The leaders all shook their heads. The Inca civilization envoy was the first representative to join the Civilization Alliance.
“Your Majesty, please forgive our shortsightedness, which is not as far-sighted as yours,” Arthas said.
Lin Ke smiled and said gently, "The Civilization Alliance is not just a substitute for a world conference, but the only way out for small and medium-sized countries like ours."
“Every civilization has its advantages and disadvantages due to its geographical location and unique characteristics.”
"To be self-sufficient and independent as you say sounds easy, but it is almost impossible."
"Please think about it, leaders: who among you has never traded with other countries?"
"And who among you has not sought help from neighboring countries when your own granaries are empty or other necessities are scarce?"
Lin Ke's question silenced the leaders, especially Arthas of Atlantis, who wore a look of deep agreement.
If it weren't for the aid from Holy Egypt, Atlantis might have been destroyed by the Hebrew Empire long ago.
Seeing that the leaders seemed to understand, Lin Ke's voice rang out like a booming bell: "No civilization can exist in isolation."
“If our Holy Egyptian Alliance continues to fantasize about self-sufficiency, the Inca civilization will become our example.”
"What should we do if one day those powerful countries monopolize necessities? How will we stand in the world?"
Marasia nodded: "Your Majesty, we understand what you mean."
Kamul echoed, "Your Majesty, I am in awe of your brilliant ideas."
Lin Ke smiled slightly: "In that case, leaders, you must pay close attention to your connections with the surrounding civilizations, especially in trade!"
"Yes! We will keep your great vision in mind," the leaders said in unison.
"Then let's go." Lin Ke gestured to several soldiers to escort the leaders out of the palace.
Not long after the leaders left the palace, several soldiers came in from outside and reported to Lin Ke: "Your Majesty, another envoy has come to see you in person."
Lin Ke nodded: "Let him in."
He wondered which civilization's envoy it was. He vaguely remembered that at the end of the World Conference, several civilization leaders had caught up with him and said they would send envoys to Holy Egypt.
"Clang!" A clear sound came from outside, and a person adorned with gold walked in.
Lin Ke recognized him from his sparkly attire; he must be an envoy from the Malian civilization.
As expected, the envoy knelt down and said respectfully, "Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh, the King of Travel has sent me to negotiate with you."
Lin Ke raised the corners of her mouth slightly: "Get up, let me hear what the clan king has to say."
The envoy rose and said, "Your Majesty, the King of the Clan is willing to work with you to establish a united organization of civilizations."
"However, in name only, the Mali civilization cannot become a member of the Civilization Alliance, but we will support Holy Egypt through trade!"
Lin Ke understood. The Malian civilization was ultimately constrained by several major trading nations and could not directly break free from the World Conference to join the newly established organization founded by Lin Ke.
Even so, Lin Ke was very satisfied.
It's important to understand that the Malian civilization possessed abundant trade resources, and establishing trade routes with them would be a tremendous benefit for Holy Egypt.
He then smiled and said, "We, Holy Egypt, will remember the great sacrifices made by the Malian civilization."
“Tell your king that Holy Egypt will establish trade routes with you, making the friendship between the two countries even stronger.”
A hint of emotion flashed across the face of the envoy from the Malian civilization: "The king will surely be grateful for the great favor bestowed upon His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh."
The envoy slowly withdrew, and the palace finally fell silent.
Lin Ke has been gone for many days, and the documents that need his approval have piled up like a mountain.
Camur picked out some documents from a large pile, placed them on the table, and said carefully:
“Your Majesty, these are relatively important documents. You may approve them first.”
Lin Ke glanced at the documents on the table, gave a wry smile, and realized that he had just returned to Cairo and already had to approve documents again.
He kept approving the documents without stopping until it was getting late, when he finally finished processing all of these "important documents".
He opened the civilization panel; the [Diplomatic Alliance] was ready.
Now that he has sent his first envoy to another civilization, it can be considered as two envoys, which is of great significance.
By simply adding one more envoy to the existing two, a completely new civilization could come to regard Holy Egypt as its suzerain state.
After pondering for a while, he took the lead in sending envoys to the Inca civilization.
Given its current international standing and close relationship with Holy Egypt, the Inca civilization is a better choice to be an ally of Holy Egypt.
Next, he added 1 to the trade routes of the Inca and Mali civilizations.
After doing all this, Lin Ke finally fell asleep, exhausted.
Meanwhile, in Norway, in the city of Nidaros.
“Your Majesty, these are the stubborn city-states that still refuse to accept you.” A Viking warrior carefully handed a papyrus to the figure on the throne.
On the throne sat a burly man, with two enormous axes planted on either side of Olaf's throne.
This is Olaf, the new king of the Viking warriors, who will soon become the new king of Norway.
Yes, it's about to happen.
Although the Viking warriors on the journey acknowledged him and elected him as their new king, many Viking warriors were not truly convinced of his authority.
After these soldiers returned to Norway, they sparked unrest throughout the country.
Today, they are all gathered in Bergen, Norway's second-largest city.
However, Olaf had anticipated this situation. He suddenly stood up and picked up two axes with both hands.
"Come on! I'm ready for battle."
"Only those who have been baptized in blood and fire are qualified to become the new king of Norway."
"I will lead the Norwegian Viking warriors to avenge the distant Holy Egyptian Pharaoh."
"Until then, no one can stop me."
Olaf's impassioned words immediately drew cheers from the many Viking warriors.
"Let these foolish rebels see the might of our new king."
Olaf's eyes flashed with fighting spirit, but within that fighting spirit was a layer of exhaustion.
Few Viking warriors had successfully returned to Norway after being pursued by Saint Egypt, and he did not want to lose more Viking warriors in this war to unify Norway.
But if you back down, you will be seen as cowardly.
He must come up with a foolproof plan.
