The young Taoist and the child, who was only a dozen days old, smiled at each other. There was an indescribable charm in the child. The Chen couple had never seen such an expression on the child who did not cry, make a fuss or laugh after being born. The young Taoist exhaled a breath of fairy air lightly, which fell on the child, and then the remaining Buddhist charm after the child was born slowly dissipated and entered the bones.
There was a human charm in his eyes. He opened his mouth and suddenly started crying as if he was just born.
The Chen couple hurriedly comforted the child. The young Taoist retracted his fingers and held the whisk to feel peaceful and at ease. The young couple over there felt so grateful that they invited the young Taoist to stay and entertain him. Qi Wuhuo declined. The young man hesitated for a moment, then gritted his teeth, stepped forward and bowed, saying:
"Immortal, I am so bold and daring. You have saved my child, which is already a great favor. I should not ask for anything extravagantly. However, my child has encountered such a disaster since he was born. Immortal, you have great magical powers and great mercy. I wonder if you can accept my child as your disciple?"
“I don’t ask for anything to be cultivated, I just ask for the power to protect myself, so that I don’t encounter such dangers again and get kidnapped by monsters… Immortal, please have mercy, have great mercy…”
He gritted his teeth and bowed, but the woman holding the child was stunned, and then she was extremely reluctant to let go.
The young man suddenly found a gentle aura holding him up, making it impossible for him to bow down. He was slightly stunned, and raised his head to see the young Taoist sweeping his whisk lightly, bowing slightly, and supporting him with both hands. The Taoist said, "You don't have to be so polite. I came to see him, but I can't accept him as my disciple."
"There is no master-disciple relationship between him and me."
Youth is eclipsed.
Qi Wuhuo walked to the child, thought for a moment, and took the Buddhist beads off his wrist. This was the treasure of the Medicine Master Liuliguang Tathagata's Nirvana, and the power of Buddha was infused into it. Even a peerless weapon like the Blood River Sword could be suppressed. But after leaving Qi Wuhuo's palm, the Buddhist beads turned into an ordinary and plain appearance, and then he placed it next to the child and said gently:
"In this way, the property has been returned to its original owner."
The Buddhist beads were ordinary. The young Taoist also instructed: "This child will achieve great success in the future. You two don't have to worry about it. Just raise him as usual. At the child's hundred-day banquet, I may come here to ask for a glass of wine." He stretched out his hand to tease the child, and the child giggled again.
And in Qi Wuhuo's eyes, he saw that the Buddhist beads concealed the child's aura, making him no longer so special.
The pure Buddha nature and Buddha heart will remain and will not be exposed, which can avoid a certain degree of danger. However, the young Taoist has a vague realization that this method of concealment is not a long-term solution. As time goes by, the Buddhist beads will one day no longer be able to conceal the characteristics of the reincarnation body of Medicine Buddha, and it will be exposed. At that time, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will surely come to guide him.
However, what is being led away may not be the end of Buddhism.
It's not even the Eastern Lapis Lazuli Buddhist Kingdom.
But it is the Western Paradise of Amitabha Buddha.
The young Taoist thought about it, then tapped the child's forehead lightly, as if leaving a red mole between his eyebrows. He would know when the child was in danger. He played with the child for a while. The child was born not long ago and lacked energy, so he gradually fell drowsy and asleep. Qi Wuhuo said goodbye, and the Chen couple sent him out.
The man asked, "Master Immortal... Does my child have a chance to become an immortal?"
The young Taoist said: "If it is a destiny of immortals, then it should be there."
The man said, "Master, can't you accept him as your disciple?"
"Who should he choose as his master?"
The Taoist seemed to be unable to hold back his laughter and laughed out loud. His eyes and eyebrows were gentle as he laughed. A whisk was draped over his blue Taoist robe. He replied, "If the law of fate comes, there is no need to force it. His words..."
The Taoist suddenly raised his hand and pointed to the sky, then to the ground, and said gently:
“We should take the universe as our teacher!”
The young man could sense the breadth of spirit in these words and was startled. He subconsciously looked up at the boundless sky and saw from afar that the sunlight was as clear as glass and covered the eastern horizon. It was so brilliant and beautiful that he lost his mind. Suddenly he woke up and quickly retracted his sight, but the Taoist under the tree was gone. When he turned around, the land god was gone, and the many monsters who were tied by a hair were gone.
Everything is the same as before, like a dream.
…
"My Lord, My Lord..."
"No, that's not right. I am the land god of Xianxiang Village. I have seen the Emperor Taishan, who was personally commanded by the Emperor Hou Tu!"
On the mountain, the short god of land hurriedly stepped forward and bowed. Most gods could recognize Qi Wuhuo's aura and would not make a mistake. The god of land followed Qi Wuhuo out, and after a round of greetings, he pulled hard. The monsters in the mountains were pulled by his hair and fell to the ground like rolling gourds.
The God of Land said, "That's all. When I rescued the child just now, I went into the mountains and captured them all."
