Chapter 242 Roasted Rabbit
The woods were quiet, with the occasional rustling of leaves in the wind and the rustling sound of Mu Qi's hands sharpening a wooden stick.

He really wanted to jump up and praise her!

Mu Qi pursed his lips and smiled.
She hunted two rabbits and then came to a meadow not far from the lake.

Mu Qi stared at him as he clumsily performed the friction motion to create fire. As she expected, after becoming proficient, he moved very quickly and sparks soon appeared.
Mu Qi was smiling beside him, which made Chang Wu feel uneasy.
He increased his speed and, using the dry leaves, quickly started a fire.
"Great! Hehe!" Mu Qi's praising tone did not make Chang Wu happy at all. He always felt that her smile was a little naughty.
It was already dark, with only the fire in front of us illuminating the world.
Mu Qi directed Chang Wu to turn the rabbit on the homemade wooden rack. He picked some sour fruits and squeezed the juice out of them, and also smeared some grass juice that Chang Wu did not recognize.
Although he was sweating from the heat, it should be because he was in a bad mood, but Chang Wu felt calm in his heart when he looked at Mu Qi's bright profile illuminated by the fire.
Mu Qi's stomach was growling. Chang Wu curled his lips, took a fruit, washed it in the water wrapped in a banana leaf, and handed it to her, "Eat it first to fill your stomach."
Mu Qi didn't hesitate to take it and started to eat it.
"Oh, it seems like I haven't sat down to eat and drink for years." Mu Qi sighed.
When Chang Wu heard this, an idea suddenly flashed through his mind. Perhaps, this is the meaning of this secret place like the Peach Blossom Spring.
After roasting for more than half an hour, the aroma became more and more intense, and each rabbit was roasted golden brown.
Chang Wu took the rabbit down, endured the heat and tore open a rabbit leg with his bare hands and handed it to Mu Qi.
Mu Qi wanted to take it but he stopped her, "It's hot, I'll hold it for you for a while."
Mu Qi glanced at him and started to eat the rabbit leg from his hand.
"Smells good!" His expression was so satisfied that Chang Wu couldn't help but smile.
Mu Qi took it when they were halfway through the meal. It was not so hot anymore and Chang Wu did not stop him. He tore off a piece of rabbit leg and started chewing on it.
In the end, the two rabbits were eaten up by the two men.
Mu Qi touched his bloated belly and felt sleepy after eating and drinking.
Mu Qi climbed up the tree branch with Chang Wu again, and fell asleep in the night breeze.
Chang Wu looked at her for a long time, his eyes were so gentle, and he soon fell asleep.
When I woke up the next day, the autumn wind was blowing gently, and the leaves in the distance turned yellow and fell down.
She looked at the long-necked cuckoo on the branch next to her. Perhaps he felt cold from the autumn wind, and he hugged his arms unconsciously in his sleep.
