Chapter 59: Iron Hoofs Step In! [Farm] Crisis

The [Masters Heka] protected the magician team and gradually moved towards the [Farm].

Their golden light flickered continuously due to the continuous attacks. Although their formation was a little chaotic, they were still moving towards their set goal.

The magicians followed closely behind, and although they were still filled with fear, they did not dare to stop for a moment because they were protected by Master Heka.

Samar observed the team's movements from a distance and found that they were moving slowly towards the [farm] not far away.

In Samar's view, the outer border of the Egyptian capital is very close, so the enemy must not be allowed to pass through the [farm]!

"Cavalry, move out immediately and destroy the [Farm]!"

His order was sonorous and powerful, and all the cavalry immediately turned around and galloped towards the target at high speed.

He glanced at the [Master Heka] who were desperately protecting the magician, and said in a cold and stern tone: "The remaining soldiers, continue to attack, increase the frequency, and make sure to defeat them!"

He allowed no delay and did not hesitate at all.

He knew that if they let the other party use the [Farm] to escape, then all their strategies and attacks today would be in vain.

Whenever Samar thought of those sleepless nights, he felt extremely angry.

But what’s even more hateful is that I now have no way to deal with these Egyptians!

The other party might even escape, which is even more unacceptable!

The cavalry's hooves have begun to move, and Samar has only one target in his eyes.

"Don't let them get away! Don't let them escape!"

The captain took the lead and led the magic shield soldiers to launch a more fierce attack. The sound of blades colliding with golden light continued one after another.

Finally, the golden light on another [Master Heka] gradually dimmed, and finally disappeared completely, and he turned back into an ordinary magician.

However, this time Samar's smile was no longer as proud as before, he frowned.

His eyes were fixed on the situation on the battlefield, and he became increasingly anxious.

He realized that even if the Magic Shield Corps had gone all out and the encirclement had been completely tightened, it would still take an infuriatingly long time to defeat a [Master Heka].

Samar's face became even gloomier, because he understood that if this team really passed through the [farm] and entered the Egyptian capital, it would become almost impossible for them to pursue them.

Thinking of this, he ordered his soldiers to attack with all their might and not give the enemy any chance to breathe.

His voice even became hoarse from the screaming: "Keep pushing forward! Don't let them pass through the [Farm]!"

On the wasteland of the [farm], the cavalrymen changed direction, with their spears and scimitars raised high, ready to carry out a bloody cleanup of the land first.

They were accustomed to launching fierce charges against the enemy, trampling everything with their horses' hooves and then harvesting the remaining lives with their swords.

In their eyes, the [farm] before them was just another target waiting to be conquered.

When this [farm] appeared before the cavalry, it looked like one of the countless fields they had trampled along the way.

It was almost their usual method to break through the defense line with spears and horses, take away everything they could take away, and burn everything they could burn.

However, this [farm] gave them pause.

It wasn't because of fear, but because of the eerie silence.

The grain fields were neatly tended. Although the doors and windows of the houses were closed, they were spotless. Even the sinks were full of clean water.

But there was no one around, and not a single dog could be heard barking.

"It's really strange, there's not even a slave to guard it?" A cavalryman muttered in a low voice with a hint of sarcasm in his tone.

"I'm afraid they'd all run away when they saw us."

The other cavalrymen laughed briefly upon hearing this.

They had seen too many villages and fields turned into ruins under their iron hooves, and a little less resistance and screaming would only make things easier.

"Whatever, isn't it easier without anyone here?" Another cavalryman shrugged and pointed forward with his long sword, "Hurry up, don't keep the commander waiting."

The cavalrymen did not pay attention to these unusual details at all, but instead regarded them as good news that would save them effort.

They rode forward, weapons raised, ready to set the [farm] on fire and blade as they had always done.

"Destroy this place and burn everything!"

The cavalry captain's orders were conveyed one by one.

They looked at the sparse grass piles with sneers, ready to trample them into mud in the next second.

The sound of armor colliding echoed in the open area, sounding particularly harsh.

However, just as they were approaching, preparing to launch a charge and wreak havoc, a sharp arrow came out of nowhere and pierced directly through the chest of a cavalryman.

The arrow threw him high off his horse and made him fall heavily to the ground.

The surrounding cavalrymen were startled. Before they could figure out what was happening, the second arrow flew out, and another cavalryman fell heavily to the ground, with the long sword in his hand falling out of his hand.

"No! Be careful!" the captain shouted loudly, but before he finished his voice, another arrow was shot.

The cavalrymen were immediately thrown into disarray and began to look for the enemy everywhere.

But they could not see any archers, only the sound of arrows breaking through the wind and the neighing of horses.

"What is attacking us? Find it out quickly!" The cavalrymen ran around, trying to find the enemy who shot the arrows.

Soon, several more cavalrymen were hit by arrows and fell down without even having time to scream.

Their heavy armor was completely ineffective at this moment. The arrows accurately penetrated the gaps in the armor and were extremely deadly.

In just a few minutes, the cavalry had lost nearly a hundred people.

"The arrow was shot from the haystack!"

Finally, one of the cavalrymen screamed out his discovery, but before he could finish his words, he was pierced through the throat by an arrow and fell to the ground.

The remaining cavalry stopped and looked at each other. For a moment no one dared to move forward.

The haystack stood there quietly, without any abnormality. Only the flying arrows reminded them that the enemy was here.

No matter what, there was only one arrow shot from there.

"There's only one person inside!" someone shouted, trying to give everyone courage.

They began to approach the haystack cautiously, but the moment they got close, the speed of the arrows suddenly increased, flying out one after another.

The cavalrymen who rushed forward fell one after another, and the shadow of death shrouded the entire team.

The number of cavalry has dropped sharply, and there have been too many casualties!

"Retreat! Retreat quickly!" a cavalryman shouted loudly, trying to preserve the remaining strength and return to report the news.

However, those who wanted to escape had no chance of escape. The arrows seemed to have eyes and shot every target who tried to escape.

In the end, all that was left on the farm was an empty farm and the pile of hay that frightened them.

The air was filled with a strong smell of blood, the bodies of horses lay on the ground, and there was deathly silence all around.
