Upon hearing Nan Tong's words, the servant's face almost contorted into a grimace.
He glanced at the magnificent man in front of him, whose face was equally grim, causing the servant to tremble uncontrollably.
He felt both angry and afraid of disgracing the emperor he served.
"What difference does it make if I introduce myself or not?"
"How dare a mere new civilization that has just arrived here be so arrogant!"
"Since you are so familiar with the procedures of the World Conference, how could you not know our identities? It's utterly ridiculous!"
The servant became increasingly arrogant as he spoke, even raising his finger to point to where Nan Tong was.
"Go back to your desert! This isn't a place for country bumpkins like you!"
"You'd better get out of here with your tails between your legs before our great emperor unleashes his fury!"
The servant's words were full of harshness and malice.
The air in the room grew even more tense because of his roar, and some leaders quietly moved away from the eye of the storm.
Nan Tong frowned slightly, preparing to continue her counterattack.
"How audacious!"
"Looks like I need to have someone properly teach you what manners are..."
Nan Tong then walked towards the other person, and when the servant saw Nan Tong's movement, he raised his arm, as if he wanted to utter some more malicious words.
Just then, the overly arrogant servant made a fatal mistake.
He waved his arm exaggeratedly and accidentally bumped into the shoulder of the glamorous man.
With a loud thud, the glamorous figure lost his balance and fell uncontrollably to the side.
He bumped into another person with a "thud".
In that instant, time seemed to stand still.
Everyone held their breath, knowing that this magnificent figure would unleash a thunderous rage afterward, and his fury would likely escalate to an even higher level.
Those present remembered that when this glamorous man entered, an unfortunate servant was humiliated on the spot and expelled from the venue to receive severe punishment simply for lightly brushing against the hem of his robe.
Even the leader he served was expelled from the World Conference.
The glamorous man, already furious about Saint Egypt, was accidentally shoved by his servant and bumped into another person.
Clearly, the person who was hit will likely become the target of his rage.
"you!"
"How dare you!"
Sure enough, the glamorous man's expression changed drastically. His mouth opened, and something seemed to be brewing in his throat, as if thunder was about to burst forth from it.
But when he turned around and saw the person he had bumped into, his expression froze instantly.
Then, it slowly melted into a fawning smile.
A few steps behind the glamorous figure stood a tall, well-built man.
He wore a simple linen robe, without any fancy decorations or conspicuous logos. The only distinguishing features were his bright eyes and slightly messy but energetic curly hair.
He doesn't look imposing or noble, but he naturally exudes an aura that cannot be underestimated.
"Ah! Ah! Your Excellency!"
Why are you only arriving now?
The glamorous person's attitude made a complete 180-degree turn, their voice changing from aggressive to nauseatingly obsequious.
Not only that, but even the expressions of everyone in the venue immediately changed.
Nadir Shah, who had already sat down, even slowly stood up.
"I'm so sorry, it's all my fault for my servant being so impetuous and disturbing you!"
"Please forgive our rudeness! This was completely accidental, and we absolutely did not mean to offend you!"
The man simply looked calmly at the glamorous figures, his face showing neither anger at being offended nor joy at being flattered, but only a detached calmness somewhat similar to Lin Ke's.
"Who gave you the authority to expel the leaders attending the World Conference?"
"Anything that hasn't been decided by a unanimous vote is invalid. Don't you understand that?"
The man frowned slightly as he spoke.
“This is not the first time I’ve noticed that your standards for handling similar situations differ from ours.”
"What, have you lost faith in the World Conference?"
Although this sentence is posed as a question, it lacks the tone of doubt and instead sounds more like an accusation.
Moreover, the leader of the civilization who had just been expelled from the scene by this flamboyant figure stood sullenly behind the man.
This made the glamorous man's face turn deathly pale, and he hurriedly tried to explain.
"This...this is a complete misunderstanding!"
"But it was indeed him who offended me first!"
“His servants touched my body, which is an act of insubordination! Moreover, I did not issue any order to expel him; I merely stated the facts and told him that he was not worthy to be here!”
The glamorous man spoke, but when he saw the man's expression growing increasingly cold, his eyes darted around a few times.
"Of course! I'm magnanimous and won't hold a grudge. This matter will be considered closed!"
"But what brings you here? I remember you weren't going to attend this world conference?"
"Oh! I know your esteemed status is naturally not to be disrespected, but just now, there was indeed a reason for it. It was all because this newly arrived Holy Pharaoh was too arrogant. I was merely using the name of the World Conference to uphold justice for everyone..."
When the glamorous figure reached this point, Leonidas raised his voice from the center: "To uphold justice for everyone?"
"I wonder when it will be your turn to preside over Greece?"
"Or are you representing the Persian leader, and all the other leaders?"
"In that case, you can represent everyone at this world conference, and we can all leave now, how about that?"
Upon hearing this, Pericles frowned slightly, while Nadir Shah chuckled softly at Leonidas's words.
The flamboyant figure frowned at Leonidas: "What are you saying? What I've been saying all along is..."
However, the man next to the glamorous figure exhaled lightly through his nostrils and raised his hand to stop the glamorous figure from speaking.
"Alright, no more explanation needed."
As the man spoke, he turned his gaze to Lin Ke.
Then, a look of appreciation appeared on his face.
“I’ve been watching your performance the whole time, young man.”
"Oh, I'm sorry, I should call you... Holy Pharaoh."
