"Such good stuff, we should at least let a few of our close friends try some!"

Pachakutek nodded, swallowing nervously, unsure how to respond.

Musa continued to inspect the various grains, sometimes picking up a bag of beans, sometimes examining a bag of dates, picking each one up and looking at it carefully as if it were a treasure.

Every time he picked up something, he would utter a few words of praise.

As for Pachakutek, he felt as if his heart was about to leap out of his chest, and every second was torture for him.

The stories used for deception were a jumbled mess in his mind, and he didn't know which one was the best lifeline for him at this moment.

Just then, Musa’s attention was drawn to a slightly smaller box.

He crouched down and carefully opened the lid, finding a dozen or so flat, round bread slices neatly arranged inside, sprinkled with sesame seeds.

Musa's eyes lit up, as if he were recalling some fond memories.

"I remember tasting something similar before! It was delicious, crispy, and had a unique spice aroma..."

“That’s right, almost exactly the same as these!”

Musa's voice was just loud enough for everyone present to hear clearly.
