Early morning in Pasay City.
There was no cracking of whips, no sounds of insults, and no wails or screams of pain.
Only in a few places the flames were still flickering, but when the sun came out the light could no longer be seen.
Maybe it's because the sun is brighter, or maybe it's because it can't burn that long.
On the streets, the warriors of Holy Egypt were busy clearing the rubble and rescuing the wounded, while more Egyptian civilians were released from prison.
When they saw the sun again, some Egyptians still had a light of "hope" in their eyes, while others were filled with fatigue and numbness.
Their souls may have been broken by the torture of the Hebrews and the darkness in which there was no hope.
At this time, a middle-aged man staggered out of the slave camp, his eyes anxiously searching for something in the crowd.
Suddenly, he stopped and tears welled up in his eyes.
Not far away, a thin young man was standing blankly beside two Holy Egyptian warriors, his face covered with dust and blood.
He was chewing a small piece of bread, and as he tasted the flavor he looked at the soldier beside him with a grin.
The man immediately rushed over and hugged the boy tightly, his voice choking with sobs: "My son! You are still alive, you are still alive!"
"Son!"
The boy was confused at first, but then he recognized his father's face.
He immediately burst into tears, not even caring about the half piece of delicious bread in his mouth.
The father and son hugged each other tightly. The surrounding Egyptian civilians and slaves watched this scene. Some showed relieved smiles, while others lowered their heads with bitterness in their eyes.
Because their families have left forever.
On the other side, an elderly woman sat alone beside the ruins, tightly holding a piece of tattered cloth in her hand. It was the clothes her daughter had worn when she was alive.
Her eyes were empty, as if she was just a shell of herself.
She lost her house and all her family members died at the hands of the Hebrews.
As the Holy Pharaoh, Lin Ke naturally knew that he must now find a way to inform his people of the situation while giving them new hope.
Not only is it needed by the people, but also because of the "loyalty" displayed on the civilization panel.
The loyalty of the city of Pasaybek is now the lowest among all the cities in Holy Egypt. Lin Ke is very clear that if he does not handle this problem well, this city will become the one with the most problems.
So, even after staying up all night, Lin Ke did not choose to rest. Instead, he and Nan Tong walked straight to the highest point of Passebek City.
That is the tall building that originally belonged to the great alchemist.
The top of the building overlooks the entire city. At this moment, this place is about to become the podium for Lin Ke to declare his victory.
Nan Tong followed closely behind, the magic power in his hands leaping slightly.
He came to Lin Ke's side, bowed and whispered: "Your Majesty, Holy Pharaoh, everything is ready."
Lin Ke nodded and looked at the city below: "Okay, let's get started."
The magic power in Nan Tong's hand increased slightly, and then a soft light enveloped Lin Ke's body.
His voice echoed everywhere and reached every corner of the city of Pasaybek.
"People of Pasebak!"
"I am the Holy Pharaoh of Holy Egypt!"
The Egyptian civilians in the city raised their heads and looked in the direction where Lin Ke was.
There was confusion and expectation in their eyes. For many of them, this was the first time they saw the Holy Pharaoh.
“The city of Pasayback was once our wonderful home.”
"We have lived here for generations, sharing the sunshine with our families and enjoying the blessings of the Nile."
"But the Hebrew cavalry took over here."
"They massacred our families, stripped us of our dignity and destroyed our faith."
"We were forced into slavery, living in endless darkness and misery."
"The old gods are trapped in darkness and cannot lend a helping hand, and our resistance will only bring us more severe retaliation."
“I saw all of this.”
"I, the Holy Pharaoh of Holy Egypt, saw it all!"
Lin Ke raised his voice, and the Egyptian civilians in the city swallowed their saliva, with more bloodshot in their eyes.
The memories of losing their loved ones and the days of slavery seemed to resurface before their eyes.
"I also saw your unyielding heart!"
"Many of you, like Amon, may have faith in your heart, but in order to protect your family, you can only choose to endure humiliation and live in disgrace."
"And many more people, like Wadi, never give up the belief in resistance!"
"But your indomitable spirit! Your perseverance! It is the symbol of the Holy Egyptian spirit!"
Hearing the names of Amon and Wadi, many Egyptian civilians' eyes were filled with shock.
They not only remembered their compatriots who fought for freedom, but also remembered those who still held on to hope in the darkness.
But what shocked them the most was that this king, the Holy Pharaoh, could easily say the names of these lowly people.
At this moment, Lin Ke's voice rose again, like thunder.
"Today, the city of Pasaybek is liberated!"
“The Hebrew tyranny has been overthrown, and our people are free again!”
"But this is not just my victory, it's your victory!"
"Victory for every Egyptian who fought for freedom!"
