Chapter 171 Isn’t there only one mummy here?

Ramses sensed the divine power.

Moreover, the distance is not far.

Doesn't that mean they can get in touch with another ancient god?

As long as we can get the help of one more god, the chances of capturing the city of Fustat will be greatly improved!

But Lin Ke was a little confused as to why Ramses told him only now.

Ramses saw through Lin Ke's doubts: "When the army marched to this area, I intermittently sensed some of the breath of the gods."

In other words, if the army continued to march towards Fustat, Ramses would sooner or later feel the breath of the gods.

It's just a matter of time, whether it is discovered earlier or later.

Hearing Ramses' words, Lin Ke nodded gently: "Then I'll trouble you to lead the way, God of the Desert and the Nile."

Ramses' golden eyes flashed, he nodded, and headed to the front of the army.

At this moment, Nan Tong picked up the map and studied it carefully for a while.

He slid his finger left and right on the map, frowning slightly: "Your Majesty, there is one thing I don't understand."

"The nearest temple is in Fustat, and there are no other temples nearby."

Lin Ke took Nan Tong's map and looked at it. Nan Tong had already marked some temples on this map in advance.

The facts are exactly as he said.

"Without a temple, how could Ramses establish a link between the gods and the mummies?"

Lin Ke recalled carefully that Ramses sensed the sky god Horus and the crocodile god Sobek on the day he entered Pasebek.

Ramses now sensed some divine power intermittently, which meant that they were actually approaching an area with a place like a "temple".

But Nan Tong was not drawn on the map, which means that the god was not worshipped, or more accurately, the god did not have his own temple.

A god without a temple?

At this moment, an idea suddenly flashed through Lin Ke's mind.

He looked at Nan Tong and said, "Nantong, who else has similar powers to Horus, the sky god, and Sobek, the crocodile god, but is not worshipped in a temple?"

Nan Tong frowned slightly and looked at Lin Ke.

The two people's eyes met, and the same light flashed in an instant.

But none of them said anything, they just nodded silently.

Lin Ke was a little nervous at this time. He knew very well that if he could get the help of this god, taking down Fustat would not be a problem at all.

What Ramses sensed was most likely a very special place.

Nan Tong's eyes fell on the map again, and he pointed to an area: "Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh, we are now heading towards a large cemetery."

Lin Ke nodded slowly.

Yes, a cemetery, very consistent with that god.

The army continued to advance, and soon, a huge and eerie cemetery appeared in their sight.

At the entrance of the cemetery stand two huge stone statues with blurred faces.

The cemetery is surrounded by towering sand dunes, which tightly wrap the cemetery.

However, strangely enough, despite the surrounding sand dunes towering like hills, not a single grain of sand has invaded the confines of the cemetery.

Apparently, the cemetery was protected by some invisible force, and the sand on the sand dunes could not move forward any further when approaching the cemetery.

Ramses' gaze swept across the cemetery, and golden light flashed in his eyes a few times.

He stopped and said, "Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh, no one else can go any further."

"Otherwise, I won't be able to feel the breath of God."

"The living are not welcome to approach the cemetery."

"So, only you and I can enter it."

Everyone was shocked when they heard this, but their expressions returned to normal.

After all, His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh was "reborn" after his organs were reassembled.

Strictly speaking, he cannot be considered a "normal" living person.

Lin Ke nodded and glanced at the soldiers behind him: "The entire army is stationed here. No one is allowed to approach the cemetery without my order."

The soldiers responded in unison: "Yes, Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh!"

Then he turned to Ramses and said, "Let's go."

The two of them walked slowly into the cemetery, one in front and one behind.

The inside of the cemetery is even more eerie than the outside.

The ground was covered with thick sand, in which a few broken stone tablets could occasionally be seen.

The stone tablet is engraved with ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, but those patterns have become blurred and difficult to distinguish.

In the center of the cemetery stands a huge sarcophagus.

Around the sarcophagus, there are several broken stone statues with hideous faces, as if they are guarding something important.

Ramses' gaze swept across the sarcophagus, and the golden light in his eyes began to flicker regularly.

He whispered, "Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh, the aura of the gods here is much stronger than outside."

"That god is right here."

Lin Ke looked around and asked Ramses again: "Are you sure?"

Ramses nodded, his voice calm, "Yes."

"This is the resonance that only occurs between gods."

But Lin Ke just looked at the sarcophagus in front of him: "It seems that we have to open this sarcophagus."

"What do you think is in there?"

Ramses shook his head and said, "Brother, I cannot see what is inside."

"However, you have to be careful, opening the sarcophagus may lead to some unpredictable consequences."
