Chapter 167: Holy Pharaoh's Reward

A few days ago.

Inside the palace of Holy Egypt.

As the Holy Egyptian army was preparing to set out for the city of Pasadena.

"Hey, Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh, please give me a little reward."

"Is it okay? Is it okay~"

"I don't want gold, silver, treasures, or palaces~"

The witch's voice was charming and gentle, making people feel their bones go soft.

She twisted her slender waist, and her plain Hebrew robe swayed gently with her movements.

Lin Ke's makeup artist had just finished putting the finishing touches on the witch's make-up, making sure she looked like an ordinary Hebrew woman.

However, the temperament of a witch is completely different from that of an ordinary woman.

She had a white veil like a Hebrew woman on her head, but the pair of enchanting eyes underneath the veil were not concealed at all, making them even more eye-catching.

Although this dress was intended to allow her to blend into the Hebrew city of Fustat, it looked particularly seductive on her.

If an ordinary man saw her, he would have fallen at her feet long ago.

But Lin Ke just sat on the throne and looked at her expressionlessly: "No."

Because Lin Ke's mind was full of plans to capture the city at this time, and he was in no mood to joke.

Lin Ke just looked at the witch calmly: "If you can't do it, I will change to Malacia."

When the witch heard this, she immediately came close to Lin Ke.

Her slender fingers gently rested on his shoulders, and her voice was a little coquettish: "No, no, since it is the order of His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh, how dare I not obey it?"

She blinked, and her long eyelashes fluttered gently like butterfly wings.

The guard at the door couldn't help swallowing when he heard the seductive voice.

Although the sound was slight, it did not escape the witch's ears.

She turned her head suddenly and stared at the soldier fiercely, and the seductive look in her eyes disappeared instantly.

Instead, there was a demonic face that was full of contempt and anger.

The soldier was so frightened that he immediately straightened his chest, looked straight ahead, and big drops of cold sweat oozed out of his forehead.

Lin Ke just glanced at the witch at this time, and then said lightly: "Gathering intelligence is a serious matter, and it must not be taken lightly."

"If you can complete the task, I will have a reward."

When the witch heard what Lin Ke said, she blinked twice playfully and blushed to her ears: "Ah~ The reward from His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh~"

"I can't wait any longer~"

Then the witch set out towards Folstat alone.

About two days later, the witch arrived at her destination.

She successfully sneaked into the city of Fustat and began to gather intelligence.

Hebrew soldiers were patrolling the city, while in the shops on both sides of the street, vendors were shouting and selling various goods.

"Take a look. Take a look."

“This is the finest scarf from Jerusalem.”

The witch was wearing a headscarf and walking on the street with her head down. She looked no different from an ordinary Hebrew woman.

She was observing the surroundings, thinking about how to complete the task assigned to her by Lin Ke.

Soon her eyes locked on a few Hebrew officers who were chatting outside the tavern.

These officers looked young, and for her, they were the best targets.

Then the witch's mouth corners slightly raised.

She first walked to the door of the tavern, pretended to accidentally trip over the threshold, leaned forward slightly, and let out a soft cry.

"oops."

The officers immediately noticed the tender sound of surprise, and one of them stepped forward quickly and held her arm.

"Be careful, miss, don't fall." The officer's voice was very gentle, but his eyes involuntarily lingered on the witch's eyes.

The witch raised her head, and with her eyes she looked pitiful: "Thank you, sir. I, I just felt a little dizzy."

Her voice was soft and sweet, like a whirlpool of honey, which immediately attracted the hearts of the bachelors.

The officer's eyes turned into an infatuated one, and he quickly said, "Miss, come in and sit down and rest for a while?"

"We bought a lot of wine, so we can keep each other company and chat, what do you think?"

The witch nodded shyly, with a little blush in the corners of her eyes: "Then thank you for your help, sir."

In the tavern, the witch sat among several officers, who immediately turned into gentlemen with dignified and elegant movements.

There was a subtle charm in her eyes that made these burly men blush.

Of course, they would just say it was because they drank too much.

After just a brief greeting, these officers rushed to pour her wine, pass her food, and began to compete for her attention.

That's a sign of courtship.

"Miss, where are you from?" an officer asked with bright eyes.

The witch raised her little finger and gently pulled down the hood that covered half of her face, revealing the remaining half of her face.

Then, she took a sip of her wine and said softly, "I came from Jerusalem to visit my relatives."

Another officer's eyes flashed with surprise: "Jerusalem?"

"That's the capital! Did you come from there alone?"

The witch nodded, lowered her eyes, and revealed a little sadness: "Yes, my grandfather passed away, and I was worried that my grandmother would be too sad, so I came to see her."

"But after leaving the capital, I realized how dangerous it is to travel far away alone."
