The guards immediately stopped him, but the tension and fear in the sentry's eyes had already passed through the guards and reached the command tent.
"What's the matter?" Samar's voice was cold, and it came through the curtains.
The guard hesitated for a moment, but still walked quickly into the tent and whispered, "Sir, there is an urgent report outside - about the garrison."
Samar raised his eyebrows, and there was immediately a hint of suspicion in his eyes.
He stood up, walked to the curtain, and called the sentry outside in.
The sentry knelt down while panting, and said in a hurried voice: "Sir, I saw three magicians coming towards the station with my own eyes. Two of them were shining with golden light, and the other... the other one was floating in the air!"
"What?!"
"The one that's glowing... is Master Heka! There are two of them!"
"There's another one floating in the air?!"
There was an uproar in the tent, and Samar suddenly turned around, unsheathed his scimitar with a clang, and stabbed it hard into the ground.
"Master Heka, Master Heka... Why is it Master Heka again!"
Samar gritted his teeth, veins popped on his forehead, and he waved his hands violently as if he had touched some ominous sign: "Mobilize all troops! Generals of all units, take your elite troops and go to the garrison immediately for support!"
"Yes!" The generals immediately took the order, turned around and quickly walked out of the tent.
Samar stood there and took a few deep breaths.
Because that base is not an ordinary defense base.
It is the largest garrison point in the entire periphery of Memphis and also the key center of the city defense system. Once occupied, the entire external defense line of Memphis will be cut off from the middle!
His hands gripped the scimitar so tightly that he almost crushed the handle.
"Damn those damn Egyptians!"
