Chapter 1242 The King and the Pharaoh

Lin Ke then revealed a satisfied smile. At least he was now certain that it was not a servant who had come to return the gift, but a real "civilized leader".

"It seems my judgment was correct."

He stood up and straightened his clothes.

"Let us see which wise leader of civilization was fortunate enough to be the first visitor to Holy Egypt."

A soft sound of footsteps came from outside the courtyard, growing louder as it approached.

Immediately afterwards, a gentle knock sounded on the door.

"Thump, thump, thump—"

Lin Ke's guards stepped forward and slowly opened the gate.

"Ah, it's you."

The guard's words immediately made Lin Ke's lips curl up slightly.

Yes, he was a leader, and the guards were obviously responding in this way because they had seen him before.

"Greetings, two warriors of Holy Egypt."

“I am Pachacuti, the leader of the Inca Kingdom.”

"These are some special items from our Inca tradition; I hope that the esteemed Holy Pharaoh will like them."

The two guards bowed and extended their hands respectfully to accept Pachakutk's gift.

It was gold of extremely high purity, along with the fur of some rare animals.

Just then, the two guards bowed again: "Thank you for the gift, sir. Our Holy Pharaoh will surely like it."

"Please wait a moment while we inform His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh immediately."

Pachakutek nodded, and soon he heard the sounds coming from the courtyard.

"Please inform His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh, the King of the Incas, that Pachacute has come to pay a visit."

Lin Ke looked at the two guards and nodded in satisfaction: "Very good. Quickly invite that king in and have a seat. Go and prepare some food."

The guards obeyed and left, while Lin Ke stood in the center of the courtyard, waiting quietly.

When the door was fully open, a burly man appeared in the doorway.

Lin Ke was slightly taken aback when she saw this scene.

He had expected the "Stoneshaker" to be a king dressed in magnificent clothes and adorned with numerous ornaments, but the Pachakutek before him was dressed in a relatively simple, yet not simplistic, outfit.

He wore a dark brown wool cloak over his muscular body, with only a leather belt inlaid with a few turquoise stones around his waist. He wore a golden feather headdress, and a huge golden plate with a simple human face on it hung on his chest.

However, the figure only has eyes and a mouth, and it is drawn with the simplest lines.

Pachakutek walked in slowly with his two attendants. His face was very resolute, and to Lin Ke, this appearance seemed somewhat familiar.

He quickly remembered that it was Leonidas, the king of Sparta. The man had a similar sense of determination, and it was clear that this Pachacute was not only a leader, but also a very powerful warrior.

"Sir, this way please."

"My lord, this is His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh of our Holy Egypt."

“Your Majesty, this is the leader of the Inca, King Pachacuti.”

Pachakutek entered with a smile, and was also taken aback when he saw Lin Ke.

He had originally imagined this holy pharaoh to be someone wearing a tall crown and elaborate robes.

But Lin Ke's attire was also beyond his expectations: a simple and flowing robe with a belt around her waist.

The Holy Pharaoh wore only a simple, two-tone, minimalist version of the Double Kings Crown.

The remaining accessories were a green bandage on her wrist, a pendant around her neck, and two rings on her fingers.

But Pachakutek didn't notice anything special about those things. On the contrary, what he cared about most was Lin Ke's eyes with black eyeshadow, which Pachakutek just found a little strange.

Because that made Lin Ke a little more elusive, even a little "seductive".

Of course, it couldn't really be described as glamorous; in short, it just looked very strange to Pachakutk.

He didn't know what eyeshadow was, nor did he know why the Holy Pharaoh would put that color on his eyes.

"Seeing is believing, the Holy Pharaoh of Holy Egypt."

"We have long heard that a powerful civilization has for the first time stepped into the pinnacle of world power."

"I am Pachacuti, the King of the Incas. I apologize for my intrusion."

Pachakutek bowed slightly, and Linke smiled and returned the bow: "It is an honor for Holy Egypt that the King of the Inca civilization would personally visit my humble abode!"

"Please come in, there's no need for formalities."

Pachakutek bowed slightly again, and then, led by the guards, they began to enter the courtyard.

But Pachakutek frowned slightly as he looked around. Clearly, he had also noticed that Saint Egypt, who was attending the World Conference for the first time, was able to stay in a better house.

The courtyard here is much larger than that of Pachakutk.

Moreover, there weren't many people in Holy Egypt, which made Pachakutke feel that Holy Egypt's residence was more spacious.

"Since it is the first time that the Holy Pharaoh has attended the World Conference, we should have been the ones to visit him first, but you have given us gifts instead. We are truly ashamed."

Lin Ke quickly shook his head: "Not at all, we are new here and don't understand many of the rules. We are afraid of offending the leaders here."

"Therefore, I thought it would be better to let the leaders taste the specialties of Holy Egypt first, so as to promote understanding and enhance communication."

"The gift from King Pachakutek is far too precious. I thank you in advance."

"By the way, I wonder if those little trinkets from Holy Egypt would suit King Pachakutek's taste?"

The small items Lin Ke mentioned were, of course, the sacred Egyptian "delicacies" that were given to Pachakutke.

Upon hearing this, the two attendants behind Pachakutek immediately widened their eyes; the answer was obvious.

Pachakutek simply and politely remarked, "The flavor is very unique, Holy Pharaoh."

"What you have given me is far more special than my gift."

The two exchanged a smile at this point.

"Haha, we're in the same boat. However, we're new here and don't know much about this place yet. If we've offended anyone, please forgive us, King Pachakutek."

Pachakutk smiled and said, "Not at all."

At this moment, the guards placed the food on the stone table, and the attendants behind Pachakutek unconsciously swallowed.

“Here you are, and we hope that King Pachakutek will not find this too offensive. This is all food that we brought from Holy Egypt.”

"The finest food of Holy Egypt is not easy to carry, so we can only offer you this much. We hope you will understand."
