Lin Ke stood at the entrance of the cave and watched the king of Atlantis walk in. He hesitated for a moment.
He turned his head, and after seeing Ramses nodded, he slowly followed the king in.
He could feel a humid sea breeze blowing through the cave, carrying a faint salty smell.
So he stopped again and turned to look at Ramses again.
"My dear brother, please come in with me."
Ramses nodded, his golden pupils flickering only a few times.
Seeing this, Arthas just slowly told them: "Saint Pharaoh, please rest assured, this place is absolutely safe, and your body will never be contaminated by any sea water."
"Please follow me."
The three of them walked slowly down the narrow tunnel.
The walls on both sides of the tunnel are inlaid with glowing corals, emitting a faint blue light, illuminating the way forward.
"Strange? These corals can survive without seawater?"
Lin Ke was a little confused. The scene in front of him made him a little confused.
"This place is blessed by the power of the sea god. You have actually entered the deep sea."
"But, your body will never be stained with a single drop of sea water, as I just said, because this is a place blessed by the gods."
Hearing this, Lin Ke just nodded and continued forward.
As they went deeper and deeper, Lin Ke felt that the surroundings were gradually becoming cooler, and he could even faintly hear the sound of waves in his ears.
"This tunnel leads to the ocean floor."
Arthas explained as they walked: "It connects to the most sacred place in Atlantis."
"Deep Sea Blue Ring."
"Deep Sea Blue Ring?" Lin Ke repeated the name, with a hint of curiosity in his eyes.
What a novel name!
However, the name did remind him of the blue-ringed octopus, although there was naturally no connection between the animal and the name.
"Yes."
There was a hint of pride in Arthas' voice: "That is the origin of our civilization and the witness of our coexistence with the sea for thousands of years."
After walking for about half an hour, the tunnel gradually became wider and finally they came to a huge circular cave.
The sunlight shines through the sea water, forming swaying shadows in the cave.
"oh."
Lin Ke's attention was immediately attracted by the scene before him.
In the center of the cave is a huge circular coral reef with colorful corals, which is simply an underwater garden.
In the center of the coral reef is a circular area of deep blue water. The water here is as calm as a mirror, reflecting the light and shadows above.
"This is the Deep Sea Blue Ring."
Awe appeared in Arthas’ voice: “It is a symbol of our civilization and our bond with the sea.”
Lin Ke walked closer to the coral reef and reached out to gently touch the glowing coral.
The surface of the coral was cool and smooth, and it trembled slightly.
He looked up and could see through the water a school of colorful fish swimming by, their scales gleaming brightly in the sun.
"oh!"
Lin Ke couldn't help but say something. In his opinion, such a scene was even more shocking than the appearance of the demon Baphomet.
“The ecology here is very unique.”
Arthas continued, “The waters surrounding the Deep Blue Ring are home to countless rare marine life.”
"Look over there—"
He pointed to a corner of the coral reef. Lin Ke followed his gaze and saw a group of glowing deep-sea fish swimming among the corals.
Their bodies emit a faint blue light, like moving stars.
Not far away, a giant octopus was swimming slowly, its tentacles gently brushing the corals, as if caressing a precious work of art.
"These creatures are part of our civilization."
Arthas' voice was filled with emotion: "We have coexisted with them for thousands of years, relying on each other and protecting each other."
Lin Ke's eyes swept across the entire cave, and he couldn't help but marvel at the wonders of nature.
Every inch of space here is full of vitality, it is completely an independent underwater world.
He turned to look at Arthas: "How did you find this place?"
"Legend has it that our ancestors were swept into this sea by the waves during a shipwreck."
Arthas explained: "They were protected by the sea god in the deep blue ring and built the first city here."
“Since then, this place has become our holy place.”
Lin Ke nodded, his eyes falling on the deep blue waters again.
This place is like a portal to another world.
He suddenly felt an inexplicable attraction, as if something was calling him.
"Would you like to go down and take a look?" asked Arthas.
Lin Ke hesitated for a moment and turned to look at Ramses.
Ramses nodded slightly, which meant it was safe.
Lin Ke took a breath and nodded: "Okay."
Arthas led them to the side of the cave and then slowly into the deep blue waters.
The underwater world is even more magical than Lin Ke had imagined.
The coral reef appears even more colorful underwater, with countless luminous deep-sea creatures swimming around.
Lin Ke reached out and gently touched a glowing fish, and its body immediately flashed with dazzling light, as if responding to his touch.
They continued to dive, passing through patches of coral, and finally came to the center of the deep sea blue ring.
The waters here are deeper and the surrounding light gradually becomes dimmer, but the light of the coral reefs becomes more dazzling.