These monsters all looked panic-stricken, knowing that they were in great danger. They wanted to struggle, but that thin strand of hair seemed to be stronger than a chain made of fine steel. Every time it moved, it caused the power of thunder to flow and change, causing their bodies to hurt severely. They knew that they were in big trouble, and when they heard the land god who had subdued them kowtow and call himself the emperor, their faces turned pale.
Several of them convulsed and fainted from fright.
Qi Wuhuo shook his head and replied to the land god: "It's just becoming an immortal."
He looked at the spirits again and said, "I heard from the Earth God that you captured the child to eat his flesh and pray for immortality?" This sentence was so light, but it frightened several spirits again. Several more spirits fainted. Only a few were still conscious and stammered, "Yes, that's right."
"Where did you get the news?"
The monster was startled and said, "I, I don't know either. I had a dream one day and someone told me in the dream."
The young Taoist asked, "Hmm? Just because you saw it in a dream, you believed it?"
This question was like breaking through some invisible barrier. Suddenly, a stream of light appeared on the monster's body and it disappeared. He was stunned and began to doubt himself: "Huh? Yes, yes, why did we believe what was said in the dream?! We really broke the rules and went to find him?"
This ball of magical light had not completely dissipated, but turned into a stream of light and rushed directly towards Qi Wuhuo.
The light changed brilliantly and transformed into the appearance of a Buddhist monk.
There was a faint sound of scripture chanting, clear and peaceful, directly pressing between the eyebrows.
Contained within is the power to brainwash Qi Wuhuo into a Buddhist fanatic.
Obviously so overbearing, yet acting calm and indifferent, ethereal and endless, Qi Wuhuo raised his eyebrows, and swept the whisk casually, but it was like a sword, directly smashing the Buddhist monk's appearance into pieces, and a faint roar came: "How dare you, Taoist, destroy my magical powers here!!!"
Before the voice fell, it turned into an exclamation.
The young Taoist swept his whisk and directly swung his sword over. A murderous sword intent followed the charm and chopped in the opposite direction. In a temple in the distance, because the emperor worshipped Buddhism, the temple was very prosperous. A compassionate old monk sat cross-legged on a lotus platform, explaining Buddhism to the believers. His speech was so wonderful that the sky was falling and golden lotuses were gushing out from the ground. The believers were fascinated and thought that he was the real Buddha.
He also stuffed a lot of silver coins into the incense box, and the monks had to go into the wishing pool at the back to salvage the silver every day. Only the copper coins were left, and no one was too lazy to look at them. Instead, they kept piling up.
The Guanyin Temple for praying for children is also very effective and people often come here.
But at this moment, the compassionate old monk who was explaining the Dharma in front of all the believers suddenly opened his eyes, his face suddenly changed, and he suddenly shouted miserably: "Shangqing Jie Sword?!!!"
“Ahhhhhhhh!!!”
"Please spare my life, Immortal!"
All the believers were surprised. They looked up and saw the clouds in the sky dissipating and a whisk sweeping over. They screamed and dodged, but the whisk passed by without damaging even a brick or tile. However, the old monk was hit hard. He screamed and fell down, his body covered in blood. He could no longer move and was breathing less air and more air out.
And at the young Taoist's place.
The Buddhist monk who was pressing on Qi Wuhuo's brow transformed and let out a scream. The Buddhist aura dissipated and disappeared. It was obvious that even if the opponent was not dead, he was seriously injured and crippled. Instigating the spiritual monsters to eat human babies was a devilish act. The young Taoist priest fired this sword with anger and showed no mercy. He was really furious.
Qi Wuhuo looked at the scattered magic aura and said to himself:
"…Is this a Buddhist method?"
"【Enlightenment】?"
"It was supposed to be a compassionate means to awaken the spiritual nature of all things, but it turned out to be a way to imprint one's will on the spiritual consciousness of the enlightened creatures, unconsciously changing the thoughts of the people. It is called enlightenment, but in fact it is brainwashing. The current Buddha no longer exists, and the Buddha has been reincarnated. The sixteen Buddhist sects are fighting each other, but they have also ignored their own Dharma lineages and teachings."
"It's a pity that there are so many demons and monsters on the lotus platform."
"I hope you can get back to the source."
Those monsters had many tricks, and the Taoist broke them all with a sweep of his sleeves. He knew that the old monk might have discovered the child by chance. Judging from his skills, he probably didn't know that this was the reincarnation of Medicine Buddha. He did this because he was planning to use the group of monsters to hold the child hostage, and then appear at the critical moment to take the child as his disciple.
But he never expected that this child was special. The monsters didn't dare to get close to him or hurt him. The means they left behind had no room to be used, so he never found an opportunity. But this also represented a danger. Today it was this monk, tomorrow it might be that monster, and one day later, it might be a Bodhisattva from the Seventeen Meridians.
How to protect them...
