brick in the city that supported everything.
All living things go back and forth on this earth, living their lives. When they are young, they take their first step on this stone, and when they die, they fall to the ground for the last time. The growth of a person lies in his ability to rely on his own strength, step on the ground, and move forward in circles. When a person dies, he will eventually be unable to move anymore.
However, the struggles in the world continued, the wars were endless, the stone was broken, the city was abandoned, the world changed drastically, and after countless years, the stone was weathered into dust, and then blown up by the wind. The dust flew up, and the vision suddenly widened, passing over endless mountains and rivers, and one felt the boundless grandeur.
Finally it landed on the highest mountain.
A tiny speck of dust creates ten directions of the world.
That’s all.
It has reached the scene that Taiyi Jiuku once saw.
But the young Taoist's mind has not yet returned. The earth is vast and boundless, newly born, carrying all things. Thunder is heard from the ground, dragons and snakes emerge from the land, the sea changes, time passes and the world changes, so all things grow on it, mountains and rivers run below it, thunder is heard, life and death occur, the earth is vast and boundless, and suddenly the young Taoist's sight changes abruptly, and in an instant, it is as if he wakes up from a big dream.
He looked at the sky.
He seemed to be lying on a mountain.
He himself seemed to be a mountain.
The sight suddenly rises!
It starts from a mountain and then suddenly spreads outwards. The earth carries everything. Rivers and mountains crisscross above and endless veins of earth crisscross below. It has mountains and all things as nodes and endless waterways and mountains as connections. It is complex and boundless, vast and majestic, carrying everything. The young Taoist is lying on a mountain in the middle.
Then, the criss-crossing veins of the earth and the huge land overlooking everything suddenly turned upside down, as if the earth was lifted up by a great force. Wild winds blew and whistled on the face, and the young Taoist's robe fluttered, his white hair stood on the temples. The mountains and rivers that had been silently waiting for the years turned into lines, and all living things were just footnotes on the robe.
The earth turned into a white palm.
All the young Taoist saw were just the lines on a white palm.
He lay there in a daze, and when he looked up, he saw a woman who was indescribable, incomparable, extremely tall, and yet ordinary. She had soft brows and distant eyes, and was wearing gorgeous clothes, the color of which was dark gold and ink. She seemed to have witnessed everything, experienced everything, and recorded everything. She was ancient, kind, and compassionate.
And, the calmness and divinity that transcends it all.
Compared with the changes we just saw, the memory of the earth's changes and the rise of dragons and snakes from the land is even more majestic.
There was a sense of vastness that shook the young Taoist's heart.
What he saw was the ever-changing sea, carrying all things, the changes of life and death, and the endless mountains and rivers.
It turns out that they are all just lines on the palms.
The woman just watched everything calmly and compassionately.
Without saying anything or asking anything, the woman just smiled, and everything seemed to be enough. Suddenly, there was a sudden shock, and what he saw in front of him disappeared in an instant. What was reflected in the young Taoist's eyes was the vast sky. He lay on the land under the Helian Mountain and smelled the scent of the distant land in his nose.
It was just a moment, but it seemed as if he had experienced a change in the world. He saw He Lianshan's past.
The young Taoist suddenly felt lazy and didn't want to move. He just lay on the ground.
The primordial Qi dispersed, and the Qi of the earth rose directly from the earth's veins into the body of the young Taoist. He seemed not to be a living being, but the eternal earth. It seemed that as long as he was on the earth, there would be no time for his own Qi to be exhausted, and the Qi of the earth's veins was rapidly recovering the injuries to his body's foundation.
It seemed that as long as he was on earth, he would never die.
The seas have changed dramatically, dragons and snakes have emerged from the land, and the earth has experienced countless hardships, but the earth is still the earth.
So do I.
It was as if the earth was torn apart and the mountains and rivers collapsed, but they turned into rivers again. The broken foundation of the young Taoist was flowing with the earth's energy, calmly and gently, and the foundation was restored. In just a short time, 10% of the foundation was restored. Then the earth's energy dissipated, and the young man did not try to stop it. He was as quiet as a rock overlooking the rotation of the four seasons.
There was a gentle voice in my ear: "I heard that after a few days, you will preach the Dharma and start refining the elixir."
"I want to see how much you can understand in the next few days."
"Can I get in?"
"Let me see if the enlightenment of the Taishang lineage is really as rumored."
In just a moment, the young Taoist remembered these things.
However, he did not even remember that the one he had contacted was Hou Tu Huang Di Ji, the oldest of the Four Emperors. He lay quietly on the ground with his arms spread out and his eyes slightly drooped. The earth energy flowed and changed in his body. He raised his hand, and a bird naturally landed on his finger, as if it was just a piece of rock.
The young Taoist lightly clenched his five fingers together, and the bird was startled and flapped its wings and flew away. In his eyes, the primordial Qi was surging.
What I saw just now was that the earth was shaking, and then dragons and snakes emerged from the land, and a scene of tremendous changes in the world was passing by.
Thunder suddenly ran between the five fingers.
It didn't sound like thunder from the sky, but more like the roar of the earth's sudden change just now.
