David said as he slowly looked up.
"Until the flesh turns to dust and the soul returns to the sea of light."
The gray-robed man on the left chuckled: "Very good."
"You are worthy of being the warrior we chose."
When David heard what the other party said, he just nodded vigorously a few more times.
Then he lifted his clothes and placed his right hand on the hideous scar on his chest.
"This scar was left by the previous city lord."
"From the day I discovered their evil deeds, I vowed to make them pay the price."
“Now, I finally got what I wanted.”
"They thought I was going to die, but the Society of the Light gave me a new life."
One of the gray-robed men nodded with satisfaction.

Then, the three gray-robed men took a step forward at the same time.
Their shadows stretched eerily across the wall.
"Have you heard of the deeds of the Lord of Light?"
The gray-robed man on the right suddenly asked, but his voice sounded very young.
Hearing this, David adjusted his breathing before speaking slowly.
"I heard that he was crowned king in the midst of war."
"Summon the gods, reclaim vast tracts of land, and build many 'miracles'."

When David heard this, he simply bowed slightly once again to express his respect for the Society of Light and the three predecessors.
