Chapter 356 Our magic is the power of eternal night

The black shadow raised his arm slightly, and it was obvious that his eyes were also dazzled by the dazzling light.

He squinted his eyes and covered his face with his hands. The bone beads shook twice, making a few "tapping" sounds.

But he was not in a hurry. He just slowly put his arm down and looked straight in the direction where the light had appeared.

Then, the black shadow glanced at the person who made the sound and snorted.

"No wonder only two people dared to break in. It turns out they know some magic."

“That’s really interesting.”

He dropped his hands and stood up, the sand on his robe sliding down slowly and falling in a heap at his feet.

He pointed at Nan Tong.

"What did you say?"

"Insulting His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh? No one can leave alive."

Then, the black shadow put his hand to his ear and made a look as if to say, "I didn't hear what you just said."

"How ridiculous, how ridiculous!"

"Where do you think this is?"

"Those who are here are all magic instructors and great magicians!"

"You know, the number of magicians in the Egyptian capital is not even enough to compare with us."

Remheb was standing next to the dark shadow, and when he heard this, he just wanted to laugh.

Obviously, this guy has no idea what the current situation of Holy Egypt is.

He even thought that Egypt was still the same Egypt when it was invaded by the Hebrew Empire.

Perhaps, in his view, the main reason why the Hebrew Empire withdrew its troops was because of Hebrew itself.

Not Holy Egypt.

Therefore, he has no sense of belonging or good feelings towards Egypt at all.

"You think you know a few tricks, so you dare to come to our territory and act wildly?"

"Your flash magic is, at best, only at the level of a great magician, right? I'm afraid you're not even a magic instructor."

"You don't think that just because this is a border city, you can rely on that little bit of magic power to bully others, right?"

The black shadow took a step forward, and several people holding wooden sticks behind him raised their sticks high.

The snake's eyes embedded in red stone lit up for a moment.

He stared at Nan Tong and said slowly, "Don't you, Holy Egypt, claim to be protected by gods?"

"If you are so powerful, why don't you send a god over?"

"You are the only magician sent?"

Having said this, he glanced around, but only saw Nan Tong.

The shadow didn't know Remheb was beside him yet, and he thought the other's companion had not yet appeared.

"Why haven't your companions shown up yet?"

"Do you want to continue pretending?"

"If that happens, your companion will die."

The dark shadow turned his head a few more times, but he still couldn't find where the enemy's companions were.

"That's really interesting."

"Now that your identity has been exposed, why don't you take off your robe?"

"Why haven't your companions shown up yet?"

"say!"

Nan Tong ignored him and just glanced at Remheb.

He could probably figure out that the reason Remheb didn't say anything was probably because he was stalling for time.

So, after Nan Tong finished speaking, he just responded with silence.

"Sir, you should let him see what real magic is."

"These people from the capital are so self-righteous. They think they are so powerful just because they are from the capital."

"We must let him see the true magical power of the Great Apep."

The shadow listened and nodded.

He waved his hand, and then a burst of green smoke came out of the fire, burning more fiercely, and the bloody smell emanating from the sand dunes mixed with a strange stench that made people's heads numb.

The shadow pointed at Nan Tong and raised his voice again: "You can't stop Apep's will."

"Our magic is the dark power of eternal night. With your tricks, you are not even worthy of being our servant!"

He grabbed a handful of black sand and threw it into the fire, and the green flames shot higher.

Then the shadow called out to the magicians: "Show them what you can do!"

Several magicians immediately raised their wooden staffs, and the light of the redstone immediately connected into one.

The red light condensed into magic and transformed into a terrifying giant snake.

The big snake fell in front of Nan Tong, and the dark area was completely covered with red light.

Nan Tong remained motionless, he looked like a tree.

Even though magic power exploded in front of him, he said nothing and made no move.

Seeing him like this, the black shadow just sneered again: "Why, are you scared to the point of peeing your pants?"

"If you want to blame someone, blame your fake Pharaoh for sending you here to die! You followed the wrong person, so you can't blame anyone else!"

When the black shadow saw that Nan Tong had not spoken or moved, he was probably certain that the other party must have been so scared that he couldn't speak.

So he just took another step forward.

"You're so scared that you can't even speak?"

"How pitiful."

"Where's your courage to come here alone, huh?"

"Could it be that you are afraid now that you know the truth?"

Nan Tong still didn't say a word. His face was covered by the brim of his robe in the dim light, and no one could see his face clearly.

"I'm giving you two choices now."

"First, you kneel down on the ground right now and admit your mistake to us."

"I want to hear from you that your Holy Pharaoh is a tyrant. He sent you to die. He is not worthy of being king. The real king should belong to the great Apep."