The young Taoist had an idea in his mind, and suddenly remembered a method used by Shangqing Lingbao Daojun. A golden light flashed faintly in his eyes, and his aura instantly became more vast and far-reaching. He slowly stretched out his hand, slightly clenched his five fingers, and golden light flew out from his sleeves. The Taoist drew a circle in the air with his fingers, and the golden aura fell on the ground, directly covering the entire village.
Keep away monsters and avoid evil.
Then he thought again that if the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas wanted to take Medicine Master away, this method might not be enough.
After thinking for a while, he said, "Forget it... I hope I won't have to use this trick."
The God of Land was puzzled: "Huh?"
boom!!!
Suddenly there was a roar, and Qi Wuhuo swept his sleeves, and a river of blood surged out from his sleeves. The river of blood poured out, and in an instant it almost filled the sky and the earth, turning into a sea of blood.
The God of Land is sluggish.
The sleeves are as big as the sea!
What a magical power!
However, ordinary people could not see such a huge and majestic sea of blood. It was a part of the Blood River Sword. The young Taoist put his fingers together and swept it, and a tributary was separated from the Blood River Sword. Then it split and changed in an instant, turning into four smaller rivers. These four rivers were like long swords, but they circled around the young Taoist. The sound of the water was like the sound of swords, making the world solemn and murderous.
“Absolutely.”
The young Taoist priest made his decision, spoke softly, flicked his fingers slightly, and with a sound of sword ringing, a river fell down, and the most unique sword intent flew into the mountain.
"kill."
The most brutal one is the one that flows and changes in the veins of the village.
"trap."
The cold and unpredictable sword fell among the mountains, rivers and plants in the entire range.
With every word he spoke, the murderous aura and sword intent between heaven and earth became three times stronger. It became increasingly heavy, and even the swaying of grass and trees seemed to carry the incomparable sword intent, making it hard to breathe.
"And, punish..."
Finally, Qi Wuhuo grasped a sword in his hand, and the sword he was best at, the Third Sword, fell into the river. The hidden sword intent followed the concept of the river and connected the mountains, rivers, grass and the earth. It gathered with the [Basics of Formation] taught by Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun, the changes in the swordsmanship of Shangqing Da Daojun, and the rotation of Taishang, all naturally and calmly.
In this way, this formation is usually hidden in the natural world.
It was silent, without any abnormality, but because of the most central [Yuqing] characteristic of this formation, it would be accompanied by the mountains and rivers of nature, gradually absorbing the Qi of heaven and earth over time, and ultimately pushing the power of this sword formation to become greater and greater, waiting for the final explosion.
This is the difference between formations and supernatural powers. Supernatural powers can only rely on oneself, while formations rely on everything in heaven and earth, and can often burst out with power far beyond the limit.
"Set up the formation."
With Tai Shang as the foundation and Yuan Shi as the guide, the Shangqing sword formation was formed.
But, is this sword formation meant to slay the immortals or to kill the Buddhas?
Qi Wuhuo performed the sword technique, and the whole world was filled with a sharp and unpredictable sword intent and sword energy.
It was as if all things had turned into swords, rising into the sky. The God of Land felt his scalp tingling and he could not stand steadily. All he saw was a young Taoist standing peacefully beside the long river of sword energy, his hair slightly fluttering and his aura ethereal.
He moved his wrist slightly, opened his five fingers, and pressed down slightly. Then the huge formation constructed by the majestic sword intent slowly dissipated, and there was no longer any abnormality. The young Taoist looked at the village at the foot of the mountain, but saw the child raised his head and looked at him with a smile, so he smiled and bowed.
The God of Land was puzzled.
The young Taoist had retracted his gaze, turned to look at him sideways, nodded slightly to thank him, and swept his whisk like the Jade Pure Yuanshi Tianzun, resting it on his arm, and the cloud of mist dissipated, no longer existing.
The God of Land was stunned, then he clapped his hands and sighed:
"True immortal bearing!"
"Really an immortal's method!"
…
For several days afterwards, Qi Wuhuo practiced on his own, not mentioning breathing exercises. During this time, an incident occurred and the Human Emperor could not bear the huge shock, so he had to be sent back to life for a short period of time. Under the anger of every victim, the terrified and painful emperor had to accept the verdict of the underworld and pressed his handprints on his many crimes.
Meng Po told Qi Wuhuo quietly.
The emperor had almost gone mad with fear and terror, so she quietly replaced the crime file with the file from the mortal world and handed it directly to Qi Wuhuo, hoping that he could ask the great magician Xuandu how to create the Mengpo soup that could be useful to the gods at the Zhenjun level.
He also stated that he had absolutely no intention of taking action against True Lord Yin De Ding Xiu, so you can rest assured.
You don't have to tell him.
I also said that if you tell him, I will swallow Meng Po soup on the spot to show that nothing will happen.
The young Taoist laughed, knowing that this was their relationship, and just agreed. However, Master Xuandu might not agree.
In this way, time went by and Qi Wuhuo took some more time to recuperate.
At the end of the first month when Yuqing Da Dao Jun decided to teach him.
It’s finally time to start meeting Queen Nuwa again.
