It's dawn.
When the sun shone on the ruins of the city of Hebron, they could feel the shock brought to them by the power of the "monster".
Such a big city, now more than 80% of it has been destroyed into ruins.
Those thick city walls looked like dried bread, as if they had been broken and crushed at random.
"Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh has issued an order!"
"Enter the city of Hebron immediately!"
"The army will be stationed here, and we must repair important defense facilities as quickly as possible!"
Most of the soldiers of the Holy Egyptian Alliance army had already moved in at dawn.
When the soldiers entered the city of Hebron, everyone had a similar expression on their face.
That is doubt.
Because there was no foul smell in the air, nor any trace of the devil's flesh and blood.
Even in the places where its huge tentacles had been, no traces of its actual existence could be found.
Aside from the damage it caused, of course.
Azraz the Blood-Hidden died, and with him his power faded.
The terrible pollution, the unpleasant smell, and the huge tentacles that would make people feel terrified at the mere sight of them all disappeared.
At first, the soldiers of the Holy Egyptian Alliance just silently carried stones and repaired the collapsed city walls.
Goliath led several giants and stood at the most damaged part of the city wall, easily lifting the broken boulders with his huge palms.
Then, they worked together to reassemble the huge stones and put them back into place.
What they have to do is not to actually repair the city walls, but just to add some effective defensive power to this unbearable city.
“It’s so clean.”
"Just as the Lord said."
"When the devil dies, everything related to it will also disappear."
"It's been so long, and I haven't seen any stink or blood."
A soldier said this as he touched a cracked stone wall with his finger.
There was no sticky black blood or sticky flesh on the surface of the stone wall.
There, there was only dry dust.
"yes."
Another soldier responded, his voice sounding a little dazed.
"It's like nothing happened."
"But there is no one left in this city."
“The mountains are also bare, as if the land here has been completely purified.”
As he spoke, he glanced towards the city.
If he hadn't known in advance that this was a city, he would probably have thought it was a ruin.
A ruin that had long been destroyed due to war.
"But we clearly saw...those things."
"You guys know that, too, right?"
“That’s not an illusion at all.”
"It's the same for everyone who has seen that devil."
A third person interjected, his voice lowered even more.
For some reason, he seemed very cautious when talking about what happened yesterday.
When everyone heard this, they just stopped what they were doing.
There was a brief silence.
After all, the pain brought by that kind of soul has been deeply embedded in their bones.
In fact, that kind of pain may accompany them throughout their lives.
Whenever they thought of this scene, they felt a sense of fear.
Just then, the wind blew through the ruins, raising fine dust.
Everyone narrowed their eyes slightly, their thoughts seemed to be drawn into memories.
After a long while, someone finally spoke.
"Those tentacles...everyone saw them, right?"
A soldier said this, and others echoed him.
“Yes.”
“I feel it.”
“It’s like tearing people apart.”
They exchanged glances, confirming that they were both people who had experienced that "pain".
Because people who have never felt this kind of "pain" simply cannot understand their feelings.
There is another reason why everyone is silent.
That is, the terrible scene and the soul-tearing pain of last night can no longer be found at all.
The culprit who caused all this——disappeared without a trace.
"But it is dead."
“When I came to my senses, I saw that the monster had disappeared.”
The first soldier continued speaking, and the other soldier immediately took up the conversation.
"That's right, it was His Majesty the Saint Pharaoh who killed the monster!"
"But do you know? His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh defeated this demon without even summoning the gods!"
"I heard this from other soldiers!"
When they heard this, they all expressed their amazement.
"Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh didn't even summon a god for such a powerful demon, just?"
"Could it be? His Majesty the Saint Pharaoh has personally demonstrated his power?"
"Sure enough, His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh! He is a god!"
Just as everyone was amazed, they heard the cheers of the soldiers in another place.
There was a familiar figure standing on the city wall.
He was looking down at the soldiers.
“Plop! Plop! Plop…”
And after the exclamations, there was a series of sounds of people kneeling on the ground.
As for Lin Ke, he was just looking at the city.
Behind Lin Ke, there was a young man with tears streaming down his face.
