"Then the problem is most likely to occur in these places."
Lin Ke stood in front of the sand table in the parliament hall, took out his baton and pointed at several areas.
There were several Egyptian cities occupied by the Hebrews, a large number of them, about a dozen.
After saying that, Lin Ke's fingers gently stroked the edge of the sand table, and his eyes swept over the city on the sand table several times.
After confirming it, he spoke.
“Look, these are the cities that the Hebrews have taken.”
"Just earlier, Nan Tong told me what he saw."
"What he saw through the crocodile king's eggshell was the scene of the Egyptians abandoning their faith and destroying stone statues and temples in the cities occupied by the Hebrews."
“And what the God of the Desert and the Nile heard was the voice of the ancient gods gradually weakening and on the verge of extinction.”
"Don't you two think there might be some connection between the two?"
He raised his head, first looked at Nan Tong, and then looked at Ramses.
But the two of them just looked at each other, and then continued to wait for Lin Ke to speak.
"I speculate that the reason why the ancient Egyptian gods are disappearing may be related to these two factors, or a high degree of correlation with one of them."
"Therefore, our most urgent task now is to select an Egyptian city occupied by the Hebrews and attack it."
Nan Tong nodded, his eyes brightening slightly: "Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh is wise!"
“But the old minister believes that we must choose our targets carefully.”
"This city cannot be too difficult to attack, otherwise it will greatly damage the vitality of Holy Egypt."
"At the same time, there must be a standard stone statue or a special temple. Otherwise, even if we recapture the city, we still won't be able to stop the ancient god from disappearing."
When Lin Ke heard this, he snapped his fingers. He knew that Nan Tong understood what he meant.
Ramses' eyes flashed with golden light: "The key to choosing a target is the balance between difficulty and value."
"We need a city that can be captured quickly and have a significant impact on the revival of the ancient gods."
Lin Ke nodded, then he motioned for the two to come forward. He intended to listen to their ideas first.
Nan Tong walked to the sand table and pointed to several cities not far from Cairo: "First, we can consider Heliopolis."
"The city is located in the eastern part of the Nile Delta, just a few days away from Cairo."
"It is the religious center of the sun god Ra, and there is a large sun temple in the city."
“And, I don’t think there is any temple today that can compare to the Temple of the Sun.”
He paused, pointed to the outer edge of the city, and continued, "However, the defenses of Heliopolis are relatively strong, and the Hebrews have stationed a large number of troops there."
"If we choose to attack here, it may cost us a great deal."
Lin Ke nodded and motioned for him to continue.
Nan Tong's finger moved to another city: "Another choice is 'Fustat'."
"This city is located on the west bank of the Nile River and has many important temples."
"Fustat's strategic location is very important, and retaking it could cut off a vital supply line for the Hebrews."
"However, there are many Hebrew troops around Fustat. If we want to attack, we must adopt a blitzkrieg strategy. If we fail, we must retreat immediately."
Finally, he pointed to the third city: "Another option is Pasaybek."
"This city is located on the banks of the Nile River. Its temple is dedicated to Horus, the eagle god, and Sobek, the crocodile god. It is the only temple in Egypt that worships two gods at the same time."
“Pasebek is far from Cairo, and the Hebrews’ defense is relatively weak.”
“If we choose to attack Pasaybek, our chances of success will be higher.
"But Pasebak is far away and takes a long time to march, which may alert the Hebrews and cause them to send more troops to support them."
Ramses' eyes flashed with golden light, and he seemed to appreciate Nan Tong's words: "Nantong's analysis makes sense. I can help you make a judgment based on the faint aura left in the temple thousands of years ago."
He walked to the sand table, gently ran his fingers over several key locations, and his eyes kept flashing.
"According to my perception, the aura of the ancient gods was strongest in Heliopolis and Pasaybek."
"The temples of these two cities were once the center of Egyptian worship."
"If we can recapture one of them, perhaps we can stop the ancient god from dissipating and find a way to awaken him."
His eyes flickered again, and then he continued, "However, the defenses of Heliopolis are stronger, and the success rate of attacking here is lower."
“Although Pasebak is farther away, the aura of the ancient gods is no less than that of Heliopolis.”
"If we choose Pasaybek, the chances of retaking the city will be much higher."
"Because of the remote geographical location of Pasebak, the Hebrews' defense was relatively weak."
"If we can plan our operations ahead of time, we may be able to retake Pasaybek before they can react."
Lin Ke listened to Nan Tong and Ramses' analysis and tapped the edge of the sand table with his fingers.
"Heliopolis, Fustat, Pasebek..."
He raised his head and looked at Nan Tong and Ramses: "Your analysis makes sense."
"Heliopolis has the temple of the sun god Ra, which is of the highest value, but at the same time, the risk is also very high."
