Chapter 126: Dialogue with the King

After the Witches and Demons Society joined Holy Egypt, the witch with a succubus-like expression has been following Lin Ke.

There was an inexplicable cunning in her eyes, and she would occasionally lick her lips while looking at Lin Ke's back.

It seems like he could do something unpredictable at any time.

Ramses stood beside her closely, obviously not intending to give her another chance to cause trouble.

He took Ramses into the palace of Atlantis, and the witch and Nan Tong followed them in.

"Hello, King of Atlantis."

"I am the Holy Pharaoh of Holy Egypt."

Lin Ke looked at the haggard king and bowed slightly.

The capital of Atlantis is already in ruins, and he now plans to discuss the next steps with the other party.

After all, this was not his territory, and he could hardly utilize the power of the civilization panel.

Moreover, Ramses couldn't display his full strength here.

"Hello, Holy Pharaoh of Holy Egypt."

"I am Arthas, the king of Atlantis."

"Thank you for your support, otherwise..."

Atlantis did not continue speaking, but everyone knew that if Lin Ke had not summoned the demon, they would not have the opportunity to stand here and talk face to face.

At this moment, the black-robed witch leaned against a broken stone pillar, her fingertips twirling around the ends of her hair.

She put her little finger to her lips and licked it with the tip of her tongue from time to time, while her eyes were looking straight at Lin Ke's eyes with heavy eye shadow.

Ramses kept looking at her, feeling the energy fluctuations around her.

Lin Ke didn't even look at the witch and continued, "King Arthas, you should know the current situation of Atlantis better than I do."

"Your outer city has long been occupied by the enemy, and all the fortresses, passes and transportation routes have fallen into their hands."

"The garrison inside the city failed to hold its position, and the outer city's defenses have completely collapsed."

"As for the situation in the royal capital, the situation is even more serious."

"The palaces and council halls in your core areas were damaged, and the military command center and main fortifications were almost completely destroyed."

Having said this, Lin Ke paused.

He could feel that the other person's breathing quickened a lot when he heard his words.

But he knew that he had to make the king more clearly understand the situation he was in.

Otherwise, he wouldn't think carefully about his next suggestion.

"The prosperity and order of Atlantis no longer exist. Now, your capital is in ruins."

"Your main reserve resources have either been looted or destroyed, and the remaining civilians are displaced. Even if they are conscripted, they will no longer be able to organize an effective counterattack."

"That's why I think the current focus should be on solving people's basic survival issues."

The king of Atlantis narrowed his eyes slightly. He sensed a certain purpose from Lin Ke's words.

But when he turned his head and looked around, he found that there were only a few of his guards left.

So he raised his head and said, "I am all ears, holy Pharaoh of holy Egypt."

Lin Ke still had no expression on his face. He continued, "I think you should lead your people away from here and rebuild your home."

"Holy Egypt is willing to provide your country with all the resources to rebuild Atlantis."

The old king was wrapped in faded scale armor, and his sunken eye sockets were filled with stubbornness: "Our ancestors swore an oath three thousand times before the tides that Atlantis would never leave this bay."

"Thank you for your kindness, Holy Pharaoh."

The witch suddenly chuckled.

She had slid to Lin Ke's left side like a snake without him noticing, her chest almost touching Lin Ke's arm.

"Why would Saint Pharaoh waste his breath on someone as stubborn as a rock? Why don't you just let me kill this old man right here..."

Ramses took a step forward and used his divine power to separate her from Lin Ke.

"Stand back."

The witch stumbled back, with burn marks on her neck that looked like charred fingerprints.

She stared at Ramses fiercely, then flirted with Lin Ke: "If you are tired of this old piece of wood, you can always come to me to relieve your boredom~"

Lin Ke glanced at her and continued to say to Arthas: "I know you have some concerns, please listen to this person's opinion."

Then he turned his gaze to the Amazon warrior at the door, that was Marasia: "Come, the leader of the Amazon."

"Tell me the story of your arrival in Holy Egypt."

Another female warrior supported Marasia and walked slowly towards Lin Ke.

The witch watched her gradually approaching Lin Ke, her eyes became very fierce: "Why can she get close to the Holy Pharaoh?"

"You're still a woman! If you dare to touch the body of the Holy Pharaoh, I will suck all your blood!"

Marasia glanced at her and didn't have the energy to argue with her. Besides, she didn't want to bother with the witch.

"Hello, King of Atlantis, I am Marasia, the leader of the Amazons."

"Since we became a vassal city-state of Holy Egypt, none of our warriors have been killed by famine."

"Moreover, His Majesty the Saint Pharaoh is leading us to help you out of danger today. You should carefully, cautiously, and seriously consider His Majesty the Saint Pharaoh's proposal."

Marasia naturally understood that Lin Ke wanted to make the other party a vassal state, so she almost implicitly warned the other party not to reject Lin Ke's proposal immediately.

After all, Lin Ke paid a considerable price to come here with reinforcements.
