The black shadow could absorb all the light, and when the moonlight shone on it, it was still just a dark shadow.
The man holding the sword turned his head and ignored the woman who was crying and biting her lips.
He simply pointed his sword at the dark shadow, and then he pressed hard on the crying woman, signaling her to squat on the ground and not move.
"Who's there?"
"Come here and walk slowly."
"If you dare to act rashly, I will chop off your head."
He swallowed and continued to point the sharp end of the sword at the shadow.
He shook his wrist lightly, signaling the dark figure to come over.
"Sir, could you please put down your weapon first?"
"I...I'm scared."
The sound immediately stunned the man, because he had never heard such a sound in his life, or in his entire life until today.
Then, the man's hand suddenly froze in mid-air, still maintaining the posture of holding the knife, but the strength of holding the handle had been mostly lost.
The sound was like a spoonful of warm honey poured on the back of his neck, flowing down his spine and making half of his body numb.
His Adam's apple rolled and the tip of the knife slowly dropped.
This is not right.
Logically, he should have been alert, but now, he only felt that a furry cub had entered his ear and was licking his eardrum with its warm tongue.
The sound was light and soft, with a slight tremor at the end, like the thin threads pulled out when freshly steamed glutinous rice cake is torn apart.
"you......"
His voice suddenly became hoarse and he had to clear his throat.
"Ah! You!"
"Who are you!"
As soon as he made a sound, his weapon fell to the ground with a bang, which even scared himself.
"Sir...I..."
"Could you please put your weapon down first?"
"Look! I'm unarmed and I won't hurt you!"
The shadow raised his hand and took a few steps towards the man.
Now, the man heard clearly that the voice was that of a sweet woman.
Not only could he now smell a faint fragrance, he could even see the graceful outline of the black shadow.
His lips opened slightly, and his raised arm began to slowly lower.
Of course, that was because the black shadow was getting closer and closer to him.
And now she was no longer a shadow, the man could see her face and body curves very clearly.
She was a beautiful woman in a black gauze dress. She was taking graceful steps and emerging from the shadows.
She has a perfect oval face and long, shiny black hair that falls to her slender waist.
Those purple eyes were like sparkling gems. The man felt his heartbeat quicken and his whole body become hot after just one glance.
The collarbone under her slender neck was faintly visible, which made the man completely forget the woman behind him who was still sobbing and had lost her husband.
"Who are you?"
The man swallowed, his eyes completely attracted by the uninvited guest, unable to move at all.
He didn't care about the other person's identity now. All he wanted to do was to knock her down immediately and then transform into a primitive beast.
Of course, the reason why he didn't do that was because the other person's beauty was too exaggerated, which made it impossible for him to rudely pick the blooming violet.
The woman lowered her head slightly, looked left and right, her expression looked very panicked, as if she was very scared of what was happening here.
There were quite a few people not far away, and there were completely lifeless corpses on the ground.
"Sir, I am just a lost traveler. I heard some noise here and came here to seek help..."
"I...this is all the money I have. Please let me go."
"I absolutely will not tell anyone else about this! Don't worry!"
"I swear on my family, my lord!"
As she raised her voice and said this, her eyes quickly scanned everyone present.
Even the people holding weapons not far away were immediately attracted by her voice.
She saw that there were a total of seven armed men, equipped with simple but sharp weapons.
Clearly, they were not well-trained fighters.
More importantly, she confirmed that there was no one else here except these seven armed men.
Of course, strictly speaking, it was the others who were farther away from them, still some distance away.
The man looked at the money and things presented by the beautiful woman with both hands, and simply grabbed her hands and pushed them to his chest.
"Alas, a pretty girl shouldn't be wandering around alone at a time like this."

So, those armed men immediately carried out the order and roughly tied up the three civilians, including the woman who had just lost her husband.
