Chapter 133 The Royal Capital, Cairo!

"Holy Pharaoh, is this it?"

Arthas, the king of Atlantis, stood on the bank of the Nile, looking into the distance.

There was some hesitation in his voice, because the scene before him was unbelievable to him.

Because, looking further away from the Nile River, there is an endless desert.

The golden sand dunes sparkle dazzlingly in the sun, and here is another still "sea".

The wind blew up the fine sand, forming golden gauze in the air.

Behind Arthas, several Atlantis soldiers followed.

Their eyes were also attracted by the scene before them, and their faces were full of shock and confusion.

“Is this the desert?”

"No water, no life, only endless sand!"

“It’s spectacular!”

As Arthas listened to people's words, he returned to his past memories.

As the king of Atlantis, he had seen countless magnificent ocean scenes.

The blue sea, the colorful coral reefs, the whales jumping out of the sea...

But the desert before him gave him an unprecedented shock.

If you hadn't seen it with your own eyes, you would never have felt the impact the desert has brought to these maritime peoples.

"Holy Pharaoh."

Arthas then spoke slowly: "I know it is difficult to grow crops in the desert. In the past, famine often occurred in desert areas."

"I wonder if Saint Egypt still has enough food and grass now?"

"If it's not enough, I can use the treasure of Atlantis to buy some from the surrounding kingdoms."

Lin Ke stood beside him, and he knew very well that the other party was very worried about the food problem.

Of course, this is understandable. After all, there are thousands of mouths to feed in Atlantis.

“Although the desert is desolate, it also has its own life.”

"Look, there is water, plants, and even animals there."

"As for food, you don't have to worry about it. I will prepare it for you in advance."

Lin Ke was not worried about food, as a lot of it had already been stored in Cairo.

They can't even finish it themselves.

Arthas then continued, "Our people have never seen anything like this."

"They are used to the vastness and freedom of the ocean, the salty and wet sea breeze and the sound of the waves."

"This desert is too unfamiliar to them."

What this means is that Arthas is worried that his people may not be able to adapt to the environment here.

Lin Ke just nodded after hearing what he said, "Being unfamiliar doesn't mean that you can't adapt."

"Your ancestors also walked out of the ocean and established the great Atlantis."

"Now, you need to adapt to the new environment again, just like your predecessors did."

Arthas nodded, and there was a little more appreciation in his eyes when he looked at Link.

"You are young, but your vision and perspective are as profound as those of a god."

Lin Ke just waved his hand: "You are too kind."

"As long as you are willing, I will help you build a new home here."

"It will probably take a few days for our new city to be completed, so you can rest in Cairo first."

Arthas nodded and did not mention the bet about the new city again.

This is the territory of the Holy Pharaoh, and they now have to rely on his help.

Although Arthas still felt that it was impossible to build a new city within a few days, he did not mention it again.

As long as the people can be settled, that's enough.

Arthas' eyes were filled with gratitude. He bowed slightly to Lin Ke: "Thank you, Holy Pharaoh."

Lin Ke waved her hand again: "It's a win-win situation."

At this time, Lin Ke's fleet slowly sailed into the mouth of the Nile River. The golden sunlight sprinkled on the sails, reflecting the flag of Holy Egypt.

Desert and Nile River banner.

Before the fleet docked, thunderous cheers were heard from the direction of Cairo.

That's because the news of victory had already spread throughout the city.

"His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh personally commanded and repelled the Hebrew army!"

"Oh! Our most supreme and great Holy Pharaoh!"

Linke led the army to repel the Hebrew invasion and protect Atlantis.

For the people of Holy Egypt, this has won supreme glory for Holy Egypt.

The streets of Cairo were already crowded with celebrating crowds.

"Ah! The light of Ra shines upon His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh!"

The priests held golden scepters and wore eagle feather crowns symbolizing the sun god. They stood on the high platform of the temple and sang hymns in praise of the holy pharaoh.

"His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh is back!"

"His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh is back!"

Several children shouted excitedly, and he waved a small flag in his hand with patterns of the gods of the desert and the Nile embroidered on it.

At first glance, it looks like a little man that shines with golden light.

"Quick, fill the streets with flowers!"

An elderly woman directed several young men as they scattered baskets of fresh lotus and palm leaves along the road.

The lotus is one of the holy Egyptian symbols, it represents life and rebirth.

As for palm leaves, they symbolize victory and prosperity.

Merchants also took action, placing the best spices and fine wines in front of their shops, ready to present to the triumphant army.

The air was filled with the intoxicating scent of myrrh and frankincense, mixed with the aroma of baking bread and mead.

"Look! That's the fleet of the Holy Pharaoh!" someone shouted, pointing at the river in the distance.

As the fleet docked and the army headed towards Cairo, the celebration in the city reached its climax.
