Chapter 103 Amazon and the Hunting Goddess

"Wait a moment, Marasia."

"What did you say?"

Marasia was describing the battle in detail when Lin Ke suddenly raised her hand to interrupt her.

Lin Ke narrowed his eyes slightly, and there was a hint of doubt on that sacred face.

"Goddess of the Hunt? You mentioned the Goddess of the Hunt?"

Marasia nodded, and when she heard the name of the goddess of hunting, her expression became much more solemn.

"Yes, Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh."

"On the day I met the Atlantis soldiers, I wanted to protect my people in times of crisis and not repeat the same mistake of failure."

"So, I led the tribesmen to the [Totem Pole] late at night, and completed the 'Nature Worship' ceremony there, summoning the 'Goddess of Hunting'."

“Although it’s different than before, at least it’s a success.”

Lin Ke became interested again after hearing this. He leaned forward slightly and motioned for Malacia to continue.

Marasia took a deep breath and explained the origin and significance of the Goddess of Hunting.

"The goddess of hunting, in Amazon mythology, is a goddess that symbolizes beauty, love and battle."

"She is not just a god in our traditional sense, but also a great being who enables women to fight and protect their homes just like men."

"She represents the power of nature. She taught us hunting skills, fighting courage, and the independence and tenacity of women."

“She has been our patron saint throughout the history of the Amazon.”

"Whenever our people are facing a crisis, we will call upon her power and pray for her protection through the 'Nature Worship' ritual."

Lin Ke listened quietly and nodded slightly: "So, this goddess of hunting is the spiritual symbol of your Amazon tribe and also one of the sources of your strength when fighting?"

Lin Ke had observed before that these Amazons always showed strong cohesion no matter what they did.

Based on his observations and Marasia's words, he speculated that perhaps this goddess of hunting could also have some kind of effect similar to "inspiring soldiers."

Upon hearing this, Malacia nodded solemnly: "Yes, Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh."

"The goddess of hunting can make the Amazon warriors fearless in battle and more courageous as they fight."

"Her power not only grants us courage, but also makes us more agile and precise in combat, and even able to sense the enemy's weaknesses."

A hint of approval flashed in Lin Ke's eyes, and he became more and more interested in the hunting goddess mentioned by Marasia.

So he quickly raised a new question: "You just said that this time is different from the past. What exactly is the difference?"

Marasia's expression turned serious: "In the past, the Goddess of Hunting existed as an independent deity."

"She will only be summoned by us when the Amazon nation faces life and death, and then she will give us strength and protection."

"But this time, she gave the power directly to me."

"That is to say, I am now able to directly summon the power of the Hunting Goddess just like the Divine Envoy, instead of having to summon her only in times of crisis as before."

After hearing this, Lin Ke began to think.

Could it be... that the civilization panel had an impact on it?

After all, strictly speaking, the [Manu Jungle] and the [Totem Poles] were both built by the [Builders].

But it doesn't matter anymore.

The important thing is that as a vassal state of Holy Egypt, Amazon finally succeeded in summoning the goddess of hunting once again!

And this means that Holy Egypt actually has two gods!

Of course, Lin Ke had expected Amazon to regain the goddess of hunting, but he didn't expect it to come so soon.

He raised the corner of his mouth inadvertently, and then pressed it down.

Finally, he looked at Malacia with a friendly look: "This is a pleasant surprise."

"The Hunting Goddess has given you power directly, which means you have her approval and can better protect your people."

Malacia nodded: "Yes, Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh."

"But this also means that I have a greater responsibility."

"I have to keep honing myself so that I can use this power better."

Hearing this, Lin Ke's expression became even friendlier: "With great power comes great responsibility."

"With less power comes greater responsibility... ahem!"

"The fact that you realize this means you are ready."

"Besides, this is also good news for Holy Egypt."

"Your power, the power of the desert and the Nile, can make this land more peaceful."

When Marasia heard what Lin Ke said, tears appeared in her eyes.

It seemed that the word "peace" touched her heart.

"Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh, we, the Amazons, will do our best to fight for Holy Egypt."

She wiped her eyes gently, then as if she remembered something, she continued speaking.

"However, there are still some details about the battle that night that I need to report to you."

Lin Ke nodded and motioned for her to continue.

Marasia took a deep breath and continued, "After summoning the power of the Goddess of Hunting, the combat effectiveness of me and my people has been greatly improved."

"Those lion snake dogs were ferocious, but they were quickly defeated by our powerful attack."

“But just as I was about to kill the monster with two heads, it suddenly released a powerful dark energy.”