Among all the magic, thunder magic is the strongest, and among all the thunder magic, the thirty-six thunders are the highest.
Above the thirty-six thunder palaces are the five thunders and the Heaven and Earth Dragon Shrine.
It is the second of the Five Thunders and has the strongest potential. It symbolizes the cracking of the earth, the vicissitudes of life, the murderous intent of the earth, and dragons and snakes rising from the land. With this vast and thick power, over the years, it turns into thunder, which can strike the souls of immortals and break the bodies of diamonds.
Earth vein thunder.
Purest.
…
But in Ruizhu Palace, a woman with a dignified appearance and dressed in sharp clothes slowed down her pace and came slowly. She saw on the bed in front of her, a woman with soft brows, wearing a dark gold and ink-colored dress, who looked like pure gold and unpolished jade with hidden treasures, with her eyes closed and one hand supporting her cheek, as if she was in a light sleep.
The woman with a murderous aura said, "My lady, you were just lost in thought."
The lightly sleeping woman raised her eyes and smiled, "Yuan Ying, don't be like this, it's just a wandering thought."
Yuanying Yuanjun said: "Your injuries from eight thousand years ago have not healed yet, so it's best not to leave."
She put down the soup bowl and carefully opened the lid. Then, as if she felt that her tone was too serious, she slowed down her tone and said, "However, Madam, you haven't been out for a long time. Did you meet any interesting people or things when you went out this time?"
The elegant woman smiled, took a sip from the soup bowl, thought for a moment, and said jokingly:
"I just discovered that my old friend got a cute kitten from nowhere."
"He's a little old-fashioned, but he's also done some good things. I heard that this little cat caught a lot of mice in the past, and he didn't cause any harm. Today, by chance, he came to my yard to catch butterflies. I was curious, so I had to tease him a few times. Don't you think so, Yuanying?"
Yuan Ying Yuan Jun said: "If your majesty likes raccoons, you can go down and catch some."
"puff……"
Another beautiful lady beside her couldn't help laughing and said, "Your Highness, you must be talking about a junior, right? How could it be a real cat? Yuanying, you really don't know how to joke."
Yuanying Yuanjun raised his eyes but did not answer.
Hou Tu Huang Di Ji Niangniang raised her hand and put down the mountain god seal of He Lianshan, and smiled helplessly:
“He also asked for his resignation from me.”
"This kid, I even went to see him in my incarnation, but he still asked to resign."
After understanding the reason why the young Taoist wanted to resign, Yuan Ying Yuan Jun felt that there was no problem and said, "This is a good thing. It can also prevent responsibilities from being implicated in dereliction of duty. However, Your Majesty, if you take it back, are you going to give him something directly? For example, a higher priesthood."
The Queen Mother Hou Tu Huang Di Ji smiled and replied:
"Of course not. The gift of the Zhongzhou Calamity has already been given to him. As for how much the little guy can understand."
"It depends on his understanding."
"I'll give him a few days to see if he can figure out something. If he really has the ability and understanding, then it would be appropriate to give him a more convenient position as 'mountain god', selected based on his talent. If he has ordinary understanding, then he will still be the mountain god of this mountain, but the name of this mountain will be changed and it will no longer be called Helian Mountain."
Yuan Zhi Yuan Jun on the side asked with a smile: "What if he has extraordinary understanding?"
"If I have the potential to reach the level of Taiyi Jiuku Tianzun, what will the Queen give me?"
The Queen Mother Hou Tu Huang Di Zhi said:
"Then let him not be here, and he can also patrol the earth veins."
"As for that Helian Mountain?"
"All Taoist practitioners have their own blessed places. Even the gods in heaven often have their own blessed places in the human world. They have incarnations sitting here to preach the Dharma, or they come here in their true bodies to open up a Taoist temple in the human world. This mountain is good. He has helped Zhongzhou break the disaster. He Lianshan will send him off."
"Allow one more mountain god, one land god, several day-roaming gods and several night-roaming gods."
"He can travel on his own, but he will eventually have to return to this family. We can leave him a home."
The voice of the Queen Mother Hou Tu Huang Di Ji was gentle: "Time is cruel to the human world. At least leave him some beautiful memories. I hope that when he becomes a true lord one day, he will look back and find that at least he can find some traces of them."
"That would be too painful."
Yuanzhi Yuanjun and Yuanying Yuanjun looked at each other, saluted, and took charge of the matter.
Yuan Zhi Yuan Jun sent a divine general under his command to pass a message to Tao Taigong and others, informing them of the change of the mountain name, and also told them that the mountain god of this mountain might change, but this mountain would at least be related to the young Taoist priest. Then everyone relaxed, and then looked at each other with strange expressions, and said: "This, changing the mountain name..."
"Ah, your name is Qishan?"
Little Huangjing and Little Deer Spirit were both happy: "Qishan! Qishan!"
But it was rejected directly. The old monkey in the mountain shook his head and said, "No, no, this won't work. It's too vulgar to call the mountain by its name! And it's flattery. No, no!" The old monkey cares about his name. A younger monkey said while eating the peaches that Xia Tian had left behind with magic:
"Then use the sound instead of the name."
