Chapter 51: Renovating a New Shelter

Chen Ruoruo came to the cave she discovered. It was a natural stone cave with an entrance about three meters high and four meters wide. The entire cave was radiating from the inside to the outside, wide on the outside and narrow on the inside. After walking a distance inside, it was blocked by some stone bodies similar to stalactites.

Chen Ruoruo used her consciousness to investigate the entire cave and the situation of the mountain, and then exited the cave. She took out the Thousand Jin Door from the space, controlled it with her consciousness and sent it into the cave, smashing all the stalactites that blocked the way. Then she controlled the Thousand Jin Door to smash all the unstable stone layers deep in the cave.

The unstable rocks collapsed under this operation. When the dust settled, a massive crater, eight meters high and five or six meters wide, had been pounded deep inside the cave. Fortunately, this crater was located in the center of the mountain, so aside from the sliding of some unstable rocks, it had no significant impact on the entire mountain.

Chen Ruoruo looked at the big pit in front of her with great satisfaction. She controlled the thousand-jin door to flatten the rocks at the bottom of the pit, and then laid steel plates on it. Then she took out various cement river sand, steel bars, and various insulation, waterproof and moisture-proof decoration materials from the space and placed them on the steel plates. She had to tidy up the place first before she could move in directly.

Since she had no previous decoration experience, she could only rely on her own ideas. She embedded steel bars and steel pipes around and above the pit to form a stable structure.

Using consciousness to control the use of waterproof and moisture-proof materials, first brush the walls around the hole several times. After it dries, apply the mixed cement and river sand to the walls around the pit, and wait until the entire pit wall is covered with cement.

While the cement was still wet, she intertwined it with network cables in various places on the wall, then covered the entire wall of the cave with insulation, and then surrounded it with bricks and painted cement again. In view of the high temperature conditions later, Chen Ruoruo laid several layers of insulation material around the stone wall.

After the area around the wall was processed, Chen Ruoruo collected part of the steel plate at the bottom of the pit into the space, and poured the mixed cement on the bottom of the other pit. After it dried, he repeated the same process on the other side. After all the cement at the bottom of the pit dried, he applied waterproof and moisture-proof material on it. After that, Chen Ruoruo used cement and bricks to build a small pool as tall as a person in the corner of the pit.

It took Chen Ruoruo about four or five days to do this. After all, she had never done such a thing before. Seeing that the cave was taking shape, she finally breathed a sigh of relief. The rest was up to the high temperature to come.

Then she put a lot of deodorizers in the cave, took a few air purifiers and batteries, and then placed a safe deep in the cave entrance and another one near the entrance. Regardless of whether it was possible or not, just in case, she didn't want to work so hard to make things easier for others.
