"Is this it?"
Lin Ke glanced around and it seemed that since this was the area where the Rose Cult was located, there were not many people here.
Or rather, there is no one at all.
This made Lin Ke even more certain that this must be where the succubus was.
Sure enough, just as Lin Ke took a step and stepped into the courtyard, he heard the succubus's fierce voice.
Obviously, there was some kind of magic that could block out sound here, so the screams of the succubus inside could not be heard from outside the courtyard.
The entire area here is filled with a strong smell of blood.

Then came the responses from several demons.
"As you wish, respected leader."
Lin Ke approached quietly and found three tall demons standing in the yard.
They are shirtless, muscular, and have gray-blue skin.
However, their bodies are almost completely covered with various hairs and blood. Obviously, they are the demons responsible for feeding the succubus.
Each demon held a bronze basin filled with crimson blood.
In the center of the courtyard, there is a marble platform.
On top of it, lies a female demon.
Succubus.
At this moment, she maintained the form of her demon body, but her body looked a little strange.
The muscle-wrapped parts of her body were beating rhythmically.
Not only that, dozens of tiny blood-red magic threads were wrapped around her body, connecting her to various containers and altars around her.
Lin Ke took a look at the succubus's body and found that her injuries had indeed improved.
The fractures and breaks that had once been broken had healed, no longer forming strange, twisted shapes, and the cracks in the skin no longer oozed blood.
However, her entire body was still stained with blood.
Some was her own, but much more came from the sacrificed animals.
Lin Ke knew very well that the reason she had to use so much animal blood was because Lin Ke had told her that it was best not to drink human blood.
Therefore, the succubus still followed Lin Ke's orders, and even though she needed to recover her body now, she still did not choose to suck human blood.
Lin Ke knew that this was all because the succubus didn't want Lin Ke to hate her because of this.
“It’s not enough!”
The succubus commanded urgently, her voice taking on a sick frenzy.
"The blood of those lowly animals is too weak. I need a stronger source of magic power!"
The three demons looked at each other, and one of them whispered back, "Master, we've used up all the animals we could find."
“Even the nearby farms have…”
It didn't say a complete sentence, but the meaning was clear.
That means all the animals around have been sacrificed.
The succubus struggled angrily, and the blood-red magic threads danced wildly with her movements.
"Then go find more animals!"
"I don't care about the cost, I just want to get well soon!"
"Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh may need my strength at any time. How can I tolerate myself being so weak and powerless!"
Her chest heaved violently, and a pair of small bat wings appeared and disappeared behind her, caused by her extremely unstable emotions.
Just as she was about to continue roaring, Lin Ke slowly walked out from the shadows and coughed lightly.
The three demons froze instantly and almost dropped the bronze basins in their hands.
They bowed their heads in fear and saluted: "Greetings to His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh!"
"We were unaware of your Majesty's arrival. We hope that your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh will forgive us."
The succubus was completely stunned, her mouth slightly open, her eyes wide open, and she forgot to breathe for a moment.
The blood slowly flowed down her cheeks, making her look both sad and terrifying.
"What?! This..."
"Holy Pharaoh... Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh..."
She finally found her voice, but it was filled with obvious fear and shame.
The succubus lowered her head, not daring to meet Lin Ke's eyes.
"Why are you here? I...how can I see you in this state?"
Lin Ke ignored the horrified looks of the three demons and walked straight towards the stone platform.
"After I finish the necessary things, it will be convenient for me to come and see you."
"You were seriously injured, but now it looks like you've mostly recovered."
"How do you feel now?"
The succubus frantically tried to cover up the blood stains on her body: "Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh... Please! Please don't come near!"
"I look so ugly now. This will pollute the eyes of His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh!"
"And this bloody smell... Your Majesty, please go back first. With your status, how could you come to this filthy place?"
Lin Ke waved her hand, stopping her from speaking: "It's okay."
"Compared to your injuries, this little bit of blood is nothing."
He carefully examined the succubus's condition and noticed that although she had recovered a lot on the surface, her magic core was still extremely disordered and the energy flow in her body was uneven.
This suggests she still has a long road to recovery.