"It's called Qishan?"
"Qishan?"
The monsters pondered, and finally even the monsters who were left here to do hard labor began to think, and said, "No, the Mountain of Forked Paths, this doesn't sound good!"
"That's true."
"What about Wuhuo Mountain?"
So the little yellow sapphire and the little deer spirit became happy again: "Wuhuo Mountain! Wuhuo Mountain!"
Everyone felt satisfied, but heard a sneer, saying:
"What is Wuhuo Mountain? Others might think it means Wuhuo Mountain! It means there is nothing in this mountain, so it is called Wuhuo Mountain!" The goblins were furious. They all looked over and saw the black bear, who stood less than one meter tall, with one hand on his waist and the other holding a bamboo pole. There was a white hook under his neck, which looked like he was pointing at the mountains and rivers.
"Move aside, move aside, and make room for Grandpa Bear."
"A bunch of bumpkins!"
"How can the name of a mountain be so simple? It's so tacky!"
"For example, the Putuo Mountain of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is not directly called Guanyin Mountain!"
"Putuo Mountain means Putuo Luojia, which means a beautiful place full of flowers and trees. It also has Buddhist temples and the charm of immortals, so it is called Putuo Mountain!"
The black bear's speech stunned many earth gods.
Only then did everyone realize that this had a background!
So Master Tao invited the black bear to sit down, served him good fruits and delicious food, and asked him for his opinion. The black bear took a bite of a peach from the old peach tree on the hillside, and said with a crunching sound, "That's easy to say. That little boy, ahem, I mean, that Taoist priest, do you have any tricks worth talking about?"
Everyone looked at each other, and all looked at the giant bear monster that was transformed from a ten-foot-tall bear into a little bear cub less than one meter tall.
The sound of silence is as deafening as thunder.
The little bear cub was furious: "It's not me!"
“It’s not me!”
Tao Taigong reluctantly looked away, stroked his beard and thought: "He once made elixirs here and taught Taoism. We all admire him and know that Taoism is extremely mysterious..."
"Then it's called Chuan Fa Mountain, or Dan Ding Peak."
"At least it sounds better than some mountain of nothing."
Everyone nodded.
I just feel that he is worthy of being the bear cub who stole the robe of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara.
Just know a lot!
Danding Peak is good, very good.
A god suddenly said slowly, "Oh, I remember when he was talking about Taoism, he once said something..."
…
The young Taoist lay on the ground, and it took him a while to come back to his senses. He felt his heart was at peace.
With the five fingers slightly spread out, the lightning in the earth veins flows and changes, which is enough to strike the earth and cause it to crack.
"That senior is really generous. He directly taught me this method..."
For some reason, the little peacock and the little medicine spirit were sleeping very soundly. The young Taoist stretched out his hand and pushed them several times, but they didn't respond. He could only smile and shake his head, then got up. It was getting late, and he wanted to go home, so he went down the mountain, thinking about the vast scenery he had seen today.
After walking for a while, they saw that the road ahead was dark and deep, but they could see lit candles, hear people greeting each other, familiar voices, and laughter. The young Taoist had a smile on his face and was carrying a bamboo basket on his back. A little peacock and a little medicine spirit were sleeping in the basket. He took a step forward with clear eyes.
But don’t think about those!
Practice is practice.
Life is life.
If you’re hungry, go home and make a fire to cook!
Red dust, enter the red dust.
On the mountain, the tall man said, "When he wanted to preach, I didn't accept his status as the God of Helian Mountain, so I made things difficult for him and ordered him to tell these monsters about the method of Xiantian Yiqi." The black bear bit the peach, nodded repeatedly, and said with admiration, "Then you are a piece of shit."
The Earth God paused, glared at him, and said, "At that time, I relied on my age to teach him a lesson not to go so far."
"He said, 'The path of spiritual practice is long and those who have never met a teacher are like walking in the dark without being able to see anything.'"
"[It would be nice if I could hold up a candle to illuminate the path ahead]"
"Do you remember?"
Tao Taigong sighed, how could he not remember it? It was this sentence that made him firmly believe that the man was the Taishang successor, with such a character.
So the man said, "How about we just use this sentence to name it?"
"You mean, Zhuzhao Mountain?"
"It doesn't sound good... Think about it, think about it..."
Everyone was thinking hard. The setting sun in the west was like melting gold, and the mountains were gradually showing signs of spring.
Now the young Taoist priest, who was only sixteen years old, walked quickly back home.
It is the season of lush grass and flying orioles. The young Taoist in front of him is, after all, only sixteen years old. His brows are clear and he still looks childish. Behind him are the green mountains and in front of him is the world of mortals.
The mountain gods pondered and finally made a decision. They thought of a nice name and said:
"From today on, this mountain will be called—"
"【Fangcun Mountain】."
"how?"
"Fang Cun Mountain?"
The black bear drank the monkey wine brewed by the monkeys, ate the peaches growing on the peach tree on the mountainside, and watched the mountain gods discuss names.
The young Taoist stepped into the world of mortals.
